ECHO843-213-1798Here is info about ECHO for the guy needing it, (they have helped many people in horry county, a few that I know personally) They are an organization that helps those affected by covid and are experiencing possible eviction due to loss of income or lower income because of covid. To apply for their help you fill out the application online and can attach pictures of documentation with your phone, things that are past due such as electricity bills and or water, and a lease along with any documents around late rental payments. If you have a formal eviction notice they can pay your late rent and up to three months ahead if your landlord agrees. If not, they can help you find a new place and help with a security deposit and a couple of month's rent so that you can get back on your feet. In my experience, they deal with people mostly through email and it can take about 30 days for their help, but when they confirm and accept they will take care of everything late for you and contact your landlord for you and utility companies. Be sure and do your own checking on this since things change constantly.
