Katie
- give our moms a volunteer position that is not serious (maybe pin flowers)
- only one photographer
- more clear with expectations of photographs & social media expectations
- social media ... update every hour on the story - instagram post with pictures at the beginning and the end
- photos .... photo of each boat on the water (row2k quality) .... share them in an online format that we can share with other teams
- be more clear about the 2k course with novices - have a more obvious start and directions in the morning meeting
- canoe event improvement .... give an explanation at the morning meeting, two canoes - while 1st one is being used, the 2nd one is getting loaded so it's continuous. Need teams to be ready at the dock when the event starts
- launching boats - make sure there aren't chairs on the beach (need enough room for boats to walk to open spot)
- iron on table at the power, make announcement at mornign meeting so people know where it is

Scott
- music was great, be aware of volume so people can communicate with the boats they're carrying
- make bow numbers 1-60 or whatever so you can have coaches pick up all the bow cards at the beginning
- porta john rentals for bathrooms (two or three for the numbes that we had)
- parking people need to be there when the gate opens at 7 (I got there at 6:15 and was the second person)
- would be nice to have a second boat at the start - or have a fixed starter person on land so the boat can go back into the cove and help get the boats lined up in order
- two people starting and finishing works (one to make the call, the other to record times)
- would be nice to get a group picture at the morning meeting before the minute of silence
- arrange whalers to be transported by poeple other than Scott

Course Setup
- we loaded the trailer at Higgins on Wednesday and dropped the course Thursday - then ran in Friday ... that worked well
- had planned one buoy every 1,000m and needed one every 500m to see it
- concrete anchors & dog leash ropes worked
- need 13 buoys total

Spectators on the Water
- 5 boats with volunteer drivers - pontoon ideal - people sign up to watch either the first race or second from a fixed location so we don't wake people
- 5 boats with 10 ppl each x 2 races = 100 people on the water

Race Schedule Format
- change so it reads top to bottom completely instead of left to right and top to bottom .... so it looks like the results

Time
- overall the event ran on time - we finished 10 minutes late with the canoe event running long
- 4k row to the start, longest boat seemed to take 30 minutes
