Dollar UpKevin Bachmannhttps://drive.google.com/open?id=0B0wjG7zv4JfTYzJ2Q2tHSktTVlkA song for making purchases and being able to idetify when it is appropriate to round up to the nearest dollar amount. For this song I use a dry erase board and write down the cost of items. I will then have the student identify the cost of the item they want to purchase. Following this I will lay out money and have my students identify how much they have and whether or not this is enough money to purchase the item they have selected. "Do you have enough? Or do you need to dollar up?" For data collection, I am tracking: can the student identify the cost of the item, can they identify if they have enough/need to dollar up, do they hand the cashier the correct amount of money.
