Baseball Set up cones and label on the cones the position and # of the position or just the position works too. Here are the positions: Pitcher (1), Catcher (2), 1st base (3), 2nd base(4), SS (6), 3rd base(6), LF (7), CF (8), RF (9) so all (orange cones) are labeled with positions. Get a scoresheet from a baseball coach or online and have the student make up a lineup handwriting or you can use a computer to assist them. Set up the field in a gym or outside (the gym works better or whatever indoor space you use) by placing the orange cones like the players are set up in a baseball game. Then on the outside of the field use 4 different colored cones(if you have some) to place at certain spots to indicate a single, double, triple or homerun. (I usually put single (by the pitcher, double, behind 1st base, triple in right field and homerun beyond right field) you can modify by students abilities. Then you can use a batting tee (or pitch if the student if able to hit a pitched ball) have the student hit the ball and see where it goes and then record either an out or a hit on the score sheet. If the student is unable to write you can have them tell you what happened on the field and you can record it on the sheet. It has been a very fun game for my student.
