5/31/2025I have been a member of Clements Interact since 10th grade and am the president of Clements Interact this school year. I joined Clements Mental Health Club since 10th grade, was the outreach historian in 11th grade, and I am the co-president this school year. Our club focuses on reducing mental health stigma on campus by providing educational tools and stress-reducing activities for students. I have been a member of Clements Best Buds since 11th grade. We promote inclusivity by partnering with the special educational department and hosting socials during lunchtime. I am also part of Clements National Honors Society and do community service with NHS in addition to Interact.Clements High SchoolI have applied to University of Houston, Texas A&M, Baylor University, University of California (UCLA, UCSB, UCI), Georgetown University, Duke University, and University of Notre Dame. I am yet to hear back from all of these schools and am currently unsure of where I will enroll in the fall.Throughout my involvement with Rotary Interact, my favorite projects have been Sole Loved and Toys for Tots. I have really enjoyed the opportunity to participate in direct community service by helping children and teenagers find shoes they love for the new school year, playing with children while their parents select toys for them during the holidays, or carrying the toys and helping parents make their selections. While I have also enjoyed participating in various Interact sponsored food, clothing, and toy drives, these projects were the most impactful to be because I was able to speak to those I was helping, get to know them, and directly see how our efforts as a club positively affected their lives. Outside of Interact, I enjoy volunteering at the Houston Food Bank on Saturday mornings. I help with food sorting, cleaning, and packaging as well as other seasonal service projects sponsored by the food bank, including packaging donated school supplies for elementary/middle school students. Travis High SchoolBaylor The project I enjoyed the most would be the 5k Running with a Heart because it allowed me to get to know other people involved with rotary and understand their reasons for participating in such an event. Understanding the backgrounds people came from and their reasons for wanting to push themselves by running this 5k took me back to my reasons for wanting to be apart of Interact/Rotary. It’s not very often you can interact with the people you try to help, so being given the opportunity to do that helped me be proud of the organization I’m in and only want to help out even more.Yes, interact is actually what got me interested in community service and what pushed me to get more involved. Currently I have helped with picking up trash from the yards of our school, decorating and servicing events at churches, and sorting canned food from a canned food drive. I hope in the future I can help volunteer more in hospitals since that’s the industry I hope to be in.My mother’s name is Lynn Perry and my father’s name is Robert Perry.2814149482Lrperryus@gmail.com

I took away core memories from each one of those projects, with not only the best team around, but seeing the impact giving back had, right in front of me. The crowds at the 5k run despite the flooded roads and the pouring rain, and we still ran it together united for the better good of those affected by the SHANK3 gene. The dogs, who came from broken homes, who got to see love the right way with a bunch of loving teenagers and some even finding new homes thanks to the help of our promotion. And finally, the shelter bags that we took hours to create, each individually tailored to the needs of men, women, and children, entire boxes filled that met the needs of over 200 individuals and gave hope to those going through hard times. Those experiences, I saw firsthand the impact our hard work can create and the communities it brings together. Because of those experiences, I have and will continue to go out of my way to volunteer for community service, because it has opened my eyes to the wonderful potential we can have as one when we all come together on a united front.I do, I volunteer for Junior Achievement in partnership with student council to mentor elementary students about future career potential, responsibilities, and financial literacy. Moreover, I did a program called PALS where we would mentor and build a connection with individual elementary students (struggling with behavior, learning, or engagement), to allow them to have an outlet and foster better habits and change together. I also participate in AMBUSH that works to unite our school and every year we introduce the new freshman around school to make them feel welcomed and answer any questions they may be too scared to ask just anyone about high school. Futhermore, I help with set ups and ticket stands for student council and my honor societys, working events like baseball games, charity events, and school events. Finally, I'm looking to volunteer with my job at HEB in March who will be planting more trees around the greater Hosuton Area.Glenda Martinez832-466-8168

I am very involved in extracurriculars that strengthen my leadership, communication, and performance skills. I serve as an Anchor and Producer for Clements TV (CTV), where I write scripts, film, edit, and deliver broadcasts while building strong on-camera confidence and teamwork skills in a newsroom environment. I also participate in NJROTC, where I’ve held leadership roles (including unit staff responsibilities) and contributed to service initiatives and team-based leadership training. In addition, I am active in theater, dance, and music, including performing in multiple productions and earning long-term training in classical vocal music and dance. These activities have shaped my discipline, stage presence, collaboration skills, and ability to communicate clearly in high-pressure settings.Mitu RayJotform pdf of application5999951
