30 | #21 In reference to the above categories, what do you consider to be this team member’s greatest asset? Provide a rationale to describe why you selected this particular leadership capacity. | I believe I possess a well developed sense of empathy. I frequently 'seek first to understand, then try to be understood by others. | Justin is extremely creative. He always seems to be bringing fresh and innovative ideas to our project experience. | My leadership was the greatest asset I brought to our team. I organized our collective effort, while encouraging others to demostrate their leadership as well. | Mark's greatest asset is his tenacity. I know that I can count on him to be available and responsive and to get the job done. | Makenna's greatest asset is her ability to balance school and personal commitments. I know she struggles sometimes, but she manages this well most days. | Cat's greatest asset is her intent to improve herself by continuing her education in the face of her personal challenges.
31 | #22 In reference to the above categories, what do you consider to be this team member’s greatest need for improvement? Provide a rationale to describe why you selected this particular leadership capacity. | I tend not to be very persistent. When I encounter obstacles, I tend to get frustrated rather quickly and I allow that frustration to impact my performance. | While Justin is very creative, he tends to bring up so many ideas (especially when the team should be in the performing phase) that it slows the group down from functioning properly. This adversely impacts our team cohesion and synergy. | Patience. I became impatient with others on the team when they were unresponsive and not producing adequate work product. I was probably a little quick to dismiss and a little harsh in my insistence that they get ZERO credit for their social loafing. No Ragrets, not even one letter. | Mark's greatest area for improvement is his use of the collaboration tools. While we both struggled with the technology at times, we did manage to get a little out of sync at times. | Makenna's greatest area for improvement is her communication. Sometimes she would go dark on the team and wasn't able to make any of our group calls. She missed out on cohesion as a result. | Cat's greatest areas for improvement are communication and taking responsibility. She must learn to be communicative, reliable, and to pull her own weight.
