16	The Efficacy Surveys include multiple surveys designed and sent by the Michigan Department of Education (MDE) to determine the efficacy of education programs. The information listed
17	above represents education program completer Year Out survey results - surveys sent to Oakland University prepared new teachers at the end of their first year teaching in PK-12 schools.
18	MDE recently modified the Year Out surveys and the changes are reflected in the categories listed above.
19	Overall, survey results show strong scores. Oakland program completers rate the program highly in clinical experiences and program preparation, readiness to teach, professionalism,
20	effective program elements, using education-related technology, and their preparation in the effective use of assessments and data. This demonstrates our teacher educators confidence in
21	the skills and knowledge gained during their program, which are essential to becoming successful teachers.
