the general motivation: reviewing = good

I wanted to design this to incentivize reviewing, but also to incentivize repeat reviews -- one thing I've noticed when these are run is that people tend to scoop up eZ money on one-shots/first chapters, while the ideal is to encourage long-term readership/reviewership. Point values are weighted accordingly.

this is a timed review blitz. the goal is to make people write lots of reviews in a short enough period of time that they won't forget this is happening. our inner bloodlust for points will prevail.

the rules: all straightforward stuff

- word counts do not include quotes from the fic, intro/outro non-review content, etc. Use your best judgment. Word counts are obtained via wordcounter.net + will be double-checked as needed

- only reviews posted during the timeframe count. If you've already reviewed a chapter/fic, either here or on a different forum, you can review again, but only new content can be counted. pls be honest

- more reviews are great, but the goal is still quality -- if it looks like you're spamming, we will check in/address accordingly. use your best judgment. if it's something you'd normally post this outside of this competition, you should be fine.

- Base / All reviews posted during this time = 4 points

- Per 100 words of review = +1 point (stacks with the base, so a 105 word review would be 5 points, 205 would be 6 points, etc).

- Adherence to weekly theme = +5 points

Week 1 - review an author, fic, or genre you've never reviewed before

Week 2 - review a genre that that you have reviewed before, but haven't reviewed recently for one reason or another
