And can choose like a grown ass adult what I want and when. Can make an educated decision. Also have way more energy especially Notice this while at the gym in classes. I feel my form is better and stronger. | Alisha
| 1. I don’t obsess over food anymore 2 Had to lower my thyroid medication! 3. I am sleeping better 4. My digestive issues are gone 5. I feel more calm and happy | Alyson
| More energy to live my life. I have been sleeping better, and the program has helped encourage me to really prioritize my sleep. I’m not obsessed with food. I eat when I’m hungry and don’t get hangry. I’m eating foods I enjoy with no fear of fat. I’m moving more without thinking about it. I just move. I no longer have to unbutton my jeans to put them on or take them off. 😉 | Andria
| Energy! So much energy! I am an active person but this is insane! No more coffee creamer! Figured out it caused tummy issues when I listened to what my body said. Focus on quality foods is so much more satisfying No more feeling bad about not having breakfast Not feeling guilty about a slip because I am a grown ass woman and I can get back up on it the next meal Thanks you!!! | Angela
| -pants fit looser, by the end of the day I’m having to hike them up! -feel stronger at the gym, and have told I look strong!!! -don’t get “hangry” throughout the day, my body knows I will fuel it properly -funny notion, of not needing to go through the middle isles of the grocery store because all the supportive things are on the perimeter!! -not wanting to snack or have sweet treats!!! | Ashley
| I am sleeping better and am more aware of how sleep impacts my overall health. My pants are getting looser and I’m feeling more comfortable in my body. I’m answering hunger with a meal rather than snacking all day. I’m feeling good about my future, more in control. I’m no longer fearful about the holidays and how to control my eating. I know how I need to exercise to have the greatest impact on my health and am implementing this as much as possible. | Belinda
| 1. I feel more educated about my food choices. Choosing supportive foods is a lot easier for me now! 2. I feel less bloated! No pounds yet but I know that will come! 3. I am not stressed about meal prep anymore! Thank the Lord for Erin's whole chicken advice and the pantry purge! 4. I am sleeping better! Listening to my body has made me a little of a night owl. Feeling rested in the morning is a huge perk! 5. I am more in tune with my body! Who knew!!! | Dayna
| I have found that my mind does not wonder into food thoughts. I used to just absently mindedly think and then feed, randomly. Those thoughts are pretty much gone. We used to just grab take out dinner because we were both tired. Since I have more energy I have had no desire for the quick and unsupportive food we used to get. I have a sense of creativity again, which was certainly lacking. More related to the above answer. I love food and the amazing things that can be created with it, to sustain me in a healthy manner. My sleep has improved dramatically. I’m a night owl and I find I am tired sooner. Maybe it’s just that I’m being mindful of my body and what it’s telling me. When I have a good nights sleep (8+ hours) I feel so much better! I think it helps me mentally. My body image has improved. I have some body dysmorphia and although it’s not entirely gone, I am way more confident in just loving myself, regardless of where the lumps are. | Doug
| No as hungry, not stressing about food, cut back on coffee I like it but not an essential, clothes are still tight and I still feel puffy even tough only eating once or twice a day. very conscious about the ingredients I am using, no crap! | Elaine
| Waking up feeling better rested, I don't have to hit the snooze button a million times Consistently eating a solid, supportive, epic breakfast that fuels my work day Not beating myself up for my GROWN ass Adult decisions Greater ability to avoid unsupportive foods, cravings are nearly gone Have started going back to yoga and incorporating more movement | Heather
| Knowing the difference between my brain telling me I’m hungry and my body actually being hungry! | Janna
| 1. My most noticed and loved non scale victory is my QUALITY sleep! I wake up feeling so well rested. I've been very strict on a 10 pm bedtime and it feels really really great. 2. My stress levels have drastically decreased... because I no longer worry about what to eat or when to eat. I eat foods that I absolutely love which is tough for a picky eater like me. 3. I have no more guilt; no more sweating the small stuff; "cheat meals" or movement. I feel simply at peace with myself. 4. No more bloat 🙌 the inside of my tummy feels normal again and I think I may have forgotten what that even felt like until now! 5. I have more energy! I power through work completely focused. I play with my kids and take them to all of their activities and I enjoy every moment of it all!!! | Jessica
| 1. Replacing the word “bad” with “unsupportive” to describe foods has been huge for me. “Bad” feels so negative and defeating. Unsupportive, somehow feels more...empowering? I can’t really put it in words. It’s just been a really good change for me. 2. It’s definitely easier to stake away from the junky food in the kitchen at work. I know I won’t feel great if I partake and I’d much rather feel good! 3. I sleep well and wake up feeling refreshed and ready to take on the day. No mid-afternoon slump either. 4. Looser fitting pants. Who doesn’t love that?! 5. Feeling like this is a way of life, not a “diet.” It’s deceptively easy. I don’t miss micromanaging/obsessing over food. | Jessica
| I have more energy I have so much less bloating, indigestion and general belly discomfort I am sleeping better My pants are fitting better I feel so much better about myself and I am learning to have a brand new healthy relationship with food. | Jody
