Welcome to the OpenBiomechanics (OBP) Computer Vision (CV) Project!
5
The folders/files available in the OBP-CV dataset are:
6
7
calibration_objectsPictures of measuring tools - filenames contain the metadata of their measurements. Technical drawings included when available.
8
compressed_optitrackGenlocked and synchronized videos from our Prime Color FS system, 8x cameras. Compressed using h264.
9
edgertronic_monochromeGenlocked and synchronized videos from our Edgertronic SC1 (monochrome) system, 4x cameras. Compressed using h264.
10
iPhoneSingle shot "slow-motion" iPhone videos shot at 240 FPS from an iPhone 13 Pro.
11
theia3d_outputSample processed c3ds and overlays from our markerless software, Theia3d. (Note the c3d format may not be what you expect!)
12
13
More details on the calibration objects:
14
- Calibration cube is 27.5 inches from red joint center to joint center with the middle joint center being exactly half the distance.
15
- CS-200 technical drawing has all dimensions required, standard OptiTrack object
16
- CW-500 technical drawing has all dimensions required, standard OptiTrack object
17
- Checkerboard is 5x8 with blue squares to denote orientation. Each square is 100mm in size.
18
19
More details on the camera systems:
20
- Both the OptiTrack and Edgertronic systems are GENLOCKED and SYNCHRONIZED with global shutters.
21
- Edgertronic Wiki is strongly recommended reading: https://wiki.edgertronic.com/wiki/Specification
22
- OptiTrack Prime Color Wiki is strongly recommended reading: https://docs.optitrack.com/movement-sciences/prime-color-camera-setup/prime-color-setup
23
- iPhone 13 Pro uses a ROLLING SHUTTER. Important if you try any comparison methods.
24
- All shots happened in one session with no camera movement; you can assume the calibration objects are therefore representative of the capture volume
25
26
Shot List Tabs have the video descriptions, frame rates, and other details - it is possible some frame rates may be slightly inaccurate. Double check!
