7 | 1. Make a copy of this workbook so you can edit it (File > Make a Copy). | ||
8 | 2. Review the data catalog assessment criteria across all categories, use cases, and associated features. If there are needs specific to your company, add rows accordingly (e.g. industry-specific compliance, etc). | ||
9 | 3. Prioritize each feature with it's importance: [P1: Essential], [P2: Nice to have], [P3: Not relevant]. At a minimum, this is a good exercise for your team. We recommend sharing this information with your vendors as well to have a more efficient conversation. | ||
10 | 4. Add any additional information you'll need for your procurement team to evaluate vendors (e.g. general company information, etc.) | ||
11 | 5. Have vendors work through your assessment criteria. Short list those that best meet your needs for further discussion and selection. | ||
