I-275 Roadway RehabilitationEarly Spring 2020November 2020Parts of I-275 are also going to be under construction in 2020, including Ford and Six Mile.

Townships impacted by the roadway rehabilitation project include Livonia, Canton, Plymouth, and Northville.

Streets impacted will likely be Schoolcraft Service Road, Five Mile Road, Ford Road (during ramp closure), Jeffries Freeway, Farmington Road, Levan Road, and Ann Arbor Road (once ramp is closed). 		The southbound Metro Trail will be closed between Five Mile Road and Schoolcraft Road during the construction. MT-102 SegmentMarch 2020OngoingEight Mile Road will have work done between I-75 and I-94.

This project is part of a larger, 2-15-year project scheduled in the area. It spans throughout the area and is divided into several segments. The initial work is done on one side of the road, and the otherside of the freeway will start in March 2020 (it was reopened for the 2019/2020 winter season).

Neighborhoods affected by this segment of construction include Chaldean Town, Greenbriar, Regent Park and Fitzgerald.

Since the construction can include a 10-mile stretch of Eight Mile Road, many streets and businesses can be impacted. Some of the more major streets include Chrysler Drive, Dequindre Street, Ryan Road, and Mound Road. Neighborhoods likely affected by the construction include Highland Park, Ferndale, Royal Oak, Hazel Park, and Huntington Woods.

The service road impacted is called Walter P Chrysler Freeway. Several intersecting streets include East Woodward Heights Boulevard, East 9 Mile Road, and East 8 Mile Road.