| At the outset I’ve commented on one of the post that one of my struggle is having to prepare breakfast, lunch or brunch when at work since I go to work at 5AM. 1. Food Prepping and answering hunger with a big ass meal. Real food not snack. Someone suggested about food prep and I brought it up with my husband since we often end up buying at Whole Foods or restaurants. And since we also have a goal of saving money next to keeping ourselves healthy we have been food prepping for 3 weeks now and I am so thankful for the support of my husband because he really is the one doing all the effort of preparing them on Saturday and Sunday and he really does an amazing job as he loves to cook. And because I have the food ready anytime hunger strikes I just have to answer it with real food and I don’t go snacking. 2. Lift heavy stuff I have always been skinny and sickly. The only time I gained weight was when my 1st husband died and I was jobless, I reached 105. normally I will be around 94-97 I know it’s not much and that 105 should be the normal weight for me at 5 feet but I was loading carbs at that time. Depression and grief combined. I had struggle gaining weight because of my thyroid condition. I always wanted to have a tone body but my extremities are really thin like I have a wrist of 7 year old. I am always scared to do push ups because I feel my wrist arms or elbows might break. Of which I know they won’t but I guess that is where my limiting beliefs lies, that I am always going to be physically weak and meek. And that I will always need my husband’s help to do physical stuff. But deep with in me I want to have a strong body that way I can do more physically and to feel good about it. Know how to defend and survive and at the same time be of help to others. The YouTube you shared on those exercises was helpful. I know I will need a trainer really so I can do them correctly and reach my goal to gain muscle but for now those videos are motivating me to lift heavy stuff and I’m good with that. 3. Online Community I have graduated from PHC this year, and have been slowly building up my space online. I joined the very first program that I ever joined in the health and wellness realm, your program. I already have the knowledge of the primal blueprint but it is a different experience to do it along with other people. And there is more we can learn by experiencing it not just the theory of it, and in learning what others experience as well. I am also member of other online Facebook group all related to PHC but I have not been as engage as I am here. (Although I don’t post as much but learning a lot). Probably because it’s a smaller group and I like to start from there. Big groups kind of intimidate me a little bit (another limiting belief of myself I should work on). Although I don’t post much in the feed I like learning from other people and share my thoughts and opinion now and then. And it’s amazing how you get positive comments and help with the group. I hope one day when my own online coaching flies and I create a group, it will be a supportive one just like this group. Amazing. 4. Sleep - I get off any digital device an hour before I sleep. I have never woken up in the middle of the night and if I do I have no trouble going back to sleep unlike before it takes me an hour or so to fall back to sleep. I actually stopped taking melatonin for 3 weeks now and just do magnesium. But besides those I believe the way I have been eating since I got on this program has been a help of that too. 5. Meditation and Breathing exercise It’s hard to often find a quite time with my busy schedule at work and responsibilities at home. But I believe we owe it to our selves to have some downtime and it’s a good self love practice so I try my best to incorporate that into my daily practice. | Judy May
| Identifying and eliminating some sources of stress, working on getting a better sleep consistently, moving more throughout each day, reinforcing the lessons I learned about food and my body, and taking a little time each day to just be quiet and relax/recharge. | Linda
| I cooked huge meals for others and did not feel like eating it. I waited to feel hunger and then ate a sustaining meal instead. I waited until 3 p.m. yesterday to break my fast. I upped my movement. My clothes fit better. My family members say I look smaller. I sleep better. I am not stressed out anymore. My auto immune illnesses are in check. I feel in control and that I have my power back. | Linda
| 1. No bloating 2. Better sleep 3. Clothes fitting better 4. Less joint pain 5. Less stomach pain | Mandi
| Less "fluffiness" in my body, especially in my tummy. Hearing my body more clearly telling me things I'm eating bother me (ie.excessive sugar = heartburn). Less obsession with food choices. Looser pants/work uniform. Body confidence has increased. | Megan
| A quieter sugar dragon, better sleep, sore knees almost gone, better blood pressure, dizziness gone. | Patricia
| Food is more flavourful, my hunger has diminished a lot, my clothes are fitting better, I have less anxiety even in the midst of stressful situations, I have gained so many tools to deal with any food or exercise dilemma that I may encounter in the future, oh and I made a ton of new friends that are super supportive and have some great ideas (oops, that's 6). | Patty
| 1. Less bloat. I have been able to wear jeans more comfortably than I have in the last few months. 2. Greater concentration 3. Zero "hangriness"/afternoon sugar cravings 4. Higher energy levels 5. I am calmer/more patient, food is not defining my mood or my reaction to other people | Sarah
| I haven’t needed Advil most nights for pains in my legs (which I had been). I cravings have been tamed again. I have learned some areas to refocus on. (Funnel, little bits of unsupportive oils add up!) I have been rethinking “movement” and trying to be conscious about doing it more. I have started to do the four lifting heavy things exercises once a week st the gym and going very fast til I can’t in little intervals on elliptical! | Shannon
| I break fast much later than I used to without having to pigeonhole it as intermittent fasting. I don’t even think about snacking anymore. I eat way more Protein than I used to. I am confident enough now to combine all of your teachings with my way of fueling myself so I’ve been able to combine your great metabolic boosting ways with my smoothies and superfoods ods and began foods. And... there’s no bandwagon to fall off of❤️❤️❤️ | Stacey
| 1) I have become more calm, and less afraid of failure. 2) I realized that I need to take magnesium more often, and since taking it, I eat big handfuls of mixed nuts from Costco a lot less often. 3) I set myself up for success. My office is tidy, and my workspace is pleasant. 4) I contribute to things on Facebook! I have never really taken part in an FB group before. 5) I love you, Erin, for telling me that fruit and potatoes are okay to eat. I am still planning to try giving up dairy for a month. One day. Not soon, though. | Susan
| Compressed window eating easier; lost a couple of pounds; sweets have less of a hold on me; eating real food (just about) all the time!; and enjoying the learning! | Suzanne
