| A joint event with BUZZR will see ONE HUNDRED new episodes, one a day, on the two channels -- BUZZR at 5 PM Eastern, the streaming services at 7.
| The event will take place over eighteen weeks and will involve weekend repeats after the first five weeks, according to the BUZZR Instagram post which announced it on September 15, 2025. Late September through the end of January, 2026.
| Two interesting notes regarding this new drop: One, it will represent the first HD episodes on the streaming services, and, second, we will jump from Season 14 to Season 17.

| 2025-09-29 | 5 PM/7 PM | 7001D | No | With one exception (7182D), according to Wayoshi, all lineups are known. | The drop starts about six weeks into Season 17. | Research before the drop indicates this episode may also have been the last to tape before the 1988 Summer break. Contestant #2 Anthony is an exuberant man who takes a bow upon making it to CR. And Contestant #4 Evangelina is not only taking the long way around, she then makes contact with Anthony. Kyle Aletter is subbing in at this point after Janice had a recent accident. PG#1: Evangelina wins up, mugs two contestants, and has to be pushed by them to head to her pricing game! MGHSH for the truck. And she jumps up and down some more, avoiding the El Cheapo trap on her final pick for the Front and Back Trick for a new truck. IUFB#2: Seems a lot of people want to get along with Anthony, as Contestant #5 Evelyn hugs him. PG#2: No car attempt for Fred, it's the Great Plunko Bait And Switch! Four chips: 500-1000-1000-0=2500 IUFB#3: Contestant #6 Sonya wins CLANGERS, not Evelyn with her $1 bid third. Some charades aid in the victory. SCSD#1: And then she gets booed for not getting the wheel all the way around. The other two spin off. And Fred grabs a grand in the spin-off! And it sounds like the ticket plugs will be edited from this drop. IUFB#4: Bob is finally noticing Anthony is acting as a guide in CR... Anthony nearly Makes Friends with Contestant #7 Laura bidding second, and she swats him! Some bid confusion by Bob. PG#4: Bob brings substitute model Kyle out to throw to halftime after a solid first half! PG#5: And Anthony finally wins up after Evelyn tries to Make Friends (with Laura, no swat this time) and fails. Changes the 6 to a 9 for 8790. And he shouldn't have. No car, no gifts. Before IUFB#6: Chat with an on-camera Rod Roddy, who's losing a few pounds. Normal suit for Roddy today. Models playing with the Card Game cards on the card table up for bids. PG#6: And Laura wins up, a former checker at a grocery store! Whistles for Holly in a towel in the spa being offered. And the knowledge from her former job gets her the victory! SCSD#2: And Anthony's troubles continue: He gets booed! And the Wheel remembered, he went over by a nickel. SC#1: Starcrossed Passcase. TV, Living Room with carpet, Grand Piano Grand Prize. Fred gets passed to him by TW Laura, someone will win -- he bids only $5500. SC#2: All-American Showcase. Trips to Key West, New York, and San Francisco (chained), along with a Dolphin MOTORHOME!!!! She blows it by not getting close to the motorhome, Fred wins, neither that close. Long credits.
| 2025-09-30 | 5 PM/7 PM | 7002D | No | Everyone is in a good mood at being picked at open, hugs all around. Bob notes the taping day is quite hot, and the people love the air conditioning. (see note) IUFB#1: Models with chef hats for the microwave range. PG#1: After Bumping, Dian says she was well-rested from her vacation. Too bad the contestant should've had Kyle bumping instead. IUFB#2: Contestant #5 Ruby continues the good mood -- dancing her way into CR. Bob notes the unusual harp as an IUFB. PG#2: William Makes Friends and wins up. PG#2: A Cadillac Sedan DeVille for 3X+. And William comes from WAY BEHIND to win it -- five draws with two strikes! ($24,078) PG#3: Contestant does not know how to price rubber gloves. SCSD#1: Wheel is tight, but Cara should've seen that. She got booed. William on his way to a big total if he can win the Showcase. PG#4: Michael knew how to play Race Game... IUFB#5: Ruby has lost her way the last couple of IUFB, and is taking forever! And after all that, she Makes Friends second... and does not win up. PG#5: The contestant (Anne-Marie) says please, and gets a car on the first attempt through as a result! One of the Discord viewers found a newspaper clipping of her win. (Which completely butchers the name of the game she won the car on!) Pre-IUFB#6: Rod shown with a red shirt and a shiny green vest which Bob claims Rod bought on vacation in Bangkok -- but wonders where the sleeves are! (Home Viewer Showcase exposition episodes air fairly soon.) PG#6: Contestant #9 Paulette wins up, and 3-for-3's Give or Keep. Rare all-male Showcase round. TW William, RU Michael. SC#1: The Ultimate Fishing Trip, with echo! Ob Fishing Boat. Subverted as Grand Prize with a Jeep Cherokee to pull it! William bids $22,700. SC#2: Splendido Bedroom Second. And a car in this one too -- a Chevy Corsica Sedan. So a FOUR-CAR SHOW today! And Michael wins when they cheap out on the fishing boat/Vancouver trip/gear/Jeep Showcase. And we find out in the end that Ruby might've taken even longer than planned, the show was edited!
| 2025-10-01 | 5 PM/7 PM | 7004D | No | More tourists, more sunburned noses. PG#1: Contestant Charles wants to quit his job. And Charles explains Check Game perfectly! He didn't quite surmise the price of the wine closet, however. PG#2: Shanne tries to Make Friends, does not win up. PG#3: And does so again with the three ounces of gold, wins that. Car is Chevy Sprint Hatchback Coupe. ($7140) Wins a $695 rocker instead. At least avoided the case of OINK. SCSD#1: And Charles can take a day or two off work: He's got a grand! And make it a full vacation: FIVE MORE IN THE BONUS SPIN! Bob (after noting Charles says he DOES want to quit work!) actually starts into the ticket plug, but, of course, the actual plugs are edited because the address is years out of date. PG#4: Draws: Three nines (off the sofa alone, the range was junk at 830) Keeps the three nines. Other Hand: Fives full of nines. Eileen cringing at her fate sends us to halftime. Before IUFB#5: A commercial-break discussion of Poker Game has three audience invitations for Bob to come over to play poker. PG#5: Juanita tries to Make Friends, Contestant #8 Linda wins up. And it's the first TBE playing of Pathfinder, with a Jeep Wrangler on the line. ($12315) Linda has one number left with one remaining chance and knowing she has the win if she's right, and she is!!! A couple Discord viewers noted the Dice Game nature of the price. Pre-IUFB#6: And more Fashion with Rod: Brown shirt, gold with blue striped jacket over. IUFB on CHUGGS. PG#6: And Manny was not counseled well by the audience. Another all-male Showcase round: TW Charles, RU Manny/Manuel. SC#1: Main Street. Mini-sportboat Grand Prize. Charles passes to Manny. SC#2: Guide To The Perfect Wedding. Rings, tuxedo and wedding gown (Rod looks dashing in the former, wolf-whistles for Dian in the dress!!!), trip to Bermuda, and the wedding gift, a Buick Skylark Sedan! Audience member though Manny was over, he was not and almost won them both!!!
| 2025-10-02 | 5 PM/7 PM | 7005D | No | Discord notes a rarity: Today's lineup can be played in 2025! PG#1: Today's social-media clip is the pirate-ship bunk bed refusing to close! Several male perverts in the audience have fantasies of lashing the model to the mast thereof! Model chat after as the bunk bed opens as Dian releases herself. Talking to Kyle and explaining Janice's absence. (Shoulder surgery after an on-stage fall. Should be back in about two further weeks.) Dian with an innocent little remark, and Bob doesn't want to talk to Holly, so Holly throws to commercial! PG#2: 1 key. And finds the dud with it. PG#4: Audience, in seeing a chest that they try to give away in Clock, gets on Dian about hers!!! !cancelaudience IUFB#5: Contestant #8 Brenda, who needed to take all of two steps, is noted to look like Oprah Winfrey. PG#5: And, as often happens, an all-overbid is followed by CLANGERS, Cathy wins up and southpaws the stairs. Nissan Sentra SE in L7. Very quickly lost. Pre-IUFB#6: Toenail surgery for Rod in Thailand, which somehow led to a proclamation of Mr. Roddy as an ambassador of a small region in Thailand. "The sash is in the mail" -- which Bob, as a former host of beauty pageants, has heard before! (see note) PG#6: Two of the worst low-end picks I've seen in the game. SCSD#2: And another round of boos ring out as Katherine can't get the wheel all the way around. SC#1: How the models work out. Models in leotards get wolf-whistles. Cruise of Alaska Grand Prize. TW Milton passes to RU Cathy. SC#2: What the models do after working out. Dian wants to show off her tummy in a two-piece bikini in Mexico, to more wolf-whistles. Ski boat Grand Prize. TW Milton barely wins it in a close decision. Long credits.
| 2025-10-03 | 5 PM/7 PM | 7011D | No | Halloween 1988 Episode. IUFB#1: Kyle in the showgirl outfit for the trip to Las Vegas and the Hilton therein. PG#1: Contestant Tamara from Nebraska is here for her brother's wedding. Since WHEN has there been a "combination" prize in Safe at $230??? PG#2: Naomi and Carl both try to Make Friends, Naomi second. Carl wins up, however. Mercury Tracer. Bob notes the difference between the 2's and 3's in the Chevy Vegas of the half-hour shows and the 9 at the start of the Mercury Tracer. ($9,175) Appropriately, freezing on the strike before going to commercial. PG#3: David Makes Friends and wins up. Bob flusters Rod during the grocery copy by egging him on. Time difference is only about 1 year and ten or eleven months! Three 0/3 first halves in a row for them. SCSD#1: Carl stops on 55 and is immediately dispatched. (Chance of winning about 1 in 16.) Tamara stops on 60 (even second spinner, chance of winning about 1 in 3), and David basically auto-wins with a 95. PG#4: And Bob is flummoxed after yet another 0/4 start! Before IUFB#5: Something about the postcards for the Phone Home Game got cut. PG#5: All four punches, then a light bulb explodes: 100-1000. Bails on the grand. Other two were 500 and 50. Before IUFB#6: Rod has lost 20 pounds in the first week of new tapings, and looks good in his green and black striped jacket. Bob fawns at the doggy in the Pet Adoption Segment. PG#6: And saved at the death on the Sudden Death pick. But the third consecutive 1/6 episode to end October of 1988!!! SC#1: Shades of Red, meaning ObSwimsuits. A red grand piano is followed by a red Ford Mustang Convertible which fumbles Rod slightly. TW David bids, audience DID NOT like. SC#2: ERITH, and a very quick throw on of the outfits over the swimsuits. No mention of Halloween at all. Audience was right, Naomi wins the ERITH.
