Graduation Requirements and Participation in Graduation Ceremonies

Complete all remediation before graduation and earn the required 32 credits to qualify to participate in graduation ceremonies

Must not fail any classes during Quarter 4 that are needed for graduation – meaning either required classes or classes needed for overall 32 credits.

Must be enrolled in 8 classes

Note: A student may still graduate and receive a diploma if he/she completes the requirements, but will not walk with the class if the above requirements are not met.

College/Tech School Applications completed during UCAW October 28-29

College means: 1,2,4 or more years of schooling/training…even trainings less than a year!

Automatic Scholarships - When applying to colleges, most award an automatic ACADEMIC scholarship based on your ACT and GPA Index score.

Sign, accept, and send back ALL scholarship offers from colleges/tech schools.*

It's okay to accept from more than one college. You will only end up attending one in the end. Colleges expect this to happen. *An exception to this is athletic scholarships which require signed contracts and commitments which you would only make with one college.

Retake ACT, if needed/desired

If you get a higher ACT score, contact the college to which you have applied to see if it will raise your scholarship. See Counseling if you have questions about this.

Fill out your FAFSA www.fafsa.ed.gov. How to Pay for College and FAFSA Completion Event October 28 @ 6pm

Parent FSA ID# (www.fafsa.ed.gov then select "FSA ID" at the top) If parent has an ID which was used for another student, parent should use the same one or reset it, but not create a new one.
