You may have a goldmine of Potential Referral Partners & Clients. Use this Google Sheet to organize your outreach before moving people into your Pipeline.

STEP 1 // MAKE A COPY OF THIS GOOGLE SHEET

1.1 Click on File in the top menu >> Select Make a copy

STEP 2 // ORGANIZE THE PLATFORMS

2.1 Delete the tabs for all platforms you don't use (Right click on tab name at the bottom >> delete)

2.2 Rank the platforms from most promising to least promising. The most promising Contact List is the one you use the most and have the most contacts in.

2.3 Move the tabs at the bottom of this sheet so your most promising "contact list" is the first tab, the next most promising "contact list" is the second tab, etc.
Until all the tabs are in order from most promising (left) to least promising (right).
(Left click on tab name >> move tab to left or right)

STEP 3 // TRANSFER YOUR CONTACTS

3.1 Transfer your most promising Contact List first. (We'll come back to the other platforms in Step 6.)

Click on your most promising Contact List and transfer all of the names from that contact list to Column A of the tab.
You can either export your contacts or manually transfer them.

Manual Transfer >> Adding your contacts, one at a time, will allow you to appreciate all the people you’ve connected with and all the potential you have.
(If you really don't like someone, don't add them to your list.) Otherwise, add EVERYONE from that contact list to this Temporary Contact List.

Export Contacts >> Go to Youtube or Google and search "How to export contacts from _____(platform) to a google sheet."
If you don't like someone you can remove their name.

STEP 4 // CHOOSE A CATEGORY FOR EACH CONTACT

4.1 For each Contact, choose one of the 3 categories from the drop-down menu
1. Potential Referrals
People you like that know who you are. You do NOT want them as a client. (Eg., your mom is not a potential client but might be a potential referral partner.)
2. Potential Clients
People you like that know who you are. You'd be happy to have them as a client. If someone is a potential client AND a potential referral partner, label them
Potential Client. (The "Private Message to Book Consults" Template, will help you determine whether they're a potential client or referral partner.
3. Haven’t Met Yet
People who seem like they could be potential clients or referral partners (but you haven’t met yet).

STEP 5 // SORT YOUR CONTACTS BY CATEGORY

Once you've categorized all your contacts, you can sort them, so all of the people in the 3 categories in 4.1 will be grouped together.

5.1 Right-Click the B (at the top of Column B.) This should highlight the column and present a drop-down menu. Click on Sort Sheet Z-A.

STEP 6 // REACH OUT TO EVERYONE ON YOUR MOST PROMISING CONTACT LIST

6.1 Reach Out to ALL of your People on this Contact List
We recommend reaching out to the people in your Contact List in the order they're in. That will help you do a thorough job of reaching out to them.

Reach out to Potential Clients with this template.
Reach out to Potential Referral Partners with this template.
Reach out to People You Haven't Met Yet with this template.

6.2 Track Your People
1. Positive Response from Potential Client?
a. Add their name & contact info to your Amazing Potential Clients Pipeline in Thrive Machine.
b. Choose Yes in column F
2. Positive Response from Potential Referral Partner?
a. Add their name & contact info to your Referrals and JV's Pipeline in Thrive Machine.
b. Choose Yes in column F
3. Not a Potential Client or Referral Partner?
Choose No in column F. There is no reason to reach out again.

STEP 7 // REPEAT THIS PROCESS FOR ALL CONTACT LISTS

7.1 Repeat Steps 3-6
Repeat steps 3-6 on this sheet with your second most promising contact list, then the third, etc. You'll get more masterful with each person.

7.2 Continue until you have a Yes or No in Column F for ALL contacts in ALL Contact Lists.
At that time, you'll no longer need this Temporary Contact List. The Thrive Machine Pipelines can take over to help you manage your people beautifully.