| 2025-10-04 | 5 PM/7 PM | 7012D | No | Start of 1988 November sweeps period. At least a Silver Star Episode. IUFB#1: Holly is a plug item short, so she has it tossed to her, Bob compliments, and shows the off-camera staffer who tossed it to her, and has them demonstrate again, to perfection! PG#1: Contestant #4 Sophia Makes Friends, does not win up. (Or does she???) Contestant #2 Mary is too slow for Bob's liking. First first-half win in four shows! Pre-IUFB#2: WAIT A SECOND!! A mis-hear of Sophia's bid means she SHOULD HAVE won up by Making Friends. (It did appear as if Sophia wanted to correct Bob.) This creates a rare DOUBLE TECHNICAL WIN. Mary still wins her prizes, but is replaced back into Contestant's Row. Sophia is also given the Technical Win in Most Expensive, so both of them receive the three prizes. (See note -- and video of the incident, posted November 24, 2025) PG#2: And The Price Is Mary continues, she comes up on stage AGAIN!!! This time, for a Subaru GL Wagon worth $10,541. Inspiration: Drains it! Mary says she never saw Bob hit a putt! (And gets chided for that obviously.) Putt: Doesn't even get two lines, but we are now in the two-try era. Second Putt: LOOK OUT!!! Well, at least she won Most Expensive for herself and Sophia! IUFB#3: And it's evident the rest of the contestants are having trouble in CR: This one is a double-all-overbid. SCSD#1: And The Price Is Mary continues! She wins her way to the Showcase. (We think.) PG#4: 31252 in Squeeze. Guess what happened. IUFB#5: And another rarity: Four men in Contestant's Row. Frank is a little too tall for Bob's noting of the various heights of the other three, though. PG#5: Joseph Makes Friends, the slightly-shorter Mark wins up. And it takes him four tries and two Zero Rule Violations to win the $20 phone! Oh freaking forget it! Do you even watch the show, Mark??? He finally wins the second prize, but takes so many Zero Rule violations, it's on Chance #10! Pre-IUFB#6: Shiny pink jacket for Rod, who's warned to call for a woman. And he does! Bob chides Rod as he begins the sewing machine copy. PG#6: Frank wins Cliff with only five steps! Pre-Showcase: Bob recounts The Price is Mary with RU Mary. SC#1: Splendido Dining Room Passcase. And Mary, after her Hole in Two disaster, could use the golf cart and clubs in it! SC#2: The Automatic Teller in Beverly Hills, with echo, and malfunctions. Holly needs money, gets tickets to Rome. Kyle wants money to invest, the machine circumvents the process with five ounces of gold. Dian needs money to get away, and the FRTS Showcase circumvents that process too with a Fleetwood trailer. And The Price Is Mary completes after the TW completely loses his mind and bids THIRTY FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS.
| 2025-10-05 | 5 PM/7 PM | 7013D | No | Rod with a slight bobble in the First Four and voice-crack at announcing Bob. Bob states he stepped on Dian's toe at the hand-off. "Ouch!" PG#1: Buick Skyhawk Coupe on offer. ($9560) It's slider is a bit off-center. And Anna wins the car in Sudden Death. IUFB#2: Contestant #5 Lissell is a long-time fan on his first trip to TPiR. Three near-suicides on a re-do actually had the right idea on the IUFB! PG#2: Bob has one of the tags fall apart as he wants the contestant to explain the game! Holly forgets to flip her prize after Midora wins them all! Kyle has to cover for her. PG#3: Laura does not know how to price hot sauce, but the audience knows how to price Press-On-Nails, and after several 0/3 starts, we have a 3/3 start! SCSD#1: Anna has some gas money for that new car! IUFB#4: Contestant #7 Name Hall of Fame: Wylodene Pascal. Audience member also notes with Bob that we are now 4 for 4 heading to halftime! PG#5: Lissell Makes Friends second. Wylodene wins up. Subaru Justu 4WD on offer in OA. Wylodene is very professional with her calls for numbers. But she breaks the pattern. PG#6: Lissell Makes Friends, this time third. Byron escapes the FFBC with a $1 bid after. 3/4 SP. And Byron's lucky number subverts Bob's usual pattern of checking the shells. He had it right the first time, as he was confident he did -- for a 5/6 day! SCSD#2: And another booing in the new drop! SC#1: Nights At The Opera. Rod looking quite fetching in another tuxedo! Kyle gets wolf-whistles in a next-to-nothing sheer gown. An opera tour of New York, Paris and Sydney (3 week chained), with $1000 spending money completes. No car means Anna passes. SC#2: Starcrossed Second. Playroom with a Pac-Mania upright, jukebox, and foosball table. Dune Buggy Grand Prize. Audience was right, Anna wins, nice total of $25,878. Long credits.
| 2025-10-06 | 5 PM/7 PM | 7014D | No | IUFB#1: Stop-down with the large model train set, it wasn't working! PG#1: Bob tries to pass off the explanation on the stop-down onto contestant Brinton. PG#2: Wins only one SP, so three cards. Bails with the $1500. R-A-R. Rather mundane first half. 2/3. One of the problems with the edit of the ticket plug is when Bob seamlessly transitions into it after the SCSD, which makes a seamless edit impossible, like this one. IUFB#4: And, once again, the tennis demonstration goes awry, as Kyle continues to improve until she bonks Holly with the last shot! Holly pointing out her injury sends us to halftime. IUFB#5: And Holly has recovered as the prize comes down behind her! PG#5: Contestant confuses cat food with cat litter. Don't feed that to your cat! The cash register malfunctions. So they have to come up with the total themselves! Bob goes over to Kyle to chide her and have her explain her mistake, but, according to Kyle, it was a straight-up malfunction! PG#6: And we wrap with CLANGERS! But his rolls don't help him (3-4-6-1), and going with the odds on the 4 burns him. SCSD#2: No, you can't leave when you're the leader. Don't follow the guy you just beat! And yet ANOTHER all-male Showcase round. SC#1: Living room, wine credenza, and a spa (Holly in towel not included.) TW Paul passes to passes to RU Clyde. SC#2: Little-known planets. FRBS Showcase: Regal Marine Sebring Grand Prize. Paul doesn't remotely cover the boat, Clyde wins as a result. The upscaling didn't work in the last about segment and a half of the show -- started during the second Showcase. The graphics are all out of wack on the roll at the end and the video is all fragmented in the back.
| 2025-10-07 | 5 PM/7 PM | 7015D | No | Contestant #1 Frances has to be prompted again by Rod to Come On Down -- she can't believe it! PG#1: Frances Makes Friends, Walter wins up. Bob talks with Walter about Coach Paul Brown. Bob then runs into Rod's call of the Jeep Pioneer Truck. First door is stuck, and finally propped open. Goes 5-5-5 after hitting the first number, and wins the truck exactly. Fourth consecutive PG#1 win. PG#3: Contestant does not know the price of lozenges. So she matches her CLANGERS with another $100. PG#4: Dian getting picked on by Bob -- Dian just went to the chiropractor and may not be able to Bump. So Kyle will bump, even though it was Dian's direction. And quite a windup by Kyle! Before IUFB#5: Bob confuses himself with grammar. PG#5: And that's the fourth consecutive PG#5 loss. Before IUFB#6: Fashion With Rod: A wild plaid jacket in blue, yellow, and pink. PG#6: Nissan Sentra E gets the MGHSH. A different rarity in the Showcase round: Both car games were won, and both car winners are in the Showcase! TW Walter, RU Debbie. Debbie needs a primer on the rules, the first time Bob actually noted someone had a question on the Showcase rules. SC#1: Splendido Bedroom Passcase. A green Yung Chang grand piano and a trip to Ireland feature in the Showcase. Walter passes to Debbie. SC#2: The Amazing Story of the Parking Garage (with echo!). A riding lawn mower, a motorcycle, and a CADILLAC Coupe De Ville. Debbie wins, but only that Walter went over on a Cadillac showcase by about a grand. An uncharacteristic good attempt on a luxury-car Showcase on the channel. A story from Debbie's local paper on her victory has been found.
| 2025-10-08 | 5 PM/7 PM | 7021D | No | Contestant #1 Patricia takes her old sweet time Coming On Down. PG#1: But she wastes no time winning up (missing only $1) and bumping Bob on the way back to playing Bar. PG#2: Audience didn't like Contestant #5 Michael's bid -- too bad for them it only missed $4 and he wins up. Chevy Sprint Hatchback Coupe. ($7018) Sudden Death does not go Michael's way -- but he at least wins a nice area rug and avoids a case of OINK. PG#3: And, as often happens, an all-over is followed by CLANGERS. A lot of us thought Dave had won with that second pick, but it was the 2 instead of the ace. He fumbles around and is a rare Hit Me loss. IUFB#4: Contestant #7 Reva falls down, tripping on the staircase as she comes out to the aisle. A number of fellow audience members and the page on her aisle help her. PG#4: Range Finder Advisory: Simply that they can't start it again. PG#5: Reva has another staircase to deal with, Plinko! 5 chips: 0-1000-500-1000 (operator thought it was only 100)-PLINKO STICK-500=3000. Before IUFB#6: Another edition of Fashion With Rod: Sleek in his blue and green shiny striped shirt and shiny purple vest! Steve Makes Friends with David, but David applauds when the buzzers go off! Steve then Makes Friends again with another contestant on the re-do and wins up! PG#6: Jeep Cherokee Wagon. Five-digit One Away. Steve gets three right on the first run. TW Laura, RU James. SC#1: Enjoying Life In California. FRTS with some funny effects on the California map. Laura bids. SC#2: James wins (She bid THIRTY FOUR THOUSAND DOLLARS -- let that sink in!) a dining room passcase. Spa Grand Prize.
| 2025-10-09 | 5 PM/7 PM | 7022D | No | Bob wants to give Helene a prize -- for being the last person to sit down on the open. PG#1: Check Game gets cheers. Contestant Sandra claims to know Check Game. And she wins nearly the maximum for that prize -- only missed the top total by five dollars. And that's six PG#1 wins in a row now. Before IUFB#2: A rare moment of Energetic Older Contestant #5 Harold. A request of Ambassador Roddy? PG#2: Victoria Makes Friends and wins up. Pontiac Sunbird SE Coupe. ($9147) And they didn't want that won (fourth consecutive PG#2 lost) with the car price or the prices of the small prizes. PG#3: Harold wins up. Draws: Three zeroes. Passes. Other Hand: Fives full of nines. A number of people noticed that, at least on the streaming service airings, the ticket plug was actually left in this time! The BUZZR airing, however, didn't appear to have it. IUFB#4: Bob is trying to match up Contestant #7 Donald with Jamie next to him in Contestant's Row. Donald is married, no word on whether his wife is in the audience. Contestant in shock at losing the sailboat (breaking a string of consecutive PG#4 wins) takes us to halftime. IUFB#5: Early Fashion With Rod, a three color striped jacket with matching tie for the Ambassador of a small part of Thailand. Rambunctious little one in the Pet Adoption Segment! Donald Makes Friends (with Jamie), but Theresa wins up. A Subaru Justy for four-digit Three Strikes. Four draws, three strikes, Bob is perturbed. ($7361 -- and that's six PG#5 losses in a row.) PG#6: Susan Makes Friends with Donald and wins up. 0/3 second half. SCSD#2: Theresa will need the paramedics if she wins $11,000. None needed, she busts. Francis COMPLETELY WIPES OUT on her one spin! Bob is so interested in making jokes, he didn't realize she had already legally spun! She wins, Susan nearly ties her. Probable Hurry-Up Mode for the Showcases now. TW Francis, RU Victoria. SC#1: Splendido two-bedroom passcase. Kids first, then adults. Projection TV Grand Prize. Francis passes. SC#2: Green rhyming Showcase. Obcash. $1,000. Obclothing, but it's a gown for Dian. ObIreland. But it's TWO Green Trucks: Chevy S-10 pickups. Victoria wins, Francis couldn't cover the trucks. We go out on a still of the winner on her new television set. Her total is misrepresented on the scoreboard.