| 1. A reminder of how good I felt when I first did this with you. 2. I feel so much better, physically and mentally 3.sleep has become more important and I’m getting such better quality now despite my crazy schedule. 4. My strength has come out of no where!! My classes seem so much easier to get through... for the most part. 5. Decisions are easier made with what goes into my mouth and when. | Teresa
| 1. My language around food has changed drastically 2. I am never hangry - I eat when I’m ready. 3. I have better energy for the day. No more afternoon dips! 4. Not feeling boated all the time. My clothes are not as tight. 5. I listen to my body and recognize when I eat something not supporting me. 6. No more sweet cravings 7. Feeling amazing about the lack of processed food in the house. | Tina
| I don’t feel like a 10 pound sausage in a 2 pound casing I am proud that I don’t beat myself up that it’s okay if I’m not hungry I am sleeping like a queen I am learning to love ... me. Yes, you heard me.... ME I am 💕 | Tracey
| Trying hard not to be so hard on myself, answer hunger with a meal without thinking about it, not micromanaging my food gives me time to reflect in myself, thinking about supportive and non supportive foods, being less tired | Tracy
| 1. I’m not in this alone!! 2. my mood is level than up/down; 3. More energy 4. Better quality sleep 5. Less brain fog | Tracy
| 1. I've started hearing my body and how it responds to food and actually listening to it! 2. I've noticed a change in my gut rot after food, my bowel movements are a lot more consistent (TMI - sorry) 3. I've been able to start exercising in the morning without eating first. 4. I've been the least resistant to giving up grains as I have ever been. 5. I've broadened my horizons in terms of "breakfast" foods. I have always been a person who loves to have the sweeter side of breakfast or the "bready" breakfasts. This was a really hard challenge that I think I have done well on...85% of the time. | Samantha
| During this, my second Reboot experience, my five non-scale victories are deeper than the first time. 1. My mind is healthier. This time around many life things that were beyond my control played out. The type of things that are always a huge stress to anyone. The emotional scale this month was a bit much. Yet, I noticed I had clarity during it. I was able to let it be and just go through it and I am fine. When things happened, I noticed that even though I reacted, I was able to recognize it and understand it more and ultimately was able to transition through it. Before, I would be overly emotional, vent, and over share repeatedly. I had two trusted people who supported me in a healthy way each time and it was empowering. I was actually able to file those things away as dealt with. I feel freed. I really do feel that following the eat.simple rules creates a foundation for peace of mind. 2. I am getting out more. In the past, I would be my worst enemy. My attitude was, I did not like myself so why should anyone else? I over analyzed everything. My poor mind never got a break and I was it's abuser. If I went to a social thing I would appear fine and my husband would tell me it was a wonderful time (so, I had a witness, lol.) But, I never believed. I would think on it at home all night long wondering if I embarrassed myself. I have been able to give myself a break and that sort of dwelling has changed. Hooray! 3. The past four winters I would end up with Pneumonia. Not this winter, even though I had a ton of stress. So good to feel good. 4. I can more readily understand if something I eat is not something that my body wants or needs. I now understand that eating cheese will get my nose stuffy. 5. I have a friendship with my body and mind now. I understand that in time, I will become the best I can be. I feel no need to pressure myself. I can trust this process and let it work. I have stopped cutting myself down. I go by how I feel more than how I look. I have begun a path to freedom from my own self inflicted oppression. Thanks Erin! | Linda
| I am sleeping better and waking up rested before my alarm goes off! (This is HUGE for me!) My skin clearing up and is not as dry. I'm finding it easier to take time for myself every day- a walk, a bath, reading, etc. My brain no longer hits the wall at 3pm! My husband has become more interested in why/what we eat and wants to have discussions about our health/food. | Janiece
| 1) Unsupportive food has lost its charm for me & has become underwhelming. I am more aware of my movement & lack of movement. My intended 15 minute walk when I got home last night about 7:30 turned into a lovely 25 min walk. 3) I am more aware of my evening sleep prep. Being on a mobile device right b4 bed noticeable messes with my ability to get to sleep. Hello candles & a glass of red wine 😊. 4) I discovered an AMAZING chicken salad recipe! 5) I've concocted some dark choc treats that really take care of the sweetness I like to taste once in a while. 6) I've been able to connect with some great ladies &I hope I was equaliy supportive. | Michelle
| I am loving my body, not necessarily how it looks but all that it does for me. It is miraculous. I am feeling way less belly bloat. I am honoring my natural bio rhythms by wearing my blue blockers after sunset and trying to go to sleep and awaken at the same time. My average sleep score is high 80’s low 90’s. I am choosing supportive foods first and that is helping me feel satisfied longer. I am experimenting with intermittent fasting by observing but still listening to my body’s cues. | Christina
| Soooo...I have a spiralizer now... bring on the zucchini spaghetti!!! Ok, non scale successes: 1. Kept to the 85/15 rule 2. Realized I can do just fine on one small meal a day 3. Found out it's dead easy to reset your hunger clock 4. I do fasted workouts at least 4x/wk at work... between walking out to the grain shed, heaving grain and walking back to the store, stocking shelves, unpacking shipments, etc. and don't usually eat until about 5 pm 5. Magnesium has definitely killed my sweet tooth. | Kirsten
| Definitely more energy; figuring out how supportive and unsupportive foods make you feel; thinking about food less during the day-I still do but less, this will take time to reprogram; still needing to fit in more movement-this is something I need to make a priority; sleep is off and on still, but working on the wind down to deal that. | Lori
| Really diminished my bread with butter habit, reduced alcohol cravings, ate more veggies, snacks were protein based, better sleeping!! | Lisa
