Having the roster open to 15 spots, would help with finding subs
3
The current roster limit is 12 which is double the number of players on court at one time. And the roster freeze allows for a lot of flexibility, so make sure to use it to the fullest extent adding and deleting players.

Would like to see playing a 5 game set
7
I am not against this for some leagues but would be at a higher team cost due to increased pay for officials.

5 minute grace period should be for all games, and not just the first match
12
At some point there needs to be a cut off. If we allow 5 minute grace period for each time slot then it could stack and 10:10 games could start as late as 10:30. But the last thing we like to see are forfeits. We will look at options for that first game of each match to avoid forfeits.

Volleyball is often sharing space with Basketball, and there seems to be a level of disrespect to the volleyball areas by the basketball players. They warm up in our areas, when we are also trying to warm up
15
Playing the 3rd game to 25. The third game is always a little lackingThis information will be shared with the basketball programmer so he can send a notice to all basketball teams reminding them of the volleyball leagues in the gyms. I will also share with our nightly field staff, so they can get better control of the issue as well.
16
I will look into this to see what it would do to time slot scheduling of an hour a part and would result in an increase in fees due to paying the official a higher rate.

I do not want to be ghost ruled for only having 5 girls on the court for Women's Rec
20
I will look into this and adjust the ghost rule accordingly if needed.
21
Would like to see three levels of women's volleyball (Rec, Intermediate, and comp)
22
Good idea. Will discuss in future planning meeting.

24
Adding a tournament at the send of the season
25
We have champ of champs in Fall, Winter, and Spring. Leagues that do not go to champ of champs have a four team playoff. We have tried the Cabin fever reliever and Spikefest during the spring seasons, but did not produce enough teams. We can always try again.
26
Changing the rule so there can be more than one toss for a serve, just give the person two times to toss just incase they mess up the first one.
27
I believe that is a USAV rule and not a CRPD rule. I am not against allowing this in recreational leagues but competitive leagues should be able to complete their serve on the first toss.
28
29
Monitor the leagues better for skill play. Some players were playing down when they should be playing up and vice versa
30
Volleyball has traditionally been the one sport that teams want to play better competition. I understand there is quite a difference between Women's Rec and Women's Comp. The idea listed above for a 3rd division of Women's play would allow a promotion system from rec to intermediate to competitive.
31
32
Changing the "Girl must touch before it goes over" rule. Seems outdated and not needed as we all tend to play fairly.
33
Another rule that I will look into. If this rule does not match the national standard of mixed volleyball leagues we will look into changing it.
34
35
The I.D. policy for champ of champs needs to be made clear. Had an issue where I was not told about this rule and we could not play our game.
36
The league has undergone some really positive changes in the past few yearsThe I.D. policy is listed in the rule book and has been listed for many years. All players are required to have an ID and need to provide ID upon request of CRPD Staff. I will make sure that this is communicated come champ of champs time in the future though.
37
I agree :) Keep ideas and potential rule changes coming. If it benefits everyone in the league and makes for a more enjoyable experience for players Im all for it!
