K-12 Common Assessment Bank & Math Item Sets
3
In an effort to support data-driven instruction, we have compiled a list of common assessments for each tested subject and grade level. This bank of tests was developed from teacher-created assessments throughout our district. For grades 3 - 5 in math, DPI's common formative assessments were also added. Thank you to all who helped in this process. The goal of this bank is to provide you with standard specific assessments that you can choose to use to help drive your instruction. We hope to continue to add additional assessments to this bank throughout the year.

Each of these assessments have been scheduled and are available all year. Text-to-speech is ready on all district made assessments (except the Math Sets, text-to-speech does not always read those correctly). NCDPI Math Sets have also been added to this spreadsheets. These are assessments that are already scheduled and are available all year. The questions in the math sets are the same questions as from the Passports for Learning. These items can be used in anyway that you wish in your classroom (exit tickets, question of the day, small groups, Kahoot, warm-ups, etc.). The text-to-speech on NCDPI's math sets, does NOT read correctly.

Troubleshooting Tips:
All common assessments are using the Test Nav browser. This browser opens in a pop-up window, and can sometimes be blocked by the device. A sign of the pop-up blocker being turned on is when students are entering the passcode for an assessment, and are then being brought back to the beginning to enter the code again. See the following fixes:
-ChromeBook or Chrome Browser:
- Icon with Red X will appear in the right-hand corner of the URL Bar.
- Click on the icon and select Always Allow.
- Select Done.
-iPad:
- Select Settings.
- Select Safari.
- Toggle the button to turn the Pop-up blocker off.
- When accessing a test a small window will appear, asking if you want allow. Select Allow.