| I no longer make myself feel badly for not spending my Sunday in the kitchen meal prepping! Being kind to myself even if I have made a choice that doesn’t support my body.....say what!!!! Enjoying simple and powerful movements when my body feels like it (squats, plank....) Sleep is a friggin’ priority! I am being more mindful of when my body has gotten the rest it needs (except when the alarm goes off 😣) or getting to bed early earlier when I can. Being ok with where I am at and who I am. Ok I might have just cried a little! 😭 Learning to focus on my own lane and not be looking over at other people’s lanes and how I perceive them to be thinner, healthier, smarter.... it’s ok to be me and be on the this current path. | Buffy
| I Break fast with protein every day. I don’t snack anymore. My sleep is better. I am meditating every day. To relieve stress I am going to a weekly sauna! | Liz
| The biggest NSV are about my head which is what I feel is my biggest barrier 1. The shift from good and bad to supportive and non supportive. 2. When I slip up isn’t not what I’ve done it’s what I do next that makes a difference. 3. Exercise and learning they more or harder isn’t necessarily better. 4. The huge purge I didn’t and my pantry and fridge remain crap free 5. Grocery shopping and eating is so much easier now, I don’t stress about macros or plating or when to eat | Lisa
| Non scale victories for the 2nd time around are a little tougher. 1: equipped with the knowledge to make educated decisions on what you actually put into your body. 2: feel even stronger. The other night during body flow a move that had been quite challenging for some time almost felt easy. It was an amazing feeling. 3:on vacation at the moment at an all Inclusive and feel good about it. Can’t control everything but not eating how I normally would on vacation. Eating supportive and if I do eat something that is not I don’t feel guilty about it. 4: had a couple obstacles like a dental Procedure done and couldn’t eat exactly How I wanted or work out beyond a walking pace. But not beating myself up about not being able to to move and get out. Got through it and feel good about it!! 5: feel good in my clothes and bathing suits again! All my summer clothes are way looser and it feels great! | Alisha
| Focusing on 3 meals a day as a maximum Reducing and awareness around number of times at the gym NOT to be too exhausted. I haven’t found the magic number yet but every day is NOT the answer Fasting until I am ready to break fast in the morning Grains bring something different in my body like bloating Enjoy food!!! | EMILIE
| 1. I’ve learned to be much more mindful of my food choices and yet spend soooo much less time thinking about food, I know it’s because I’m answering true hunger with satiating nutrient dense food! 2. I don’t wake up thinking about food, and most often don’t break fast until close to noon on most days, this was a hard one to wrap my head around because of years of indoctrinated diet culture! 3. I am the least bloated I’ve been in a long time, I no longer feel stuffed & uncomfortable going to bed at night, I’m sure this helps my sleep quality as well! 4. I know there is no wagon to fall off - this is a lifestyle and when I choose supportive foods I choose feeling better and a life of longevity - I may choose to indulge, enjoy and move on, Erin’s approach truly takes the morality piece away from food which is so refreshing!! Her language is so transformational 5. I feel more at peace with myself - I haven’t lost all the weight I want to, I’m sure my metabolic challenges aren’t all cured but I feel like I’ve learned a lot and I’m moving in the right direction, I’m not scared for the reboot to end I feel ready to keep walking this path! | Hannah
| Pants are fitting a little loser. More energy. Less heartburn and stomach upset. | Roxanne
| This time around, I have not lost weight but I do have several mon scale victories! 1. My hair and nails are growing longer and stronger (a bug win since my hypothyroidism causes both to break when I am not doing well) 2. Huge improvement in sleep quality/duration. 3. Decreased desire for alcohol, a better understanding of how drinking affects me when I do chose to do it. 4. It has been easier and easier to make supportive choices with my food without overthinking it. A few months in I have a good understanding of how different foods affect me and it is easy to say no. 5. I am increasingly better at at communicating with people around me about my food choices. So much easier now to say, hey, you guys can have pizza, but I don't want any, thanks. Turns out no one really cares, and also my family drifts closer and closer to my way of eating. :) | Sarah
| I joines as a first step, tip toe even into changing my mindset from one brainwashed , defeated and ineffective diet culture to one of self care and health , hoping to stop torturing myself psychologically by making every food choice a character judgement. I’d say I have accomplished at least a step or two on that path. My meals are consistently focused on protein and veggies which was previously my norm for lunch but now breakfast and dinner as well. I have noticed that I can go much longer without hunger . I have never been an egg fan, the smell bothers a me but made up my mind to eat eggs w veggies everyday for breakfast this month . I survived and and mostly enjoyed them but def appreciated feeling satisfied and not feeling hungry for 7-8 hours. I gave up miserable heavy duty work outs after suffering consecutive partial tears of my Achilles and haven’t done much exercise but walking and yoga since. So I am thrilled to know with some tweaks in timing and approach I don’t need to feel guilty for avoiding lengthy heavy cardio. I am 51, the last few years of menopause have been a real “b%^*” to be honest . I felt like crap and gained weight. Thanks to HRT and a making a change to a less stressful job I actually feel human and capable of making some healthy choices ; really I just don’t want to count calories , points, carbs, fat grams, eat fake Frankenfoods, drink smoothies, bullet coffee , gritty shakes or green juices. I don’t want to eat “tree bark “ , weigh my food portions or see kale again. I just want to eat to stop hunger , enjoy what I eat and be healthy . It sounds so easy but honestly Erin is the first health guru I have seen with this philosophy. Yes, at some point I want to need new pants but I don’t want to make myself crazy doing it. Another win has been better sleep , for years ( due to hormonal bs) lack of sleep and poor sleep were a miserable pattern for me . I have become more mindful to sleep as a fuel my body and brain need to function optimally , twice this week I went to bed at 8:30 which meant leaving some school work and laundry sitting for another day but so worth it. The way I have abused/ neglected/ mistreated my body over the last 2 decades it is wonder it willing to respond to any changes in eating, sleeping, moving but thankfully it is much smarter and intuitive than the crap my brain has been telling it and adjusting gradually. So thank you for everything and I plan to join Rebooter again ; I listen to the Facebook live during my commute and try to read the emails while blow drying my hair so it had been easy to fit to on my schedule. | Amie
