Agriculture Solutions Initiative includes two key projects:
1. Traceability Platform Project
TMA’s Traceability Platform addresses the transparency challenges in Vietnam's agricultural supply chain. The system leverages blockchain technology combined with QR codes to track products from farm to consumer.
Farmers can easily use their smartphones to update information on cultivation, harvesting, and post-processing. Each batch is assigned a unique QR code, which stores all data on an immutable blockchain. Every stage—from transportation and import/export to retail—is automatically recorded.
The system supports various agricultural products such as durian and coffee, with customized processing workflows for each type. AI-powered features help detect fraud and predict product quality, thereby enhancing the reputation of Vietnamese agricultural brands.
2. Livestock Health Monitoring Project
The Livestock Health Monitoring system utilizes IoT and AI to track the health conditions of livestock in real time. The project focuses on three main types of animals: cattle, pigs, and goats.
IoT sensors attached to the animals collect vital signs such as heart rate and body temperature, while also monitoring daily activity. GPS functionality enables effective tracking of herd location across pastures. Machine learning algorithms analyze the data to detect early signs of diseases such as mastitis, high fever, lameness, and skin conditions.
The platform is integrated with laboratories to analyze milk quality and other health indicators. Farmers receive instant alerts via a mobile app when abnormalities are detected, allowing for timely intervention and reduced losses. This system contributes to improved livestock farming and ensures food safety.