| 2025-10-10 | 5 PM/7 PM | 7023D | No | A few empty seats are seen in the studio. PG#1: Squeals from the ladies as it's Robert showing off his legs. After the win, model chat is subverted -- Holly reports they have nothing to say! IUFB#2: Contestant #5 Dann is with a bunch of airline stewardesses from Arizona, here to see Bob! PG#2: And she makes it 2-for-2 from the rightmost spot. IUFB#3: The watches were being brought down to CR, and apparently Garvin was blocking Contestant #6 Lynn from seeing them -- so Lynn slugged the military man! PG#3: Buick Skyhawk Coupe. Exercise cycle gift is indicative of something Rod used to lose a few pounds. Lynn guesses $9407 and leaves it. And she loses $2542 in gifts when she goes for it and the car is $9415. SCSD#1: First-spinner 60 gets into a spinoff. And The Robert Show continues -- he wins. BUZZR airing definitely edits the ticket plug today. IUFB#4: Contestant #7 Anthony has a large family... PG#4: Garvin wins up. And wins at the buzzer. PG#5: Now it's Anthony, with a wide range of price tags for his car (Subaru Loyale) attempt. Falsitis wins 2 choices, including failing on a $10 Fisher-Price toy. Went the wrong direction on his second pick. ($10,101) Seventh consecutive PG#5 loss, four of them the second-half car games. IUFB#6: Fashion With Rod: Purple tie, shiny purple jacket not unlike the one from a couple days ago. PG#6: Jeanette escapes the FFBC, and takes forever to get up on stage. Gives the wheel on the handle a great big spin, but it won't open for her. SCSD#2: And the tight wheel gets someone else, more booing. And Jeanette barely got it around the second time, 90 to 90. Bob teases "Little Anthony" about the same, he's anything but. SC#1: Romantic hideaways. Tripcase: Carmel, Cape Cod, and Martinique. (not chained) And a FRTS on top of it. (Fleetwood Wilderness) TW Robert passes to RU Jeanette. SC#2: Train Depot. Player piano Grand Prize.
| 2025-10-11 | 5 PM/7 PM | 7024D | No | Janice returns from her accident, first segment made Clip of the Day on Youtube for October 11, 2025. With Janice handling the handoff, Bob keeps her onstage for the return announcement. PG#1: Bob wonders what would happen if the contestant forgot to put the cube into the price of the car. 1 right on the first try. And it was the car!!!!!!!!!!!! Peggy's right, she blew it! IUFB#2: Energetic Older Contestant #5 William. PG#2: Contestant Richard is an aspiring actor. IUFB#3: Rod gets tounge-tied on S-Frame chairs. SCSD#1: Bad audio and video glitches early in the Showdown. And Richard cheeses the wheel on the bonus spin for a total of $6,000 in badly-needed cash! IUFB#4: Contestant #7 Margaret with hugs for Contestants Row. PG#4: And Margaret tries to butter Bob up. And they've flipped the models for Bump to aid in Janice's recovery. And Janice bumps on her return! IUFB#5: Cameraman caught in the back of the shot as we go to early Fashion With Rod, shiny green jacket today. PG#5: Contestant Rebecca wants to recoup her Vegas losses before heading back to Carmine, TX (population 268 (or 269)). And she does!!! No clangs, whoops, or graphic. IUFB#6: Bob gets to fawn over himself (and the models over him) in the IUFB television set. PG#6: A Pontiac LeMans. Well won ($8258). Another near-El Perfecto ruined at the start. SC#1: Another two-room Splendido Living Room Passcase. Kids first, then adults. London trip Grand Prize. TW Richard passes to RU Margaret. Richard wins (Margaret badly overbid) SC#2, devoted to Unique Social Groups. Jukebox (appears to be stock music) has Holly and "Partner" dancing. Grand Prize: A Pontiac Trans-Am! Or does he? NOPE!! It's a DOUBLE OVERBID because Richard didn't do the $1 bid and got too cute. Bob says hi to some people in the audience as we go out.
| 2025-10-12 | 5 PM/7 PM | 7025D | No | Contestant #1 Michelle was literally right in the front row. Another front-row audience member wants to shake Bob's hand and gets it. PG#1: Karen Makes Friends and wins up. MGHSH for a Mercury Tracer. El Cheapo fools her for a miss. ($8760) IUFB#2: Contestant #5 Larry almost tomahawks a contestant on the way in! PG#2: And he wins up quickly -- look out Bob! Demonstrative wife helps him win. (Even with the underwear.) IUFB#3: Holly, all dressed up for the occasion, demostrates the pitching wedge on the golf clubs. PG#3: Contestant Makes Friends and they both lose narrowly. Contestant #6 Nora wins to make that last slot 3 for 3. Nora says she knows how to play Clock Game and doesn't. Wins NOTHING. PG#4: And Mary-Lynn breaks the cycle. PG#5: More Making Friends on the first attempt on a rather inexpensive IUFB. And two players Make Friends on the re-do. And Gary wins up, having done so twice. Michelle gets chided by Bob for Making Friends third. Subaru GL Wagon. And he aces the containers to win all the prizes and 3 cards, for 5 total. And he bails with the money, Bob may have unduly influenced said decision! Contestant thinks his wife is going to kill him if he had the car... R-C-R-A...... IUFB#6: Bob with a backhanded compliment for Janice's drumming/noise. PG#6: Michelle Makes Friends again, this time she wins up to escape at the last moment. SCSD#2: The two ladies spin off at 95 cents. TW Michelle, RU Larry. SC#1: Prizes for a Desert Rat, with appropo music. Jeep Wrangler Sahara Grand Prize. Michelle will pass. SC#2: Desserts, more specifically Ice Cream. Trip to Italy and China (not chained). Ski boat Grand Prize. Michelle wins when Larry goes over. Husband Carlos joins to congratulate his wife. Edited for broadcast somehow. Long credits.
| 2025-10-13 | 5 PM/7 PM | 7031D | No | Week of the announcement of the Season 17 Home Viewer Showcase -- the last of the Barker Era Home Viewer Showcases. As is Fremantle policy on outdated contests now, it appears they edited all reference to same! The HVS was shown before IUFB#2. From our Discord streamers Snowpeck and NickintheATL, the 1988 Christmas Home Viewer Showcase, Santa's Workshop: A Christmas Wreath with gold, a custom-crafted entertainment center with electronic aids and an Emerson 25" TV/VCR, a Harley FLTC Tourglide Classic motorcycle, a 3.74 carat emerald necklace with over 2 carats of diamonds, and a Corvette Convertible Grand Prize. IUFB#1: TV with Rod in it -- he looks to be in a more normal suit jacket and tie. PG#1: Naissa Makes Friends, but the audience drowns out the clangs for LeAnne's CLANGERS win. IUFB#2: Energetic Older Contestant #5 Verna has been wanting to kiss Bob from Phoenix for years! PG#2: Kenneth Makes Friends, Verna gets her kiss!! Dian looks like she needs to eat a bit more -- ribcages aren't sexy, Dian. Brief scoreboard error. 3 for 3 gets the trip to Tahiti! PG#3: Subaru Wagon for Sherrie if she can get not One Away on five-digit OA. Four right the first time around. SCSD#1: Verna wipes out at the wheel, twice! First by falling down, then by going over on that spin! Bob says his kiss doesn't have it! IUFB#4: Looks like 3 for 3 in spot 2, as Bob has grief for the other three as Contestant #7 Vernon from New Mexico wins up. PG#4: Kenneth Makes Friends and wins up to break the row. Draws: Four nines. Keeps. Other Hand: Pair of zeroes. PG#5: Carole Makes Friends, Vernon wins up. MGHSH for a Pontiac LeMans. Vernon misses the target badly once -- with the one he would've won the car with had he gotten on the target with it! IUFB#6: Fashion with Ambassador Rod. PG#6: Carole escapes the FFBC. TW Kenneth, RU LeAnne. SC#1: Living Room Passcase. Honda Shadow Motorcycle and Sidecar. Kenneth passes. SC#2: Time Capsule, Houston. Olds Cutlass Ciera. Neither particularly close, LeAnne wins because Kenneth didn't even cover the car.
| 2025-10-14 | 5 PM/7 PM | 7032D | No | Contestant #2 Angela was only two seats over when called. HVS plug before play begins -- but all showings of the HVS have been edited away from the TBE/BUZZR feeds, and several edits precede this one. PG#1: Patricia Makes Friends and wins up. Jeep Comanche on offer. PG#2: Jeanette should not have listened to the audience. PG#4: Riding down the street in a snowmobile in Cucomonga??? Range Game Joke: Next winter. Contestant outsmarted most of the audience! IUFB#5: Rod cannot pronounce Contestant #8 Asenath's name! She got down there, and is screaming! PG#5: Only one of the four small prizes. Tough setup. Probably saved some of the budget for the HVS on that one. Ouch. IUFB#6: Fashion with Rod: Multi-colored striped jacket. PG#6: Christina escapes the FFBC at the last moment. Dian can't get the safe open! Pontiac SE Coupe for the NCFC. And another tough setup (4-5-0). SCSD#1: And Christina redeems herself for $1,000! TW Angela, RU Christina. SC#1: Splendido Bedroom Passcase. Grand Prize trip to Copenhagen. Angela passes. Audio glitch in the Showcase. SC#2: Land, Sea, and Air. Pair of sport boats Grand Prize. Model in Swimsuit gets vigorous whistles. Angela wins when Christina goes barely over.
| 2025-10-15 | 5 PM/7 PM | 7033D | No | Bob notes that only the First Four didn't applaud him when he came out! He wants to send them all back! IUFB#1: Bob underestimates this audience right off the bat! PG#2: Well, Ruby saved us some time. One missed call due to her husband, one snide remark, and three strikes ($9537 for a Buick Skyhawk.) PG#3: One of the prices didn't have a dollar sign on it that needed it. SCSD#1: Narrow miss on a grand! IUFB#4: Contestant #7 Eddie is in the front row and just has to Come On Over. IUFB#5: Bob notices a sisterly resemblance in CR between First Four Sandra and Contestant #8 Lori. PG#5: Eddie Makes Friends and wins up. And the spa gets a bit of subversion: Holly sticks the company tag on "her" leg and promptly turns it in impossible directions -- it was the leg of a mannequin! Eddie's bidding was as fake as that leg! Didn't even get to the third item. IUFB#6: Fashion With Rod: Shiny gold jacket with a matching tie and a red sash with gold butterflies on it -- his sash from the ambassadorship in Thailand? And a Suicide Bid by Billie is saved on an all-over! PG#6: Sandra Makes Friends on Lori, Billie basically Makes Friends on Sandra, and Billie wins up. Chevy Metro LSi on offer. Billie could use the Used Number Board on the current Any Number game as he repeats numbers left and right! And he somehow lucks his way into a new car! ($7830) Before SCSD#2: Forget everything I said on Eddie: They put the wrong flashlight out (aiding in his "bad" bidding), so he wins the spa and the three gifts. TW Louise, RU Joni. SC#1: Prizes Just For Two. Two season tickets for the Lakers, two Honda motorscooters, and a cruise of the Mediterrenean. Louise passes. SC#2: Gameroom (pool table, rocking horse, big-screen TV -- to which Louise is bemused by her simulated picture). Dune Buggy Grand Prize. And even with clunky edits, they still slipped on getting all the address references!
| 2025-10-16 | 5 PM/7 PM | 7034D | Yes | PG#1: Jeep Cherokee Wagon. ($12,346) And Falsitis has nailed Bruce! Only gets one choice, and it was the last small prize! PG#2: And poor Joyce lost her way! As a result, she wins only one prize in 26 seconds! PG#3: Brent bids $13 and wins. SCSD#1: Bruce snags a thousand off the Big Wheel! And almost gets tied! IUFB#5: Early Fashion With Rod: Shiny blue suit jacket with that same sash he was wearing on the last show! PG#5: Subaru Justy for this HVS show's NCFC. PG#6: And a comeback win for Vicki from a near-wipeout. Shenanigans kept to a minimum, as often happens with HVS Week. SCSD#1: And now she's on a hot streak: Vicki adds a grand herself on the Big Wheel for cash in both Showdowns. TW Vicki, RU Bruce. SC#1: Joy of Rollercoasters. Chained trips to New York, Blackpool England, and Disneyland Tokyo. Vicki passes. SC#2: Splendido Dining-Room second. Audience whoops and whistles at swimsuit-clad Dian. Hovercraft Grand Prize. Both of them got rather close, but it's a DOUBLE OVERBID, no winner! Holly hams for the camera and cuts off Janice as Bob says hello to those on the right aisle. Full credits.