| - I am really listening to my body’s hunger signals and responding with supportive, nutrient dense foods - my sugar cravings have decreased significantly - I am fueling my body with supportive foods, and if I do choose a less supportive food, my body feels it differently than before. I don’t like that feeling in my body (gurgly/sour stomach) and it helps me to choose foods that are better for my body more often. | Jennifer
| My belly hangs down over my thighs less. Really. My midsection is slimmer. I have saved money because I'm no longer buying a giant bag of pistachios and/or macadamias every week. Or Zevia. I was developing a Zevia habit and now that has been classified as a "treat". I have better, more even energy. I learned how to hike in my woods and make it "low and slow" instead of intense and heart pounding hard. I have an even greater appreciation for the miracle that is my body and a greater trust that it will tell me what it wants. I have figured out how dairy and nightshades affect my skin. I CAN and will have JUST one glass of wine many nights (as soon as money resumes its normal flow) I feel completely in touch with my hunger and never at the mercy of it. It's always ok and easy to wait until I feel like putting together a meal to eat. Not snacking frees up a lot of time! Erin validated and refined my beliefs about the role of ketosis, sugar and carbs. I feel VERY educated about how the immune system responds to daily assaults and how insulin resistance happens. From a professional standpoint, I feel much more confident to teach as a Primal Health Coach. I was being held back by not "looking perfect" and now I'm not. My extra fat will be gone when it is and in the meantime, the goal is to feel and BE healthy and strong. I have shifted my thinking from Being light, to FEELING light, because I'm strong and able to easily propel my body where I want it to go, regardless of how much it "weighs". I demonstrated to myself that I could show up every day for (almost) 30 days and not peter out at the end. I became more coachable and less rebellious. On purpose. I could go on, but I don't think you were looking for a novel. | Lauren
| More energetic, less sugar cravings, my shirts fit looser (by quite a bit??), feel empowered over every choice I make, recognizing what unsupportive foods do to my body! | Julie
| Much more confidence understanding and navigating nutrition choices. 2) Ditched the scale and focused on real food choices. 3) Understand fasting so much better and the importance of the first meal. 4) Don’t worry about bad choices with a meal or day of non nutritional eating start again fresh and carry on. 5) Using low aerobic activities and nature walks as a strategy to burn fat. 6) Listen to your body and how it feels after your food choices. 7) Popcorn although I kind of like it, the crunch and all it only gives about a 3-4 out of ten so I think I should also ditch popcorn. Thanks for encouraging that too Erin! | Dave
| 1. I decided to eat 3 fabulous slices of wholewheat seeded bread like a grown ass adult and realised what poison it is to my body. I won't easily do that again. 2. I exercise in bits now, when I feel the need to get up from my desk. 3. I realise that my morning and evening dog walks are great for fat burning and red light exposure, looking forward to that after lockdown ends! 4. I can have favourites like cottage pie once in a while without feeling guilty. 5. I realise that health is a long term project, and losing weight and living healthy does not end in a month or so. | Sharon
| 1. Clothes Fit Looser 2. Sleep Quality Has Improved - Feeling more rested in the mornings 3. Don’t obsess about what I am going to eat next. I just have supportive foods on hand for when I am actually hungry 4. I am nicer to myself. The language I talk to myself in has greatly changed 5. Thyroid meds need to be lowered AGAIN!! This is such a big win for me. I am determined to get my autoimmune condition into remission. | Alyson
| Being more kind to myself is probably my biggest victory, less negativity towards my body for sure! Going 6-8 hours consistently between meals I’m definitely more calm in my mind, more focused A fantastic understanding of the metabolic processes and my contributions to it working and not working and that I control my inputs An awareness of what certain foods do to me when I eat them, understanding the ‘why’ part is huge for me! And my sensitivity to these foods have become heightened! Thank you Erin, I really do feel free from dieting. And that has absolutely changed my life 💕 | Amy
| Eliminated snacking. Now have an epic break fast. I’ve undone several diet culture myths, like eating every 2-3 hours. I’m learning to listen to my body for when to eat. I am paying more attention to how food makes me feel. I rethinking about food as fuel and what works and what doesn’t. | Carla
| First and foremost - I was falling into a pattern of DOING and not necessarily THINKING of what I was eating and drinking. My healthy baseline kept moving in a non supportive way. This program helped me step back and take a fresh (and hard/real) look at things that started to build on each other to create a less then healthy lifestyle - despite being a solidly good eater. Secondly - I re-visited my love of WALKING. I had fallen out of this practice of daily walks in recent years - and this program helped me back to walking. THANK YOU. Thank you for pulling together such a great group of like-minded women. There was more positive energy in that group than I have seen in a very long time....so another NSV for me is being aligned and exposed to some really great women. Thank you, Erin! Have followed you for years and love your approach. | Kathleen
| 1. Pants fit better! 2. Consistent energy. 3. Craving for supportive foods!! 4. My body can speak to me more clearly and I can hear it. 5. I FEEL BETTER!!! No fluffyness, No brainfog, More energy, no more heartburn!!! | Megan
