official home of carpools and food for boyne trip 2014we always have enough food and drink because everyone is so generous, but it's good to stay a bit organized with this many people. we need breakfast and dinner covered, lunch is smaller and many don't come back to the house for lunch (but i do). if you are tight on money, you may choose to do more cleaning and less cooking. but don't stress, we've never had a problem yet. potluckBREAKFAST (2 OR 3 PEOPLELUNCH (1 OR 2 PEOPLE)SNACKSDINNER (3 OR 4 PEOPLE)CLEANING

Lot #81 The Reserve 02064 Kitzbuhel Boyne Falls, MI 49713

(The address does not appear on GPS)

The Reserve is a new community built on the back of the Boyne Mountain Resort. To enter the Reserve, follow Mountain Pass Road, which circles around the back of the resort to Deer Lake Road. Make a left had turn on Deer Lake Road. On the left you will see the sign for The Reserve. Make a left and follow the Reserve Road up the mountain until you come to Kitzbuhel Road. Continue up Kitzbuhel Road all the way up the mountain. Our house is the last house on Kitzbuhel. When you arrive, you will see the top of our home, because the driveway is steep and the home is built on a very deep lot. Enter the drive carefully and pull into the garage. The garage code is (1,4,3,6 enter) and is located on the wall next to the door. When closing the garage from the outside it is the same (1,4,3,6 enter). PROVDED BY Barrythanks Bar
46
Based on the directions, this should be the location on Google Maps.
47
At the end of Kitzbuhel Road is the Kitz Warming Cabin. It is only used by the residents of the Reserve. The pass-key (white plastic credit card size) is in the home. You can only enter with the pass-key. This is where we ski out and ski back to the house. It’s just a short walk from the house. When you ski out from the Kitz Cabin, it takes you down the back of Super Bowl. You can return the same way and walk up to the home. It’s very simple and convenient. Non-skiers will have to drive down the mountain and drive into the Resort. If you use satellite view at this location, you can see the last house and it's right by the Kitz community warming cabin.
48
GPS Coordinates are 45.15563,-84.937761

Just a note: There are sometimes serious weather conditions on the mountain and the roads become covered by snow very quickly. We have always driven a vehicle that has a four-wheel drive. You should always be very cautious of the snow conditions. Even on our driveway, if it’s too slippery or snow covered, just park on the street. You don’t want to get stuck on the steep driveway. The driveway is plowed by 6:00 am if there is a 2-3 inch snowfall. The mountain passes are plowed often too, but plowed by different companies. https://maps.google.com/maps/ms?msa=0&msid=207817852983875916452.00048ec407e809ca973c1&ie=UTF8&ll=45.15529,-84.936671&spn=0.003703,0.008256&t=m&z=18&vpsrc=6&iwloc=0004f06b2dd4bae886679

Lot #81 The Reserve 02064 Kitzbuhel Boyne Falls, MI 49713 (231) 549-1111 Land Line Dear Visitors: Welcome to our vacation home. We hope your stay is comfortable and enjoyable. There are just a few things we hope you will abide by, while staying at the home. No smoking in the home. No pets in the home. Turn off all lights and electrical appliances before you depart. Lower the thermostats to 68 degrees before your departure. Shut off fireplaces before departure. The THERMOSTAT on the wall in living room controls the fireplace; turn temperature up to 70 and fireplace will come on and below 68 to shut of the fireplace. (DO NOT turn it off inside with the pilot.) The fireplace in basement is controlled inside the fireplace and the switch on the side-wall turns on the blower. If snow is expected, more than 2-3 inches, have cars parked on the street or in the garage. The snow will be plowed on the drive and the walkway usually around 5:00 am. Housekeepers will change sheets and wash towel at your departure. Please leave wet towels in bathrooms. They do ask if there is a large amount of people to throw a load of towels in the washing machine before you leave. It helps them speed up the process of housekeeping. Please dispose of all perishable food. There is a garbage dumpster at the bottom of Reserve Drive at the main entrance to the Reserve. It’s next to the red barn; where we dispose of all our garbage. (winter only). There is also a dumpster at the Kitz Cabin (summer only). There is a pass-key (white plastic credit card size) that opens the door to the Kitz Warming Cabin. It’s located hanging by the in the white information book on the kitchen counter. The Kitz cabin is for residents only. You’re welcome to use the cabin especially for the wireless Internet. Turn off lights and television after use. Please respect the Kitz cabin, keep clean and presentable for all the residents. Be sure to leave the pass-key at my home, on the kitchen counter when you depart. I try to keep the home stocked with toilet paper, soaps, cleaning products, dish washer detergent (liquid only), laundry soap, salt, pepper, spices, etc. I hope it is when you arrive. I’m not there as often now that we are renting, but I hope you find what you need in the house. When using the barbeque grill, pull it outside of the garage when grilling. Place it back in the garage at departure. Extinguish any fires in fire pit or outside barbecue grill. Lock all doors, windows and close garage when you leave. Check out 12:00 pm. Housekeepers arrive by 1:00 pm Snowmobiles are not allowed on the property of The Reserve. The garage door code is (1, 4, 3, 6 enter) That is your entry and exit door. There is not a key at the home. If you have any concerns, do not hesitate to call us. We hope you enjoy the Boyne experience with your family and friends. There are activities for all seasons at and around the Resort. Restaurants, Bars, Avalanche Bay water park, Solice Spa, skiing, cross-country, snow mobiling, golf, tennis, swimming at Deer Lake, etc. Have a wonderful time and we hope you enjoy your stay!