| 2025-10-17 | 5 PM/7 PM | 7035D | No | Bob makes reference this is the last day of Santa's Workshop and the Season 17 Home Viewer Showcase Week. PG#1: Both a Making of Friends and a $1 bid failed. And more whistles for Dian in ANOTHER swimsuit, this one a barely-there two-piece for the trip to St. Thomas. The audience nor Bob were too enamored with Rod's copy, so they needed a repeat as to the trip length. And ANOTHER rather interesting setup during HVS Week... IUFB#2: Contestant #5 Jack says hi to Helen, so Bob jokes he's brought them together after 31 years apart! PG#2: Buick Skylark Sedan on offer that Helen can win. PG#3: And Jack follows her to try to break the schnide. Due to HVS, Bob just explains Check Game without any shenanigans. And Jack needs about three five or six more explanations as a result. And Bob sees he's COMPLETELY lost. And Jack is just completely stumped. He somehow wins. It gets so bad, he doesn't even have time to write out the check in words. Bob needs to sit down. Hurry Up Mode for the rest of the show. SCSD#1: And Jack adds another $1,000 to the $1,000 he won in that debacle of Check Game. IUFB#5: Contestant #8 Dorothy is jumping her way down, but we have no time to explore her energy, thanks to Jack! They DO, however, have time for a Pet Adoption Segment, but the cute puppy doggie's head is cut off because Janice is holding it in such a way the edge of the door is blocking it. PG#6: No time for Fashion With Rod, and Dorothy wins up to try to win a Subaru Justy. And after much deliberation on the last pick, she wins it!! ($8668) SCSD#2: And make that four Showdowns in a row now with a $1,000 winner. But a DISQUALIFICATION on the bonus spin by someone who didn't need to chintz it! All-male Showcase round. TW Jack, RU Milton SC#1: The Ultimate Backyard (with echo) Toyota 4WD Truck Grand Prize. Jack bids. SC#2: Main Street. Jukebox Grand Prize. And, to no one's surprise, the show was edited for broadcast.
| 2025-10-18 | 5 PM/7 PM | 7041D | No | No new shows for Thanksgiving Week, so we're now on the week after Thanksgiving. Contestant #2 Lorraine wants to hug Contestant #1 Sailor Larry! And it appears all the canoodling has broken Larry's microphone! IUFB#2: Contestant #5 Albert advised to stay away from Lorraine. And Larry's microphone is fixed! PG#2: Karen Makes Friends and wins up. Pre-IUFB#3: Audience member Doris doesn't seem to like Bob's shirt! IUFB#3: (Extended) Pet Adoption Segment. PG#3: Buick Skylark Sedan if the ball can be putted in. Inspiration: Drains it! Lorraine's putt (from the same line): Had it, just left it short. Second putt: Way too hard, almost gets it in off the bank. SCSD#1: And make it five showdowns in a row for a $1,000 winner! And then someone has to not get it around again. And now that's two in a row for DISQUALIFICATIONS on the bonus spin. IUFB#4: Now that Lorraine is out, Larry is now hitting on Contestant #7 Agata. PG#4: Freeze-frame on Albert losing Check Game takes us to halftime. PG#5: 5 chips: 0-0-500-0-100=$600 Bob claims that is a record low to this point for a contestant with five chips. (See note) IUFB#6: Fashion With Rod: Gold and Black jacket, matching tie, and Dian hitting on him! PG#6: Bases loaded, Larry strikes out for the 1/6. SCSD#2: Make it SIX in a row now, as another $1,000 goes off the wheel. TW Karen SC#1: TV and Bedroom Passcase. Arctic Cat Cougar Snowmobile Grand Prize. Karen passes to RU Linda. SC#2: Martians Invade! They take a Slosher (Washer and Dryer), an Ankle-Banger (a bumper pool table), and a Buzz-Dodger Grand Prize (a Dodge Daytona Coupe). Husband would've put Karen over! Let's hope that makes that HER Buzz-Dodger!
| 2025-10-19 | 5 PM/7 PM | 7042D | No | PG#1: MGHSH for a range, an arcade basketball game, and an armoire with television set. Two of the three original balls: GAS RANGE-50. But the Super Ball wins only 50 -- so it's the Gas Range and $200. IUFB#2: Contestant #5 Frankie from Hungary gets us started on the heritage of the other contestants in the row. PG#2: Trips to Acapulco and New York. IUFB#3: Contestant #6 Ashley only has to take one step over to get in Contestants Row. A weight-loss bonus gets some laughs, but Rod is continuing to lose weight, so Bob wants the laughing to cease! PG#3: And Juanita wins a $3.68 case of OINK. SCSD#1: And a couple close calls for a grand in that Showdown. PG#4: Draws: Three fours. Passes. Other Hand: Fours up on zeroes. Only one 9 in the entire game. IUFB#5: Bob with a rather crude joke about a cradle prize, after Janice presents him with a "gift": a baby (doll) from said cradle. PG#5: Mercury Tracer Very well won! ($9723) SCSD#2: And another spin that can't make it all the way around. TW Katherine, RU Frances SC#1: Little Known Dinosaurs. This CHiPasaurus gets the SWAT theme. Party Boat Grand Prize, to "Let's Hear It For the Boy" and a late door opening. Katherine will pass. SC#2: The Ultimate Gardener (with echo!) Off-center camera-shot for the Toyota 4WD truck Grand Prize. And it's another DOUBLE OVERBID, Katherine was pretty close.
| 2025-10-20 | 5 PM/7 PM | 7043D | No | Crowd is very excitable. Rod promised a new car, so the crowd is quite energetic. IUFB#2: After an extended chat with Energetic Older Contestant #5 Miriam, Bob jokingly tells her to sit down and she almost does! PG#2: Chevy Sprint Hatchback Coupe at the end of the road for Susan. And Susan loses the plot a bit on the laundry center, including at least four Zero Rule violations. Takes her six tries to win it, so only three to try for the car. PG#3: Jukebox (stock music), with Bobby Soxer Holly and "Partner". Another big bust in Grocery. SCSD#1: Older contestant can't get it around the second time, Bob helps and he was ruled not to either, even though it sounds like he did. IUFB#4: A pedal vehicle Holly is demonstrating has Bob fearing for his safety! PG#4: Another interesting setup: 4-3-0 Wife Cynthia is about to give up on her husband Jerome -- and Jerome had it right! PG#5: Carolina playing for a Jeep -- small prizes not shown until necessary. PG#6: Can Harry prevent the George the Polar Bear Special? Nope, it's an 0/6 Polar Bear George Special. SCSD#2: There was so much trouble in the first SCSD, Bob actually checks the wheel before the second! And it doesn't look like it's much better in this one either! Strapping young lady can barely get it around in her two spins. Jerome auto-wins on a day that is turning out to be VERY bad. We go over TW Jerome's medals before the Showcase. RU Susan. SC#1: Splendido Dining Room Passcase Spa Grand Prize. Jerome passes to Susan. SC#2: Cheerleaders! With pom-pons provided to the right side of the audience! N - New Orleans Trip, A-Athens Trip (not chained) V-Vienna Trip -- Grand Prize V-A-N: Chevy Astro CS Minivan. Jerome wins it, Cynthia, who cost him Safe Crackers, comes up to congratulate him!
| 2025-10-21 | 5 PM/7 PM | 7044D | Yes | Model chat after a surprising win in PG#1. Time to formally welcome Janice back after a number of shows -- I guess the HVS took all the time in doing so that week! IUFB#2: Energetic Older Contestant #5 Joseph on vacation, lost on the freeway... PG#2: Joseph never got lost in Contestant's Row. MGHSH for a Nissan Sentra E. Misses one prize, but recovers by acing the third, so all 5 cards! And we know one of the cards which did NOT say CAR, the #4 card was put in backwards! And he bails with the $2500. C-A-C-C-A. IUFB#3: Rod had his copies backwards -- the wall hangings surprised him so much, Bob interrupted the read to check on him! Freaking Random Artwork stumps the panel and we have to do it again. SCSD#1: Jenny squeals some more, and we have a spinoff. And a double-spinoff! The edits are getting slightly cleaner. IUFB#4: Waaneeta's name stumps Rod a bit. PG#4: Natalie Makes Friends, Phyllis wins up. Dian with not enough windup! IUFB#5: Early Fashion With Rod: Shiny gold and black striped jacket. And Guy has Bob concerned for his safety! PG#5: Possible video errors. PG#6: Going with the odds costs the contestant. TW Bradley, RU Magdalena. SC#1: Baby Holly, The Toddler Terror at the mall. (with echo) The babysitters have had enough, it's time for a cruise to the Orient Grand Prize. Bradley passes. SC#2: Living Room Passcase Second. FRTS, Comet from Starcraft. Bradley wins with a nice bid! Long credits.
| 2025-10-22 | 5 PM/7 PM | 7045D | No | The turntable is now padded, and Bob notes it is, in fact, new! Bob wants to know how the microphone got so wet! IUFB#1: Rod, in a green and gray striped jacket, on another television set IUFB. PG#1: William wins up, and forgets that means he wins up. Bob goofs a bit, and shows William the price after he gets it. IUFB#2: Energetic Older Contestant #5 Isla enchants Bob with her flattery. The clock strikes whatever when Rod does the copy for it. PG#2: Isla wins up and southpaws the steps. Isla mocks annoyance at Rod's pronunication of her name. Bob got it right, though. She forgives Rod at the announcement of the car she can win. Will she forgive him when she went one card too many? PG#3: Someone Makes Friends third, does not win up. The Now or Then sign is missing! SCSD#1: Second spinner William almost spins again at 70, wins. IUFB#5: Contestant #7 Dawn recognizes the person next to her, now next to her in Contestant's Row, Rocco. PG#5: Dawn wins up. Pontiac LeMans Coupe. 2 numbers right the first time around. IUFB#6: Fashion with Rod. And a significant amount of time to talk to the audience on camera as well! One gives a gift in honor of her mom and dad, who had Bob as one of their favorites for many years. PG#6: Mary Makes Friends second. Rocco wins up! 3 of 4 small prizes. TW Rocco, RU William SC#1: Department Store. Grand Prize Baldwin Player Piano. Rocco passes. SC#2: Hot Rod Roddy, The Daredevil. Oldsmobile Calais Sedan Grand Prize. Audience a bit indecisive with who to start with. William wins, Rocco is barely over.
