Get the staff lounge ready and help prep the staff for the weekPlease check with the office to avoid times of the day when there is heavy use of the loungeChocolates should be bite-size, individually wrapped, no nuts. They will be taped to the notes that welcome staff to the week. Please deliver all items to the Media Center by 7:20 A.M. Coordinator sends email reminders, makes sure the event runs smoothly, and sends email thank you's.Each staff member gets to choose a home baked pie from a lovely spread that parents make. We make sweet pies as a treat, and we also make savory pies that they can take home as dinner. It's a wonderful way to show our appreciation! You can bring your pies before school or send them with your kids. Alexia will be watching for contributions by the office that morning. At 2pm, we bring the pies out to the media center and arrange them on the tables. If you're free at pick up on Wednesday, you should come in and see how lovely the pies look in the media center and how excited the teachers get--it's so fun!Coordinator sends email reminders, makes sure the event runs smoothly, and sends email thank you's.Please bring your luncheon donations to the staff lounge by 10:45. Thank you! Please have food ready to serve. Also, please have serving dishes and serving utensils with your dish, and LABEL every piece. Thank you!!If you want to volunteer your skills, let me know. Shannon Zager lives in the neighborhood, has a 4 year old boy, potential panda in the future. She is in private practice and also works at my office.Coordinator will set up the bulletin board, note paper, pencils, and push pins. Throughout the week--Mike's class will monitor the table with note paper and a pen, under the bulletin board outside the Staff Lounge.Would you like to play background music during the staff luncheon on Thursday? Staff will be coming and going, and it is just nice to have live music playing while they come in and out.
