University Project Budget: This is the budget for the project implementation, should your team win the $100,000 prize. This money will be distributed in one sum to the university. The winning team's university will distribute the funds. In addition to the budget, the team must submit a letter of intent from the university. $25,000 of this money will be distributed to the students and faculty as the university sees fit. No more than 10% or $10,000 may be used for Facilities and Administration (F&A) costs.

Community Partner Project Budget: This is the $50,000 budget for the community partner's project implementation, should your team win. This money will be distributed directly to the community partner. No more than 10% or $5,000 may be used for Facilities and Administration (F&A) costs.

Team Roles & RACI Definition: RACI is an acronym that stands for Roles, Accountable, Consulted, and Informed. Using the Team Roles sheet, identify each team member's role for the project tasks.

Project Timeline: Provide an estimate of dates for the project tasks, milestones, and deliverables. Additionally, identify the responsible team member for each task.

University Letter of Intent: This is a guide for the college or university letter of intent. Please locate the template in the OpenWater Ten Across Portal under the Resources tab. In order to be eligible for the Grand Prize Award, this letter must be signed and dated by a university administrator who is authorized to accept payment and distribute funds on behalf of your home university or college. Please upload this document in your submission following this Project Plan and Budget.