| My biggest victory is making it to day 26. I have not self sabotaged and quit which is amazing. I have 3 days where I did eat unsupportive foods and I really listened to how I felt after but most importantly I didn’t beat myself up for it. My pants are loser. I’m meal planning instead of standing at my fridge foraging out of hunger. I am TRUSTING my body and intuitively listening. I have continued to buy unsupportive foods for my family but haven’t been tempted by most of them. Honouring my body by thinking about how it will feel later has been a motivator. | Jaclyn
| I am becoming less concerned about my next meal and truly enjoying the plate in front of me. I am going to start a 2 week food diary to help keep track of how and what I am eating so I can determine if days when I’m tired it’s truly being tired or food related. Slowly getting my head wrapped around “no wagon “ to fall off of and be okay if I have a non-supportive food choice.the world handy ended and neither has my progress. Realizing just how important a good nights sleep is to keeping my body healthy. Clothes are pretty much the same which I’m okay with. I do see that since I will maintain this eating style that will change for sure. Learning to shift my paradigm into a place of self nourishment and not emotional soothing. That right there is powerful. | Brandi-Lyn
| I haven’t weighed myself in 12 days!!! I have had unsupportive foods and not freaked out about it I prioritize protein in my epic breakfast In the time between waking up and breaking fast I squeeze in a walk I no longer live my life meal to meal, but rather keep my feeding patterns in the background and manage hunger in a simple way. | Trisha
| - I feel stronger - I feel like I HAVE to get exercise - I love feeding my hunger - Meat & veggies, YUM! - My sleep is better than expected (not waking up in the middle of the night) | Suzanne
| 1.I have been more mindful about what hunger feels like in my body. 2. I have prioritized protein when i feel hunger 3. Ive done sprints every week 4. Ive learned to walk more, move throughout my day and add occasional lifting 5. Ive learned to love my body a little extra and embrace slow progress. | Shirley
| The freedom to choose my food. That I enjoy everything I eat. That I believe in myself. That I am enjoying walking. That I am worth taking care of myself. | Carol
| 1. I don’t feel guilty if I have an unsupportive food, I listen to how it made me feel so I know if it’s worthwhile to have again in the future or if it’s totally not worth it. I then move on and choose supportive foods when I’m next hungry. Before I would think ‘well I’ve ruined my day with 3 cookies, or bread etc, I might as well treat myself for the rest of the day’ which would then usually lead to several days or weeks of unsupportive eating. 2. My jeans are doing up easier 3. I’m not obsessing about my next meal 4. I’m not worried about drinking umpteen litres of water a day, which I was always bad at but made some attempt. I’m drinking when I’m thirsty! 5. I’m just feeling like I have a grip on food rather than the other way around and it’s up to me to give my amazing body supportive inputs. | Michelle
| My hunger does not control me. I am enjoying the food I eat. When I have something unsupportive, most of the time I can just move on without the spiral. I am active every day | Liz
| 1.More awareness of my eating habits 2. Remembering to tune into my intuition 3. Confirmation that the way I move is ok 4. Less stress over what I am "supposed" to eat 5. An exploratory and curious approach to my health | Isabella
| 1. Feeling like I have control over how my body feels and that is making decisions that support my body 2. My body feels good- decreased bloat, decreased gas, my fingers and the pain I would experience in my wrists and fingers when I made unsupportive choices is gone and I haven’t had a headaches since starting. 3. Sleep - The quality is so much better and I don’t wake up to pee! 4. I feel like I have a better understanding of how the body works - all the science! 5. Finally feeling like after years of hating my body that I understand it a little bit better and that my body deserves respect. | Lisa
| •Getting up and out for a walk first thing in the morning. •Becoming more aware of my body and being willing to stop and investigate or sit with something -be curious about what caused something or the effect of something. •It’s no longer all or nothing for me -one bad choice doesn’t destroy everything up to this point. •I’ve discovered that the diet/gym culture has a much tighter grasp on me than I realized. •Not letting them scale determine my success •Learning SO much about how my body works. I like the why and really appreciate the detailed information of how our cells and body work! •Realizing that this healing is going to take time and that’s ok! •I deserve this! My body deserves this! | Shayla
| Much better attitude towards myself: way kinder, less mean! Better sleep Have adopted the "anchor on the feeling of success" mentality: instead of dwelling on what foods I can't/shouldn't have, I'm focusing hard on what eating well feels look like and letting that feeling pull me toward the right choices. Focusing on healthy movement, not overexercising: when I work out it's because i want to and I always feel good after, not drained. My jeans still fit, which is saying a lot after being stuck at home during a very stressful time with lots of junk food still in the house. | Sharina
| 1. I have fewer days of stomach pain 2. I am experimenting more with my meat, Shaken’ it up a bit, I find that rewarding 3. I stress WAY less about under eating 4. I can easily go from 5 or 6 pm to 11am before needing to break fast 5. I do not look at any supportive foods as “off limits” for break fast, it’s very liberating! | Jamie
| Change in self-motivation for the better, to move every day Awareness of being hungry & waiting for it. That it’s not going to wreck my blood sugar. I’m not weighing myself every day now, thinking about how I feel instead. Having supportive food in the house to be prepared. Not snacking on garbage! | Shelley
| 1. I’ve noticed my mood overall is more mellow. 2. My cravings have settled down, I no longer have a desire for sugar and I believe my tastes have changed. 3. My husband is fully supportive and we’ve made healthy household changes. | Amanda
| Knowledgeable about oils, confidence in career change, eye opened to black-hole workouts, less snacks. | Natalia
