Getting ready for calculus (book, worksheet book, videotapes and a map) and his book Changing Shapes With Matrices are for sale. Strategies used are looking for patterns, and visualization- using graphs, diagrams, pineapples, a chambered Nautilus, rods, and mirrors. Don shows in the worksheet appendix, how to use calculators and computers to get infinite series and infinite sequences, which are in almost every chapter. There are a number of science to math applications. Don's book "Calculus By and For Young People (ages 7, yes 7 and up)" was reviewed in the Dec.'88 issue of Scientific American magazine (among many others). Problems from Don's books and student solutions are on his web site.
