The photos are the mount installed correctly. I first mounted it as anyone would with the arm pointing parallel to ground But when I did that I could not see much of the phone as the steering wheel obstructed the view. I then had to remove and reinstall. That was not easy since the adhesive is 3M VHB. That adhesive is insanely strong and meant to be permanent. I removed it with a plastic scraper and solvent without damaging my car. Then I used a 3M command strip as adhesive. That should be secure but much more easily removed. B08ZNDNMD3Recommendお勧めI really like this for my work/homework laptop. I have a Google chrome book and it sticks well. Few pointers though. For one I’d make sure you’re sticking it far enough inward that your phone doesn’t stick out awkwardly (unlike mine that sticks out awkwardly). Then I would also make sure you apply pressure for a few minutes to the ring that goes on the back of your phone so it adheres correctly (also unlike mine). I ended up having to put my phone case on and run with it like that for a few days for the ring to fully stick. Not the products fault, just my busy life. I’m pretty sure Thanos couldn’t pull this ring off now. Lastly, it won’t go over phone cases that don’t have a smooth backing so I’d pay attention to that as well. Though if you don’t have a smooth backing and it’s not too much of a pain to take your case off (mines broke it basically falls off) it will still work perfectly. I simply peel my case off and my phone goes right on it. Over all I don’t regret this purchase and have enjoyed having it as my courses can run on my phone while I take notes and don’t have to swap tabs. The bracket is relatively thin, but would require a lot of force to bend or break. The adhesion to my laptop surface is almost ridiculous. Like almost verging on being a problem lol, I’m not sure how I’d remove the bracket because it’s too strong.

Ultimately, I don’t use it as often as I thought. I might use it more if the bracket arm had been a little longer so that I could mount my phone in landscape, but I’m not sure if it’s long enough, currently. I have a couple of other magnetic phone mounts that the diameter of the magnet is to small for the weight of my iphone 12 Pro Max. Also the rubber used on the magnet would keep on slipping off. This is a much better product with a 3x to 4x size diameter magnet and is much stronger than the other product that I have.
