Foot smells of the same vegetal and barnyard notes with a slight hint of white pepper. Cold draw tells namely a saltiness (from the wrapper), cardboard, and cedar. 90MediumMediumFirst third reveals balanced flavors of roasted nuts, cream, cedar, slight bread notes, and the perfect amount of white pepper. Body and Strength is at a solid medium. 92.5MediumMediumSecond third bases off the first third, still giving flavors of roasted nuts, cream, cedar, bread. Now there is a pronounced sweetness, coffee and cream, and increase in white pepper (but still well balanced). Interesting. 87.5MediumMediumSome bread notes begin working their way into the profile during the second third, and all hints of sweetness that were detected on the finish during the first third are completely gone. A surprising transition. 87.5Medium-StrongMediumThis cigar is surprisingly stronger than I anticipated and ends up on the high side of medium by the time I make it to the final third. No changes in the flavor profile from the second to the final third were detected. 87.5The draw was slightly tighter that I typically like, but was completely manageable, and might even be preferable for others. No real complaint or concern at all. 87.5The burn line remained extremely sharp for the first 2/3 of the cigar, but got a good but off track in the last couple of inches. It did manage to continue to self correct however and no maintenance was ever required. 87.5Solid construction evidenced by solid performance. This was a well built stick. 87.5Overall a nice cigar with an uncommon flavor profile. I'd certainly buy a few and keep them in the humidor for days that Im looking for something different than what I more typically reach for. 78

There are a couple of veins in the appealing golden brown wrapper,and fun to smoke attitude throughout.95Enticing aroma's of sweet cedar,spicy nutmeg,and a hint of wilderness have me eager to start.90MediumMediumStarts off with a dry tasting cedar and an unusual amount of smoke for the first couple of puffs. Smoking milder than I expected,even when a touch of spicy nutmeg jumped in. This stirred the pot a bit,but did little to add any pop to the cigar,but it's early,and I do like the way it started.90MediumMediumA very smooth smoking and tasting cigar. Easy on the palate flavors of sweet,but dry tasting cedar,and a light peppery nutmeg are the stars. There is a hint of cocoa,and an ever faint grassy taste lingering in the background,making me want for more.90Medium-StrongMediumThe cedar turns to more of a wood taste as more pepper joins the nutmeg. This pushes the cocoa and light grassy flavors further back,stopping the smoothness and adding a gentle kick,with occasional flare ups of heat at the very end.90A medium firm draw,which is to be expected with this shape cigar. No shortage of cool,tasty smoke.90A worry free burn. Not razor sharp,but a light it and forget it burn that produced a dark flaky ash.92.5Tightly wrapped,with a cap that look's like somebody gave it a swirly,sitting atop a bullet shaped cigar. Although light in the hand,it does feel firm ,with no soft spots. The cigar smoked very well,and the roller should be proud.90A fun cigar to smoke. No issues with the construction with the edges of the wrapper neatly tucked away. 97.5I loved the aroma of this cigar. It had subtle, yet distinct, undertones of black tea behind a curtain of earthiness. This was evenly distributed from cap to foot. 95MediumMediumI was intrigued with the first third. This might be my first cigar that I have reviewed that had a floral essence standing in the forefront. Behind this was a predominance of wood flavors. Definitely the most pleasing third for me. 92.5Medium-StrongLight-MediumSadly, the floral notes that were present I the first third dropped off, but almonds started to emerge. I was unable to detect much of anything else, but I believe this section had a nice nicotine kick as I felt its effects in the last third.85MediumLight-MediumThe final third was essentially a dying breath of what once was an extremely pleasant experience up front. To my dismay, I started picking up harsh flavors that covered the almonds from the second third that persisted to the end of my smoke. 95There where no issues with the draw of the torpedo. Beautiful, rich, thick smoke with no exertion was a fabulous aspect of this stick. 92.5Nice, even burn during the life of the cigar with absolutely no wavering. I was slightly disappointed with the cohesiveness of the ash as it would tumble down after approximately 3/4 of and inch.95The cigar held up nicely throughout my smoke. No splaying of the end or wrapper breakage was apparent. It held its humidity perfectly while being outside and did not bulge at any point.92.5The aroma and first third were the best aspects of this cigar. It was a bit of a shame that the initial promising features could not continue on and I was left feeling slightly disappointed at the end with a harsh flavor. It would not be likely that I would actively seek out this smoke again. 58

Head has a nice taper to it, and is symmetrical. Wrapper has a couple of moderate veins, but do not detract from appearance.87.5Aroma is a mild green hay.87.5MildLight-MediumThe first third was very mild. Flavors consisted of mild tobacco, toast, and a tiny, tiny bit of spice. Not much in the way of excitement in this third, just a mild, somewhat flavorful third.87.5Mild-MediumLight-MediumThe 2nd third continues where the 1st leaves off. Roughly half way in, the spice picks up a little, leaving just a tiny bit of zing through the nose. Still pretty mild.87.5MediumMediumAs I progress through the 2nd and into the final third, there is a bit of pepper starting to slowly come in. Spice picked up a little more here as well. I'm now getting a little more zing through the nose, and a little heat on the lips. Still fairly mild til approximately 2/3 of the way in where it got to a medium on the strength.90Draw was very good the entire time.87.5Burn likewise was good the whole time. Not razor sharp, but fairly straight, and steady.90During the smoke did not experience any problems with the cigars construction.87.5I think this would be ideal as a first cigar of the day with a nice cup of coffee.