| My craving for nighttime snacks have quieted. Falling asleep at a decent hour is getting way easier. I’ve surprised myself more then once at how quickly my fitness is increasing. I’m finding myself actually a little excited before exercise, because it’s been consistently better then the time before. My Seasonal allergies are way better. My kids mentioned they are sad because my tummy is so much less “jiggley” 😂 | Francis
| 1. My skin is so much clearer and dewy! 2. My house is cleaner, less cluttered 3. I definitely feel myself starting to shrink and be less jiggly and bloated 4. I seem to be less tolerant of things in my life that don't make me feel good about myself (how others treat me, clutter, cleanliness level, negative self talk). It happens still but I put a stop to it in pretty short order 5. I am happier in myself and like me better :) | Amanda
| I have never felt better and I think that’s a huge victory. I am answering to hunger when supportive foods. It was my 40th birthday a couple weeks ago I ate cake and didn’t feel guilty... why cause I made an grown ass adult decision and I remember that just because I had a piece of cake it doesn’t define me as a cake eater it was a special day. I could keep going and going but honestly I am not pay attention if I’ve lost weight ( don’t own a scale) I am solely going by how great I feel!! Thank you | Amanda
| The first thing that I have noticed is my skin has cleared. I was prone to acne, but this seems to have calmed down. It has been a hard time to be fully observant due to the life changes with COVID. Not working, not having a routine, not having to watch the clock, no school, no hassle, has had its benefits. I use to get up, take my thyroid medication and then watch the clock and as soon as I could I would be eating breakfast. Now I am able to wait, each day I am eating at different times, but listening to my body, I am feeding it when it starts speaking to me. I can easily walk before breakfast with the dog (she hates the heat so going early is a real benefit to her and me). Changing my attitude towards "breakfast foods" has been interesting, but refreshing. To be able to eat steak, eggs, chicken etc for breakfast is wonderful! I have noticed that my gut it better. I do not get a swollen tummy now when I eat, turning down pasta, bread and grains has been easy. I do not miss it, and filling my plate with other options has been pleasurable. I have also noticed that I am not as thirsty and not needing to drink as much water as I was before. I was drinking a large amount daily, always feeling "dry" but not now, I am not needing to drink as much. I have had to leave the cookies/pasta/chips etc in the cupboard for the hubby (he is not ready to join me), but I have lost interest in them and I am not pulled towards them at all. I am happy to be able to look past them and have a proper meal. I feel "lighter", not easily agitated by situations, able to look at things a lot clearer. I seem to have more patience. | Catherine
| Better mindset - more mindful when eating and even before eating Less snacking Less carbs in morning and more emphasis on protein Being kinder to myself Not overthinking things | Joe
| First and most important - huge improvement in feeling of well-being. I have more energy, I sleep better, I have "checked back into my life", I have stopped even thinking about snacking, my diet is so much healthier, the whole family is eating more healthily, I am exercising more. I have loved this program so much. Thank you | Leanne
| Have way more energy! Know when I put an unsupportive food in my body that within a few minutes to a couple hours I won’t feel so good. And it’s best just to avoid them as much as possible. Don’t want no gluten brain again! That’s terrible!!! Feel stronger in my workouts. Certain motions that I used to find quite difficult have become so much easier. Feel better in my own skin. Feel like myself again. And I no longer constantly get asked if I’m pregnant. Have done a couple reboots so this may just be over time. But I was constantly getting asked when my baby was due. I have never been pregnant and people continually asking starts to take a toll On the mind. Actually got asked if I’d finally had my baby. But nope just the bloat is gone and feel so much better! | Alisha
| It’s only taken me 3 reboots to realize that *I have in fact retained the information to succeed !! *I’ve realized that it is easy to reimplement supportive habits, say after a vacation , and not feel bad about those choices... you just move on; there is no wagon!! *I really love a good steak no matter the time of day!! *i know it’s lame, but even tho the scale number is not moving this time and means nothing, I am still feeling a change in the way things fit!!! * overall just feeling better and listening to my body more, it knows what it wants!! | Ashley
| 1- I am not thinking about food. Typically, one may think that on a "diet" that's all you would do. And with a diet, and not a lifestyle, that would be correct. But I eat, I go about my day until my body starts to hint at me that it is time for some more fuel. I eat. I relax more. I listen to my body. 2- I think about food. Wait, what? Let me explain- I'm not contradicting myself. When i feel it is time to eat, I am thinking "what will support me for my tasks today?". Not counting and weighing and being, frankly...annoying with my food. I pick healthy fuel. Then I eat. I relax. I listen to my body. 3- I am sleeping better! When I make a decision to eat something unsupportive, I feel it in my sleep that night! When I go to bed supporting myself, I sleep deeper. 4- I am adapting the same food to my family. For us, I am the cook. I have been cooking different. My little children still ask for snacks, and I am ok with that, but it isn't as often! 5- I just feel....whole. What is it from? Weight loss? Maybe! Energy? Probably! Mental health? Think that too! Maybe all of my cups are getting filled a little more! And isn't that a great thing? | Bonnie
| My energy has increased and stabilized. There are no unsupportive foods in my house. My appetite had decreased and I now feel satiated for longer. I am confident that my movement/fitness routine is supportive. I know the difference between my brain having cravings and actual hunger. I know if I do not answer my first hunger epically it leads to over eating later in the day. I have learned that drinking increases my desire to over eat. My husband is on board and has seen lots of non scale victories as well. | Ashley
