|TEMPLATE: Industry Event & Conference Tracker|
|Event Name||Event Score||Notes/Status||Start Date||End Date||Location||Submission Deadline||Event Overview||Attendees||Conference Tracks||Media Presence||Confirmed or Past Speakers||Cost||Contact(s)|
|Write the event name, and link to the event page so you can easily access the event site||Optional column, this will aggregate your score from each area that you rank. If you choose to keep this column, you will list your event name in two rows, one of which will just be your scores for whichever areas you rank.|
If you choose to score events, create a scoring guide to explain what differentiates each score and the criteria most important to your team. For example, an event with no media presence could still get a 5 in that category if your team does not prioritize media engagements.
|Use this to show where the opportunity stands, including your proposed speaker(s) and/or attendee(s), plus who from your team is overseeing the opportunity||This stays as its own column so you can easily filter by start date||Optional, but helpful to know how long a conference lasts||Be consistent in your naming on locations so you can easily sort/filter||We recommend sorting by this column so you can see what opportunities are about to pass||Pull a description from the event site||Highlight the approximate number of attendees, as well as their sample job titles||List any areas of focus for the conference||Note if media typically attends or covers the event, as well as if any media members hold a speaking role at the event (i.e. moderate a panel)||List any confirmed speakers for the current year or cite speakers from past conferences that are relevant for your company or proposed spokesperson. Focus on speaker title and company, and bonus points if you include details on their talking track|
This should not be a laundry list of every speaker, but a selected group of 3-5 that demonstrate why your company should also be at this conference.
|Detail anything known about the event cost, including speaking submission fees, conference access, or sponsorship costs. If possible, link to a conference webpage with these details.||List the name and contact information for any event organizers.|