| 2025-10-23 | 5 PM/7 PM | 7051D | No | Dian is seen with the IUFB#1 gown at the back of the audience at the open. A reference to the Yolanda Bowsley incident is made because of the energy of the opening. PG#1: Emily wins it (probably for a child or grandchild, because Emily even admits she might not fit in it!). Chevy Sprint Hatchback Coupe. Bob calls 11 El Cheapo with an 05 up there. Both fool Emily. ($6742) IUFB#2: Cheap TV stumps the field. PG#2: Suicide bid made irrelevant by a previous CLANGERS, and Dawn wins it. We appear to be punching one hole at a time upon the winning of small prizes. 4 punches: 1000 (and she'll take that -- much to the wonderment of the audience)-500-50 and a Second Chance-500 PG#3: Take Two scoreboard not turned off. SCSD#1: Spinoff at 65. IUFB#4: Interesting prize: A movie encyclopedia, with a Life Savers holiday tin as a promo bonus. PG#4: Contestant #7 Tanisha wastes no time in winning up. IUFB#5: Some confusion over Contestant #8. Apparently her name is Tiny, but they got her name down as Tina, and we have another Tina in the audience, but the safeguards in place confirm we have the right contestant in Tiny. PG#5: And Tiny wins her way up for 3 in a row from that position. And she misses all three items by less than 15 cents, one each item. IUFB#6: Rod is an Easter Egg in his Fashion With Rod pastel jacket. PG#6: Crista escapes the FFBC, and Bob is not convinced of her confidence. A Buick Skyhawk is the Temptation. Changes to 9560. $3,048 in gifts. TW Crista, RU Emily SC#1: Main Street. Spa Grand Prize. Crista passes. SC#2: NYC Appreciation, meaning ObTrip there. $1,000 to go down 5th Avenue. Video camera. Chrysler New Yorker Sedan is the Grand Prize. Emily wins a fairly close decision.
| 2025-10-24 | 5 PM/7 PM | 7053D | Yes | PG#1: Joseph Makes Friends third, Ashley wins up. She thinks the boat she won in IUFB#1 is perfect, she lives in Long Beach! Easy set-up -- extra sound effect for the wind-up. IUFB#2: Sweet Contestant #5 Leilani was born in Montana, not Hawaii. One of the parents is Samoan.. UH OH!!!!! She's about 1/4 Samoan, so the pick-up won't be so bad. :) PG#2: Joseph Makes Friends again and wins up. Min price: $8,100!! Wurlitzer Grand Piano. Joseph is ordered to take an oath that he will learn to play the piano if he wins it. A $7 win means an immediate call for piano lessons! PG#3: Pontiac LeMans AeroCoupe. Bob having a little trouble with the first Master Key slide. Both keys. DUD for the first one. She has to take classes for the power tools, but knows how to drive, and it is the MASTER for 3/3!!! SCSD#1: And then she almost trips on Bob's microphone cord after winning the Showdown. PG#4: Sandra needs a quick refresher on the game. Lucks a bit into the first one after good play. (650-700 brace, 699 was next call) Took a bit of the roundabout route on the second, but we are 4/4! PG#5: Sweet Leilani wins up. Mercury Tracer. And she's all over the place -- wrong first with one of two first choices, gets the other, and chooses FOURTH? And 3X does it's job in helping the budget, blowing the El Perfecto. PG#6: Someone tries to Make Friends, but does not win up. 5/6 show, nice work by today's contestants -- and even with the bit of roundabouting in 3X, didn't make a substantive difference. SCSD#2: Sandra ties Leilani with an exact once-around because the wheel is tight again! And we have a spin-off. SC#1: Splendido Living Room Passcase. Hitachi 50" projection TV Grand Prize. TW Wilhemina passes to RU Leilani. SC#2: All-American Showcase. Trips to Aspen, New Orleans, Boston (chained). And a combination FRTripS and FRTS (19' Coleman) -- and they throw in the Jeep Comanche Pioneer to make this a HUGE Showcase! Leilani wins, but because Wilhamena went over somehow on that Showcase. Leilani is picked up like the proverbial Samoan does Bob by her two friends in celebration! Bob is apparently spared. By the time the group shows up, there's about ten of them!
| 2025-10-25 | 5 PM/7 PM | 7054D | No | One of the better shows of the drop so far. Lots of applause at the open... Family with three kids in the second row! PG#1: And Bob thinks Gary will get some of it if he wins that Subaru Justy. Missed that first number two dollars, a bad miss for the thousands digit. IUFB#2: Energetic Older Contestant #5 Arlene. More chimes for the grandfather clock. PG#2: Debra Makes Friends and wins up. Debra does not watch as much as she should, so she may now know the Race Game. Bob takes quite a while having fun with her before sending her off. PG#3: Clangs and whoops, no graphic, but the big win! SCSD#1: Arlene gets a grand barely, 50 and 50, after being booed! And the fact she can't spin it any harder means she now has a total of TWENTY-ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS in cash -- a then-show record!! PG#4: Rudolph subverts a tough setup -- 42160. PG#5: Lisa wins up after getting Made Friends with by Rivka on an all-over. Another Jeep (Wrangler Sahara). 4 right on the first try. She outsmarts much of the audience! IUFB#6: Fashion With Rod -- a very loud jacket and a very interesting last name. PG#6: Rivka Makes Friends Again and escapes the FFBC. Jukebox (swing music) for Holly and "Partner". Three small prizes. Bob with the stall job, and yet another El Perfecto ruined at the start! SCSD#2: First contestant doesn't leave all the way, TW Lisa auto-wins. TW Arlene, RU Lisa with some nice totals. Someone could cash big here! SC#1: Rod with the fake Robin Leach for Lifestyles of the Ridiculously Rich and Occasionally Famous. (Lifestyles theme) FRTS (Fleetwood Wilderness) Grand Prize. Arlene passes. SC#2: Bedroom Second. Yamaha Golf Cart Grand Prize (with clubs). Arlene wins a close one with two good bids, and enters the $30,000 Club with over $31,000.
| 2025-10-26 | 5 PM/7 PM | 7055D | No | With Plinko being played first, it's an audience entrance for Bob. (Believed to be his third official one.) He states three people asked him "Where's My Refrigerator?" IUFB#1: Rod rattled a bit by a flirtatious model on his copy. PG#1: Our research indicates this is only the second time Plinko was played first, the first was in October two weeks before this drop started. 4 chips: 500-5000-1000-REMOVED AND REPLAYED-500=7000 An article about Jennie's win was found by Discord viewer alexb1186. IUFB#2: Energetic Older Contestant #5 Florence -- but no time to talk after Plinko. PG#2: Florence wins up. But she has never seen Check Game. And doesn't know how to play it. UGH! PG#3: Rosa makes it 3 for 3 from the 3rd spot. Chevy Sprint Hatchback at the end. Bob checks with Rosa after winning two prizes after a Zero Rule violation on the first. And then it starts going south, but she somehow wins it! ($7520) SCSD#1: And the hot streak continues: Florence wins a grand on the wheel. And Rosa adds one of her own and we have a Bonus Spin Spinoff. The ticket-plug edits are getting MUCH better. IUFB#4: Very early Fashion With Rod: Blue, orange, and purple jacket. PG#4: Tracy continues the hot streak from the hot spot! Tying the apparent to-date record for 4 for 4 from the same spot. (See note) IUFB#5: Contestant #8 Robert gets into the hot spot and hugs one of the show's losers. PG#5: Judith finally breaks the schnide. PG#6: MGHSH for a Jeep Cherokee Wagon. 4 (against odds)-4 (right)-3 (with odds)-3 (with odds) ($12,416) TW Florence, RU Judith SC#1: Starcrossed Gameroom Passcase. SC#2: Gold Fever (Theme to "Goldfinger"), ObSwimsuit (and whistles) for Dian. Trip to San Francisco. And a gold Honda Prelude, then they add 5 ounces of ObGold to the Showcase. Florence was decent for the size, Judith was better.
| 2025-10-27 | 5 PM/7 PM | 7061D | No | Bob notes lots of sun on the day of taping. IUFB#1: Bob scares the Hell out of Claudia, claiming a bug on her shirt almost flew into her mouth -- getting the obvious reaction! PG#1: Nearly $10,000 for Safe Crackers -- a grand piano worth more than many cars. Another 3-4-0 setup. IUFB#2: Energetic Older Contestant #5 Luther. PG#2: Claudia wins up. Inspiration: Wide right. First putt: Well wide. Second putt: Got it! IUFB#4: Holly uses Michael as a stand to show off the IUFB watch. Stupid $1 bid third gets a $5 bid in response, the $5 bid wins! PG#4: Contestant Tina was Miss Pennsylvania USA in 1984. (see note) Before IUFB#5: HVS Winner hype for Friday. PG#5: Pontiac LeMans AeroCoupe. Contestant drew the big $1,000 margin card. IUFB#6: Fashion With Rod without further discussion: Shiny tan shirt, shiny blue/purple vest. PG#6: Cecil escapes the FFBC! Missed the first one with an $8 bid, but not as much as someone thought. SC#1: Holly's Travel Bureau. Dune Buggy, trip to Palm Springs, Acapulco, and Egypt (chained). TW Michele bids. SC#2 for RU Maria: Dining Room Second. Two of the same motor scooters they had four of in a Passcase a couple shows ago (the Hondas) are the Grand Prize. $25,244 for the $25,000 Club for Michele after Maria just barely overbid.
| 2025-10-28 | 5 PM/7 PM | 7062D | Yes | PG#1: Daniel Makes Friends third, Jacqueline (who Bob thought the applause was for her) wins up instead. She's playing hooky from her husband. IUFB#2: Tennis Machine, no demonstration (to Bob's pouting). Close all-over. PG#2: Another Chevy Sprint Hatchback. ($8061). Didn't win it in sudden death, but an area rug is better than a case of OINK. PG#3: One of the four items was only one penny under the target price. Contestant found it third. And gets the clangs and whoops as a result! SCSD#1: 60 wins the Showdown for TW Jamie. PG#4: Toby from the Marines gets to play some poker. Draws: Pair of eights, as Janice has bad information on her end! Passes. Other Hand: Eights full of nines. PG#5: MGHSH plays for the Mercury Tracer ($9263) for Phyllis to try to win, after losing faith. Bob didn't remember the small bonus they're throwing in. They do the small prizes before the game starts this time. Phyllis only wins one additional chance, no car. IUFB#6: Fashion With Rod: Purple and Lavender-striped jacket, shiny gold tie. Contestant #9, Norma Geiger, NOT related to the makers of the Geiger Counter -- she insisted we know this. PG#6: Contestant is too busy at work to watch TPiR, so she needs to know about the Clock Game. She seems to catch on quickly though! Close to zero, but she got it done... SC#1: ERITH, including a FIRE! pinball machine (one of 7,700 produced). TW Jamie passes to RU Margaret. SC#2: Believe It Or Don't. (We don't anyway. :) ) Pontiac Trans-Am Grand Prize! Jamie wins and vaults into the $35,000 Club with over $36,000!
| 2025-10-29 | 5 PM/7 PM | 7063D | No | Bob teases the back of the audience about waving at themselves. IUFB#1: Another set of chimes for another Pearl Grandfather Clock. PG#1: And we get CLANGERS right off the bat. And Stephanie wins it with the first bid of the day! A Subaru Justy. All 5 cards for Stephanie. She goes on: C-C-CAR!!!! IUFB#2: Older Energetic Contestant #5 Jakob is trying to pull something. Bob gets Clara to put him back in his place. PG#2: And we are 2 for 2 in CLANGERS!! Jeffrey wins this one. And the clock has gone kaput! Jeffrey makes the discussion moot by quickly getting 4 in only two tries. PG#3: No perfect bid this time. Julia wins up, though. And whistles for Janice in a red two-piece Bob says Julia can carry in her shirt pocket. Bob is right, she was over -- but not by as much as we thought. SCSD#1: Spinoff at 85. PG#4: Spa, and this time it's Janice with the trick leg. IUFB#6: Fashion With Rod -- a greenish sheen jacket. PG#6: Clara escapes to try to win a Pontiac Sunbird SE Coupe and five tires as a bonus! ($9147) Stymied by the front and back trick, at least it wasn't El Cheapo 01. 0/3 second half. And we have another all-male Showcase Round. SCSD#2: Ledell barely wins $1,000 on his second spin. TW Jeffrey, RU Ledell. SC#1: More Little Known Planets. FRTS, a retractable Hi-Lo Trailer. Jeffrey passes. Bob likes the simulated space effect they used. SC#2: Splendido two-bedroom second. Kids first again, then adults. Trip to Japan Grand Prize. Ledell wins when Jeffrey WSD's the Splendido.