| 1. I’ve noticed my mood overall is more mellow. 2. My cravings have settled down, I no longer have a desire for sugar and I believe my tastes have changed. 3. My husband is fully supportive and we’ve made healthy household changes. | Amanda
| 1. Incredible reduction in what was chronic inflammation and extreme pain for the last 5 years 2. Much less bloating and distension 3. So much less stressed about how often to eat, what to eat, and what time of day I “should” be eating 4. More stamina and energy throughout the day 5. Feel clearer headed and more able to focus | Quinn
| Less snacking, less bloat, stable energy, less screen time, less binge-y food behaviors (fucking mixed nuts!) | Brandi
| Decreased pain More energy Better sleep Food relationship has improved even more And... I just got my dosage decreased for my thyroid medication. This is huge! To me it is the biggest sign that this way of eating/living is healing my body, slowly but surely. | Sarah
| I am sleeping way better! I have more energy during the day. I don’t need to drink as much coffee because of it :) I’m happier! Just in general. I don’t think about food constantly, worrying about what I “should” eat, or worrying that I “shouldn’t have “ eaten that. I’m also way less bloated. I’m just feeling so so much better, physically, mentally, and emotionally. This month has changed my life! | Étoile
| 1. I can walk 2 miles, before I couldn't even cross the street with out being out of breath and had to sit down. My asthmas is so controlled barely using my inhaler Before I would have to take a nap after.....2. I wore dresses all summer because my jeans were too tight to wear. Now they are falling of my ass. I am not bloated and my stomach does not feel uncomfortable...3. Food no longer has a control of me. I have control of my intake of food. I was eating all the time .Stuffing my self and feelings. I now know when I am no longer hungry and I do not continue to eat when I am not. When I am upset I now do not want to eat. Food seems to have taken a step aside in my life and no longer consume my thoughts all day long....Food now is just there to sustain and enjoy not my entire life. With the knowledge I have food is so simple.... 4. I am not spending a lot of time running to the washroom because of urgency. It is so freeing .This is a real-life changer for me .I can walk where I want with out worrying where a washroom is.... 5. I have so much more energy now .Before I had to sit down just to do the dishes and was tired after. It took me all day to prepare just a roast and vegetables. Now no effort to do things around my home. My biggest victory i can take a walk with my grandaughters. . My life has totally changed around. | Dawn
| Bathroom emergency runs are way less! I was experiencing those a few times a day! I’ve been trying to get into a pair of shorts for awhile. They finally fit! Pain and bloating is a rare occurrence. It used to be daily. Tums are rarely used. I was downing those daily. I have freedom from tracking my food and macros! Plus, I’m trying to stay off the scale. Thank you so much for giving me the tools to identify the foods that were wreaking havoc on my beautiful body! One more thing, I’m loving myself right where I am. It’s a great feeling. | Laurie
| 1- I get out of bed within seconds of my alarm going off rather than scrolling through my social media accounts for 15 minutes. This allows me to relax in the morning, get to school earlier than usual, and feel calm before the madness of the day starts. 2- I am 100% committed to screens off at 9:00. I get ready for bed and read until I'm either too tired to continue, or 10:00, whichever comes first. Happily my bedroom lights are incandescent, so light colour isn't much of an issue. 3- As a result of numbers 1 and 2, I've been feeling more rested and more energetic. Teaching in a pandemic is EXHASUTING, and I've only had two or three days since school started that I've been absolutely wiped. Most days I'm tired (refer to teaching in a pandemic comment), but it's manageable and I don't feel ready to snap. This is huge! 4- I've hit multiple lifting PRs at the gym in the past few weeks. Part of this is being back to up and at 'em at school rather than being so sedentary during quarantine and summer, but part of it is also due to being rested and better fueled. 5- On my walk this morning, I noticed that my leg shadow looked leaner than it did a few weeks ago, specifically in the thigh. I haven't noticed a big change in my pants, but then again, I haven't really worn real pants for the last six months so...anything's possible! | Jessica
| The internal struggles I’ve had with failing on all the the diets I’ve been on seems to be a thing of the past. I eat to honour and fuel my body now and I don’t look look at it as restricting food intake. If anything it’s now about abundance and supporting!! How cool is that?!? | Erika
| Higher levels of motivation Freedom from food fixation Drive to get work done A lot more non-exercise movement Community! Supportive language around food and choices | Natalia
| The biggest NSV for me this reboot is finally getting back to the activity level I enjoy. For the past 4 years I struggled with back pain and tried just about everything and spent a fortune on physical therapy to try and heal it, nothing worked. Until I gave up grains and dairy. Who knew, such a simple diet modification would change my life so dramatically!! The back pain itself was never debilitating, but not being able to perform my favorite activities, (including running with my daughter, chasing her, climbing and swinging from the monkey bars with her, and CrossFit) caused a pretty terrible depression. I feel so free and liberated now knowing that I can actually control how my body feels. This is better than any scale victory. Thank you Erin!!!! | Trisha
| 1. More energy. I have enough energy to get up early and walk before I start my day. I can get through the day and week without dragging my ass. 2. More time. Not prepping food, weighing food, counting food, planning food. You get the idea! 3. A sense of calm. It’s hard to explain but I just feel more calm and at peace. 4. More positive thoughts/feelings about my body. Less negative self talk and no feelings of failure. 5. My fitbit keeps needing to be tightened! | Danielle
| Less bloating, 7lb weight loss, more energy, less joint pain. Love of my body for where it’s at today ❤️ | Alli
| Étoile
| Forgiving myself for being me. Letting myself be ok with not having to track every morsel of food I put in my mouth and realize I can be successful. Waking up for the last 2 weeks before my alarm! | Jill |
