3. Translate the values under the "my score" column into points based on a 100 point scale. Example: If participation is worth 10% of your grade, it is worth 10 points on the 100-point scale. If you earned 100% attendance, give yourself 10 points. If you got an 90%, give yourself 9 points, if you earned 80% give yourself 8 points, and so on.

3. Cell D9 has a formula built in to show the sum of all the points you entered in column D. If you add or delete rows, make sure the formula accurately captures that data.

4. Type in the best test score you could get in cell d13 (in yellow). If your exam is worth 10%, the top score you can get is 10. If it's worth 50%, the top score you can get is 50. In our example, the final exam is worth 40% of the final grade, so the top score is 40. Leave the lowest test score in cell d14 as zero. Your best-case scenario (green) and worst-case scenario (red) will populate based on the information you provided.