| 2025-10-30 | 5 PM/7 PM | 7064D | Yes | IUFB#1: Holly serving from a hot-dog cart. IUFB#2: Energetic Older Contestant #5 Doyce. Told Bob during the previous commercial his pet has been neutered. PG#2: Rather cheap dining room set prize for the era: $2299. Richard wins it, even though he doesn't do the shopping and Holly goofed. PG#3: A Toyota 5-speed pickup ($11,323) can be won by Contestant #6 Angela. Only 2 numbers right, after Angela didn't call them Gentlemen on the third run. SCSD#1: Close call for the first spinner, then one spin too late for both of the first two. Auto-win for TW Sylvia. IUFB#4: Early Fashion With Rod: A multicolor patterned jacket, no shine today. PG#5: William tries to Make Friends with Clara and gets nailed with an all-over. Then William Makes Friends with Clara again on the re-do, but Doyce wins up! Buick Skyhawk Coupe at the end. No zero in the two-digit price. $86 for $16 containers? $1490 for the car???? What the Hell, Doyce? So he wins it on the next try. ($9540) Wins it all in only 5 chances. First part of a local news article, showing Doyce with the car, was found. Again provided by Discord viewer alexb1186. PG#6: Rod has the remote control for the projection TV which is part of the prize. Rod having multiple problems with the copy. TW Doyce (in his cowboy hat!), RU Sylvia SC#1: Living Room Group Passcase Jukebox (stock music) to Holly carrying on. Doyce passes. SC#2: TPiR Beauty Contest. 3rd Runner Up: Holly. 2nd runner up: Janice. 1st runner up: Dian. (whistles from the swimsuit competition. Winner: RODWEENA! Grand Prize Ford Mustang GT Convertible. Doyce is not bidding on Rodweena! Husband Michael comes up to congratulate Sylvia after Doyce's gambit fails. Part two of the article on Doyce.
| 2025-10-27 | 2 PM Pluto/5 PM 10/31/25 BUZZR | 7065D | Yes | Announcement of the winner of the 1988 HVS. IUFB#1: Santa Bears. PG#1: Bob is moving the show along, Dorothy is dilly-dallying around!! Fifth consecutive PG#1 won -- sixth if you count a chip in the middle over a week ago in Plinko! IUFB#2: Energetic Older Contestant #5 Helen does get some time, even with the HVS announcement. PG#2: Margarita didn't Make Friends at all, but pegged the clock better than the other three. Subaru GL Wagon. Bob trying to hustle stymies the contestant a little bit -- she got a bit tongue-tied checking the rules. 6-4 (right)-2-6 (right). $11,446. IUFB#3: Bob and Holly were having some words about Bob wearing shoes he felt comfortable in. PG#3: Michael is on leave and wants to go on that photographic African safari. Missed the first one, we all thought he missed the second! Didn't get the hidden with even the one he missed. IUFB#4: Contestant #7 Frank was right and close by -- but Pluto, at least on the initial airing, missed the commercial past the IUFB announcement. PG#4: Helen gets CLANGERS and wins up. IUFB#5: And the mistimings of the commercials continue, though less pronounced. PG#5: Franklin makes the comeback all the way from no numbers (one drawn) with two strikes to win on the full count! And now it appears the entire episode is out of joint, which can sometimes happen on Fremantle. PG#6: June Makes Friends and wins up. 5/6 day, Bob kept the shenanigans to a minimum. SCSD#1: And June adds a grand on the wheel! And Franklin makes it a bonus spin spinoff! TW June, RU Michael. SC#1: What To Do When It Gets Cold. ("Let It Snow") Bake cookies in a microwave range. Keep them warm near a fireplace. Wax your ski package. Head for the snow in your Grand Prize, a Mitsubishi Montero SUV. June bids. SC#2: What To Do When It Gets Hot. (Spiro Gyra) Keep cool under a ceiling fan. Prepare a cold drink on a soda fountain. Party in a spa, with Janice in a towel. (Janice and whistles not included) Go Jump In The Lake with your Grand Prize Glastron-Carlson 16' Ski Boat. Michael wins, June doesn't cover the SUV, the commercials are so off, we get the result before they cut to the last commercial. The Home Viewer Showcase is shown ("Sleigh Ride") during the credits, but the winner is NOT. Thanks to the TPiREpGuide, we do get that information: The winner was Pamela Crouse of Winston-Salem, NC, who aced the exact dollar-and-cent amount of $71,685.85. Alexb1186 with a newspaper article on Pamela.
| 2025-10-27 | 3 PM Pluto/5 PM 11/1/25 BUZZR | 7074D | No | Two-show Christmas Week, decorations are up! Bob remarks on the decorations. IUFB#1: Animated Christmas dolls, Mr. and Mrs. Santa with an elf helper. PG#1: Kathleen Makes Friends and Scrooges James. She wins up, bah humbug. And Kathleen does not know how to play Check Game, even after Bob explains it to her! Off to a rousing start, this Christmas Week! Not quite as bad as the other contestant a few shows ago, but close! PG#2: James tries to Scrooge Linda, Elsie wins up instead. And Elsie wins a nice Christmas Club fund for herself and her family! No graphic or fanfare. PG#3: Jeep Comanche Pioneer Not only no zeroes on the first prize mop, but the contestant has no clue how to play Ten Chances, and thinks the mop is $5.19. One Discord viewer during the impromptu viewing was, "WHERE DO THEY FIND THESE PEOPLE??" 9430 followed by... 9431... And 9341... And after three Zero Rule violations, she somehow trips over the correct price on Chance #10 ($9310). SCSD#1: Elsie doesn't get it all the way around, and gets booed TWICE! IUFB#4: Pet Adoption Segment, after Rod screws up (probably after the Jeep Truck in 10C) and calls the trunks trucks. PG#4: More Scrooging, but Contestant #7 Frances wins up. Another easy setup for Bump. And Frances refuses the gifts -- $1805 for a 1988 washer and dryer????? IUFB#5: Early Fashion With Rod: Christmasy red jacket and tie with a green shirt! IUFB is a print of comic-strip Nancy! PG#5: Buick Skylark Custom Sedan. 1 right on the first go. Wins 2. PG#6: ME for trips: Hawaii, Aspen, Mexico City. 0/3 second half. TW Kathleen, RU James (who came with his parents). SC#1: Dining Room Passcase. Catamaran Grand Prize. Kathleen passes. SC#2: TPiR Christmas Carol (Mannheim Steamroller Christmas Carols -- We Three Kings, I Heard The Bells On Christmas Day, Hark The Herald Angels Sing) Player piano, Projection TV, and a Ford Taurus L Grand Prize. Our intrepid Discord viewers spotted that, since the reference on the TV was to watching football, they put an actual college game on the TV, Baylor vs. TCU, October 22, 1988. Alexb1186 with a news article about Contestant #9 Susan Quaries, where we find out the value of the CNAOS prizes was about $217.
| 2025-10-27 | 4 PM Pluto/5 PM 11/2/25 BUZZR | 7075D | No | Christmas Show 1988, and the first game is appropriate for the occasion! Bob enters from the audience (all three doors were needed for Road), a Christmas tree is now in the back center of the audience. IUFB#1: The tree in question, after Santa Bob states he came down the chimney. PG#1: Grand Prize: $43,000+ Fleetwood Topwind Motorhome 25M. (Not tried, see below -- and see note) The tight camera shot actually showed the full price of the first-prize desk, but Fehrbors wasn't able to see it from his angle. He wants the wood type on the table. And gets fooled into picking a duplicate number! IUFB#2: Energetic Older Contestant #5 Elwood. PG#2: Matthew plays Scrooge and wins up. Came back after a 0 and got them all! Five consecutive PG#2s won to go into Christmas! Our Discord viewers note a very stage-intensive first half -- Road, a 4-prizer, and Plinko -- only ten shows all time had that combination at any point in the show! Only four had that in the first half, and the other three had Plinko second. IUFB#3: Contestant #6 Betty is really happy, hugging everybody and expressing Joy To The World! Janice gets the bonus promo backwards and needs a hand! PG#3: More Scrooging, but the wrong one, and Elwood wins up with a whoop! But he only won 2 SP, so 3 chips, which Elwood places quite low: STUCK-0-0-100 -- and Scrooge strikes again, a known-lowest win in Plinko history!!! Dian given an on-mic moment to throw us to commercial. IUFB#4: Contestant #7 Name Hall of Fame Swchllyn, pronounced pretty close to Solomon. PG#4: And Swchllyn almost wipes out coming around to see MGHSH for the a Buick Skyhawk Coupe being driven out. Only time this season any car game was played fourth. And a two-pick wipeout! IUFB#5: Early Fashion With Rod: Shiny green vest and tie, shiny red shirt, no takers on the mistletoe. Holly klutzes it up on the IUFB drum set. PG#5: No Grocery Game sign due to the turntable Christmas decorations. And 1/5 on the Christmas show so far! OUCH! And Scrooge is in full effect -- a 1/6 Christmas Show! SCSD#2: And another set of Christmas boos -- and I'm not talking the liquor in the eggnog! And an auto-win for the top IUFB winner. SC#1: Splendido Double Living Room Passcase. Spa Grand Prize. TW Matthew passes to RU Mary-Kay. SC#2: Santa visits the good little girls ("Santa Claus Is Coming To Town"). IBM DOS 3.3 computer, Swords of Fury pinball machine, jukebox, Grand Prize Caribbean Cruise. This is becoming a Christmas show to forget -- Santa Bob was out of gifts, apparently! Mary-Kay wins with a better bid than we expected and Matthew gets cheaped out.
| 2025-11-03 | 5 PM/7 PM | 7085D | No | New Year's 1988-89 Show. Rod's voice seems a bit out of sorts during the First Four. PG#1: Dolly claims to be very familiar with Clock Game. And she well appears to. Dolly may be angling for divorce, though -- claiming Bob is more handsome than her husband??? IUFB#2: Energetic Older Contestant #5 Albert is a little TOO energetic, getting laughs from the audience. GOBACKEN SIDONNA!!! PG#2: And, as usually happens, Albert wins right back up. And it's the Big 3X for a Cadillac Sedan DeVille! ($26,470) Full count... PG#3: James tries to Make Friends for the second IUFB in a row, no one can price a ring close, and they have to do it again. If James had bid $1 the first time, he wins it -- so he does it again. And, in a rarity, he DOES win it that time. James has a girlfriend for that ring, and, even as a bachelor, she does most of the shopping! And no clue how to price toothpaste at all. SCSD#1: Eventful Showdown gets two Spinoffs and $1,000 on the second spinoff! The sound booth appears to go into Hurry Up Mode after that. IUFB#4: Contestant #7 Dawn is both RIP Headphones (screaming) and RIP microphone before the IUFB even comes out! They almost-certainly edited to fix the mic before the bid. PG#4: And Dawn wins up. And that game is definitely in Hurry-Up Mode -- but Rod isn't so much in the halftime spiel. Probable edit before IUFB#5. PG#5: And the last two spots in CR are 5/5 in total -- someone is going to the FFBC. 4 hurried punches. 500+SC for 50=550-100-250-wins 500. PG#6: And Contestant #9 Susan makes it four wins from the last spot and two from the third -- and two souls for the FFBC. Sudden death gets her an $8.60 case of OINK to wrap up 1988. The entire second half was Hurry Up after that first SCSD. SCSD#2: And Kristi adds another grand to her $500 on the wheel! Somewhat close for more. TW Kristi, RU James, handshake before we commence. SC#1: Train Depot. (Chattanooga-Choo Choo) Console Table, High-End Range (with canned audience effects), Grand Prize Kimball Grand Piano. Kristi passes. SC#2: TPiR New Year's Resolutions: Dian: Telephones to keep up with her friends. Holly: No junk food, so veggies in a greenhouse. Rod: Exercising on home gym. Janice: Fresh air and tan in a Chevrolet Cavalier Z-24 Convertible! Kristi gave it a flier, James was closer. Bob and James wish everyone a Happy New Year! Still of James winning in the credits.
