Chronic Absence Rate

This report includes the chronic absence rate at both the district and school-levels. Data is available for School Year 2021-2022 and after. The chronic absence rate is the percentage of students who missed 10% or more enrolled days for any reason, including excused and unexcused absences as well as suspensions, at a school or in the district in a specific school year.

The report also contains breakdowns by Economic Disadvantage, English Learner Status, Gender, Grade Level, IEP Status, Race/Ethnicity, and Temporary Living Situation Status.

#StudentsDenominator for the Chronic Absence Rate (%): The total number of students with 11 or more membership days at the school or district in grades PreK-12.