| 2025-11-04 | 5 PM/7 PM | 7092D | No | First episode aired in 1989. Contestant #1 Maria needs a bit more prompting from Rod to Come On Down. IUFB#1: CHUGGS, carrying a kid's train bed. PG#1: Toyota 2WD truck. And Bob must've gotten drunk over New Years'. He gets the models mixed up as the True-False portion starts, calling Dian Holly! George, married 42 years, gets chided by Bob when George admits he knows nothing about perfume. 2 picks. Cheap truck: $8363. IUFB#2: Energetic Older Contestant #5 Beulah from Holly Springs, NC gets a little time. PG#2: Diane wins CLANGERS and gets her $100 from Bob's pocket. Bottom of range is $7,700 for a Bambino sport boat. Advisory: Can't start it again. Won by $3! ($7,985) IUFB#3: Contestant #6 Danny Lawler is thrilled by being selected, and cavorts with Kevin! SCSD#1: A boo and a grand for that situation. PG#4: Kevin's excitement continues when he wins up. IUFB#5: And Contestant #8 Merrill might not have heard his name and needed Rod to say it again! PG#5: Beulah Makes Friends and wins up. Subaru DL Sedan. ($10,156) 3 right on the first try. IUFB#6: Fashion With Rod: Multicolored jacket, but, even though he bought 250 custom ties in Thailand during the previous summer break, no tie! 0/3 second half for the fourth consecutive show with two or fewer winners! TW Maria, RU Beulah. SC#1: Splendido Living Room Passcase with Rod taped over. Projection TV and Satellite Dish included. Maria passes. SC#2: Rod's Jackets. He changes into several other jackets (copy pre-taped). Checkered for a workshop, shiny gold for a piano, shiny striped jacket for Grand Prize Chrysler LeBaron convertible! Dian and Holly model two other jackets. Maria wins it, missing only $173!! Bob "injured" at the close, changing his sign-off to "goodbye forever" (LMAO)! (Beulah missed only about $600, but was over.) A newspaper article (two months before the fact, paper was 11/19/88!) on Beulah's appearance by Alexb1186.
| 2025-11-05 | 5 PM/7 PM | 7093D | No | PG#1: Judith Makes Friends, but Doris wins up. Doris has a cold, so she begs off kissing Bob, but believes Bob is gorgeous! Easy setup. IUFB#2: Energetic Older Contestant #5 Mary. Mary was apparently either a contestant or an audience member on Truth or Consequences! Pet Adoption Segment. PG#2: Pontiac Sunbird SE Coupe. ($9,530) Changes at least one number, but Bob does not give her a chance at the second (and apparently that stands, no Technical Win!!), so she loses the $2500+ in prizes. IUFB#3: Contestant #6 Melvin wanted a hello to a friend in the commercial, Bob begs off, no time! :) Holly, as Elvis, models a Gibson guitar! PG#3: The Hit Me neon lights inside the "cards" in the display are still broken. And the contestant can't do multiplication right. SCSD#1: Redeems himself with $1,000 on the Wheel, though. And TW Doris gets booed for trying to chintz. Some tracking issues are noted in the stream at this point, getting really pronounced by the end of the Showdown. IUFB#4: And an all-over through the digital snow. And a second, as it appears to clear a bit. Some audio mini-glitches through the segment. PG#5: Mary wins up, with CLANGERS! MGHSH for a Nissan Sentra E. Won all 5 cards, picked low numbers. R-C-A -- won in three picks. C-A... IUFB#6: Fashion With Rod: Silver and blue shiny jacket and tie. PG#6: Someone Makes Friends, but Bob needed a replacement in his pocket -- Contestant #9 Jody won up with CLANGERS immediately! That's better -- 4/6, 3/3 second half. Our research staff found something interesting: ME and 1RP in the second half -- only done 10 times in show history, three in this season. Rod screws up the CNAOS bit, kinda -- it is technically all of the contestants not appearing on stage, since you aren't a contestant until you are called down. Another spoiled newspaper story from about two weeks after the taping (and six before the airing!) about Jody from alex1183b. TW Mary, RU Melvin. SC#1: Little-Known Planets. Hiptunes for a stereo system, Uplayus for a Continental Circuit video game, Jupitrout for an Aeroglass fishing boat Grand Prize. Mary passes. SC#2: Main Street. Melvin wins an expensive ski boat after Mary goes over -- reaction freeze-frame during the credits.
| 2025-11-06 | 5 PM/7 PM | 7094D | No | Rod tongue-tied again at the open. Many whistles and screams for Bob at the open, gaining compliment. IUFB#1: Bob is afraid of Holly in that IUFB pedal racer. PG#1: And Marilyn is very proficient at Clock Game! So well, Bob has to ad lib a bit before commercial! Roger found on camera for some banter while Bob is killing time. PG#2: Melvin and Alan both Make Friends, not on each other, Alan wins up. Holly unable to open the Whirlpool refrigerator -- probably better, that and it's not a Gibson. IUFB#3: Contestant #6 Robert Hughes has just had his day made by being called down -- and wants everybody to know it! PG#3: And Robert and Delores both Make Friends, on each other and somebody else, Delores wins up for a shot at the car. Ace Suspension Rule is in force, and is used on the first draw. Draws a second and goes about $1000 too far. SCSD#1: And Delores obviously has no clue, she adds a boo to her complete miss. So what happens? She wins. PG#4: Original airing day's YouTube Clip of the Day, because Marine Melvin's knees are a bit questionable, and it's Race Game! Apparent edit since the scoreboard and clock didn't wanna work. I guess you don't have to worry about the knees, the clock, or the scoreboard if you get it all right in one shot, 11 seconds -- two off the then-record from 5534D. (see note) IUFB#5: Early Fashion With Rod: Yankee Doodle Dandy (or so says Bob) in a red and white striped coat and tie with a blue vest. And Contestant #8 Kelly is also injured -- she her right wrist in a plastic cast. PG#5: Deborah tries to Make Friends, but all are over. So she tries again, and wins up. Subaru GL Wagon. She reverse-hands the rolls: 3-3-2 (almost a craps "no roll")-1. Goes with the odds except the first 3. $11,446. Same wagon and options as 12/16/88. IUFB#6: Rod and Janice both need the prop department to raise the barrier so the contestants can see the lawn mower and Rod can begin his copy on it! PG#6: Jukebox (Stock music), with both Holly and Janice carrying on! Another possible edit. Someone's not on the ball today. Our crack staff indicates this is the second-to-last playing with the $1-6 range and $5-6 victory range. Same exact breakdown as the show before: WLLWWW for a 3/3 back half and 4/6 show. SCSD#2: Close call for TW Deborah. TW Robert, RU Delores. SC#1: Bedroom and Grandfather Clock (w/chimes) Passcase. Crowd whoops when we might've gotten a little more of Janice in her nightgown than bargained for. Snowmobile Grand Prize. SC#2: Ride of a Lifetime. Riverboat Trip, Hot Air Balloon Trip, Grand Prize 2-week Cruise of the Orient. (No trips chained) Redemption Complete - surprisingly expensive trips means Delores wins. And, to no one's shock, the denotation of edits for broadcast.
| 2025-11-07 | 5 PM/7 PM | 7095D | No | Audience entrance. Bob jokes about the ticket-takers. PG#1: Lisa can't wait to Make Friends and win up. Pontiac LeMans AeroCoupe for the putt-putt. One of only two times ever Hole was played first both in S17, and this was the last of the two. Inspiration (Holly does the honors -- YT Clip of the Day): Well, you're qualified to be a model... Contestant Putt: Drains it! IUFB#3: Brenda LaFontaine is Contestant #6 and is a bit tongue-tied at Bob's banter about her name. PG#3: Ira Makes Friends and wins up. IUFB#5: Early Fashion With Rod: Blue and red striped jacket and tie, yellow shirt. Bob doesn't think Rod has been getting enough sleep -- Rod reports he's up riding his bicycle. Janice, interestingly, holds the brand nameplate up to the mirror of the IUFB vanity set -- it apparently was made mirrored, as the name came out precisely, to the audience's amusement. PG#5: Donald wins up after an all-over, and gets to win some amount of money. Baby seat was stuck a second. 3 SP, so 4 chips: 0-LOOK OUT!! Redo...-STUCK-1000-0-STUCK-0 -- all that for a measly grand. Bob was left muttering to Janice about Donald before attempt #7. IUFB#6: Sounds like Contestant #9 Lakisha's name needed a post-tape. PG#6: One of the two Marys wins up to try to win a Subaru Justy GL. Wins at Sudden Death. TW Mary, RU Ira. SC#1: Romantic Hideaways, starting with a trip to San Diego, one to Key West, with Athens, Greece (not chained). A replica London Roadster is the Grand Prize! Mary likes the car. And isn't close! Ira wins SC#2: Dining Room Second. Morantz A/V system, and then a living room on top of it! Even at over $16,000, Ira would've won her Showcase by bidding $1.
| 2025-11-10 | 5 PM/7 PM | 7101D | No | Platinum Star Contestant makes a Gold Star show. PG#1: Jayshree wins up -- turntable spoils Key, day of original streaming's YouTube Clip of the Day. Truck for Key: Toyota 2WD Standard-bed. Both keys. Trash compactor with the first. IUFB#2: Energetic Older Contestant #5: Gino Colachita. Watching for years, finally made it on on his second attempt. Bob jokes with Gino about not being picked two years ago. PG#2: No joke or advisory. PG#3: Brian Makes Friends third and gets away with it! Brian has watched the entire series to date. Draws: Nines up on fives. Passes Other Hand: Fives up on zeroes. Maybe Fremantle finally got the hint: They faded to black as Bob was finishing with his announcement of the SCSD#1 winner -- maybe they finally have the system down for the ticket plug edits. We'll see... IUFB#4: CONTESTANT CLASSIC: Two interesting things about very much older contestant #7 Jerry: One, she's bringing her purse with her! Two? GOBACKEN SIDONNA!!! She's going to eat up all the remaining shenanigans time, and may take Fashion With Rod with it!!! She's apparently 91 years young (see note) -- and then we find out she basically knew she was a Gobacken Sidonna, and was screwing around in the first place. If you weren't 91 years old, woman... And she hangs her purse on her microphone, blocking part of the display! Rod has lost it -- and we aren't far behind!! And all that for a bid of $200, which Bob completely slams as out of date! PG#4: After ALL THAT, Kelly Makes Friends and wins up. Holly outdoes the models for Bump: Mexican overlay for a trip to Mexico, rips it off for a red one-piece for a trip to Hawaii. Before IUFB#5: Edit for postcard plug, and we got Jerry's purse off the scoreboard! By the time Jerry bids, Bob is now convinced someone has written her material! And, as probably could be predicted, the entire segment, at minimum, is in Hurry Up Mode. IUFB#6: Yep, the whole show is, Fashion With Rod is, at best, glossed over, and the IUFB is hustled on. Jerry needs to bid and not commentate. No, instead, after that bid of $3000, we'll take the commentary!!! If this show has not been edited for original broadcast... PG#6: The contestant at least helped on time, if not winning the car -- lightning-quick strikeout on four picks. CNAOS camera focuses only on Jerry. TW Merri, RU Brian. The 3X strikeout has fixed our time issues. SC#1: Lifestyles of the Ridiculously Rich and Sort Of Famous (to the theme of the Robin Leach show). Grand Prize Ford Probe GL Hatchback. Merri bids. And we find out Merri's husband is a car dealer -- a FORD dealership!! (Is she eligible???) SC#2: ERITH. Piano Grand Prize. Brian wins when Merri overbids and still doesn't have her Ford. No denotations of editing or eligibility problems.
| 2025-11-11 | 5 PM/7 PM | 7102D | No | Rod a little jumpy on Contestant #4 Chari -- she needed a moment to get out of her row. IUFB#1: Chari then bids "ten hundred", and does not win up. PG#1: Melissa gets a shot at the PYL Classic Flokati Rug! or... A Geo Metro LSi. ($7623) Fifth consecutive PG#1 win. IUFB#2: Energetic Older Contestant #5 Angela doesn't get much time -- probably too concerned from Jerry! PG#2: Chari wins up this time. Janice was asked to demonstrate the drums -- after which she tossed one of the sticks to Bob, who gave it back. Janice reveals the price upside down, so Bob with a completely tasteless joke at her expense. Holly gets the last words, though, as not only did she go after Bob for his snide remark, she'll make Bob wait for the price reveal on her tag! PG#3: As happens quite a bit, an all-over is followed by CLANGERS. SCSD#1: Couple of close calls for the money. And they're back to the clunkier ticket-plug edit. IUFB#4: Contestant #7 Martina is from a rowdy group in the corner from Stanford, Branner Hall specifically -- the entire group playing hooky. IUFB#5: Bob picking on Contestant #2 Darren, who had Ginger, the winner from the last one-bid, next to him the whole show. So they find Contestant #8 Thomas from the Marines to keep him company. PG#5: One contestant Makes Friends, and they'll have to find Darren a new friend -- Thomas has won up already through the second CLANGERS of the day! Another Pontiac Sunbird SE Coupe. ($9,48irrelevant) IUFB#6: Fashion With Rod time! Multicolored striped jacket with a white ambassador sash from Thailand. Darren wants a hint to escape the FFBC. PG#6: He doesn't -- Contestant #9 Laura does not blow it -- the entire second half came from the leftmost spot. 3 SP. SCSD#1: Petite little Ginger doesn't get the wheel all the way around and gets the business. She does, however, earn a spinoff with Thomas at 70. And Thomas wins the spinoff -- at 70. TW Chari, RU Thomas. SC#1: Bedroom Passcase. Grand Prize, Russia takes a Moscow trip with you. Chari decides to bid, takes forever, and promptly barfs the bid. $2,500 Showcase in 1988???!?!?!? SC#2: The Parking Garage, with echo! Ski Boat Grand Prize (Glastron 16' Outboard). Bob makes a reference to that any fur stuff in the second Showcase is synthetic fur. Neither was close at all, but Chari's bid was so far off, Thomas wins and gets his wish to hug Barker's Beauties! Long credits.
| 2025-11-12 | 5 PM/7 PM | 7103D | No | Rod's voice a bit interesting during the First Four. PG#1: Joaquin (pronounced like Jacqueline) Makes Friends, screams, wins up, mobs Bob, and immediately fangirls. She's a bit flustered, but appears to know Check Game. Inflation is finally going to hit The Price is Right: Several of the games with price ranges are being changed in the next few weeks. Take that back: MORE than a bit flustered. That's six in a row for PG#1 now. IUFB#2: Energetic Older Contestant #5 Harry is here with a church group. PG#2: Buick Skyhawk Coupe. ($9810) PG#3: Henry Makes Friends twice, there's a CLANGERS after an all-over, and it was with the player Henry tried to Make Friends with the second time! 3/3 first half! PG#4: Henry tries to Make Friends again (third), but Julie wins up. PG#5: Let's Hear It For Blind Luck -- he wasn't close on a number of the prices, but, adding up all the misses got him within 50c of the total... IUFB#6: Fashion With Rod: Rod has broken out one of the previous striped shiny jackets and ties, and Bob thinks he may look like George Ratlish. PG#6: Paul Makes Friends at $2 as MaryAnn gets stupid. Subaru Justy 4WD. WIPEOUT!!!!!!! ($8963, guessed $6745, see note) SCSD#2: Julie snags a grand at the wheel. And make it six -- for the YouTube Clip of the Day. TW Julie, RU Joaquin (and look out, Bob, if Joaquin wins - the Loyola Marymount contingent is LOUD!). SC#1: Splendido (after a small early subversion) Dining Room (w/chandelier) Passcase. Jukebox Grand Prize ("Pump Up The Volume"), Janice and Holly dancing -- looks to be Holly with the hips. Julie passes. SC#2: Salute TV's Best Shows: Trip to Vermont (Newhart), Trailer (Little House on the Prairie), and a Jeep Wrangler Sahara (M*A*S*H) Grand Prize. Theme songs used. Look out Bob!!! Julie overbid by less than $200. "Pump Up The Volume" takes us out, as a couple of the Loyola Marymount contingent start heading toward the stage, but are apparently stopped -- because where two start, 20 would've followed!
| 2025-11-13 | 5 PM/7 PM | 7104D | No | PG#1: Shirley had some problems with a gimme setup, and also pulled the wheel instead of the handle on the safe. Seven in a row now for PG#1. IUFB#2: Energetic Older Contestant #5 Joseph, after some shenanigans between Bob and Rod about being ready actually threw off the producers, fading to and then from the audience partially... PG#2: Felicia effectively Makes Friends after her initial bid was taken -- then she wins up. Chevy Spectrum Hatchback Coupe. Bob riffles the range cards face-up a second -- he was checking out something. Felicia doesn't know Card Game. Bob wants Joseph up here -- in Felicia's shirt! And another ace to start, which forces full explanation of the Ace Rule. And she nails the bid within $200!! PG#3: All over, then CLANGERS for Joseph (No, not the contestant who bid $1 the second time!)... YouTube Clip of the Day, LFaT Joseph gets to play PLUNKO! Only 2 SP, so 3 chips. STUCK-1000-STUCK AGAIN-1000-1000=$3,000, all three 1000s in the same left slot. IUFB#4: Michael, sit down you idiot! You aren't Contestant #7! IUFB, finally, on TUGGS for the first time this drop. PG#4: Contestant counts singles far too early in most cases, not in this one, but stops just before the right price and has to backtrack. Possible edit to double-check to make sure she actually DID say it on the return trip. PG#5: Suzuki Sidekick. One of the grocery signs is falling out of it's flag! Inspiration: Janice's turn this time. She pushes it left after massive shenanigans involving Bob with both her and Holly. Contestant: Too hard and it went over the hole. Second putt: Pulled it right. Quickly to commercial. IUFB#6: Fashion With Rod: Green, blue, and orange striped coat and tie. Models mannequin for the sweaters IUFB. PG#6: Double Prices, with the grandfather clock in the Clam -- or, as Bob calls it, the Clambo. We do believe that's a first. SCSD#2: Second contestant beats the first, and nearly follows her off the stage before the TW can spin! The TW then draws boos before she does, in fact, send the second spinner off to win. TW Jodi, RU Joseph SC#1: Every Member of the Family, Looking Like Bob: Baby (Brass Cradle), kids (Train sets), Big Sis (Dollhouse), and Mom and Dad (Grand Prize Caribbean Cruise). Jodi passes. SC#2: Cheerleaders (with UCLA pompons in the right section): A (Amsterdam Trip), C (Cannes Trip), R (Rio Trip, all three chained). C-A-R: Grand Prize (Pontiac Grand-Am SE Sedan) Joseph wins by less than $100!!! Wife Betty, another LFaT, joins for congratulations, still with her pompon!
| 2025-11-14 | 5 PM/7 PM | 7105D | No | Lot of energy out of the First Four. Another audience looking at themselves in the monitors... PG#1: Jennifer Makes Friends on Shirley, Shirley with the dirty look, William wins up. William a little too slow for Bob. Holly almost trips in her duties, and one of the prizes which would lose, their tag was stuck. And William's victory, the eighth in a row for PG#1, was the YouTube Clip of the Day. IUFB#2: Energetic Older Contestant #5 Harry gets a moment to chat. PG#2: Shirley wins up, safe from further Making of Friends. Buick Skylark Custom Sedan. 1 (right)-5-2-2 going with odds. PG#3: The final playing of rules with tradition going all the way back to 0012D, the second episode: This is the final Grocery Game playing with the $6.75-$7.00 win range. And probably another good impression as to why the limits were changed: At least the last six Grocery Game playings before the change all were lost. SCSD#1: Spinoff at 70. Bounce edit for the ticket plug, and right to Contestant #7 and IUFB#4 as it appears Fremantle is out of sync again. And we get through the entire IUFB/PG#4 segment, no commercial at all. Edit for postcard plug again, before we finally go to commercial. And THEN BUZZR goes back and replays the entire IUFB/PG#4 segment again! And then another commercial, this time properly placed. IUFB#6: Fashion With Rod: Striped coat and tie, two shades of blue, red shirt and handkerchief! PG#6: Jennifer escapes the FFBC with a $1 bid. Subaru GL 4-Door Sedan. 2 right on first attempt. AND ACES THE SWITCH!!! TW William, RU Mary SC#1: Living Room Passcase. Spa Grand Prize. William passes. SC#2: What to do when it starts to snow. (to a Charlie Brown Christmas set of music)... Grand Prize Ford Bronco 4x2 SUV/Truck ("Let It Snow") William wins. $25,000 Club with $26,570. The errors mentioned above are apparently BUZZR-only (previous shows on BUZZR for that day on the original airdate may have been mistimed) -- both Plex and Pluto were checked later in the day and shown to be correct.
| 2025-11-17 | 4:30 PM Pluto/5 PM BUZZR | 7111D | Yes | Bob with a quip from a stagehand about his blue outfit. IUFB#1: MGHSH mid-show plug music. PG#1: Ralph was not expecting he won, and gets the business from Bob as a result. Interesting Money Game setup -- every X3 combination from 03 to 93 except 53. Bob with the stall job on the first two numbers. Then Ralph screws up, and Bob tells him his next choice was probably one of the other first-two choices. El Cheapo then trips him up. ($8363) PG#2: Cynthia Makes Friends, Deanna wins up. Deanna tries to take the mints as her first choice -- literally. Bells and whoops! And a Pluto commercial misfire. IUFB#3: Holly modeling the color TV from the video on it's screen! PG#3: Sheryl Makes Friends, Contestant #6 Patricia wins up. Easy set-up -- includes a table from Thailand. (Hold that thought.) SCSD#1: Spinoff at 80 -- lots of spins close to booing on a tight wheel. IUFB#4: Energetic Older Contestant #7 this time -- Lyle. (I guess Ralph would count as well.) PG#4: Cynthia is a newlywed and could well use that armoire -- and she has it! PG#5: No zero in the first prize, two Zero Rule violations on the car. IUFB#6: Pet Adoption Segment PG#6: Lyle Makes Friends, and BUCK YOU is 0 for 3 today -- Contestant #9 Leslie won up. First 3 SP. SCSD#2: Lyle is setting up a big party for the Showdown contestants and their spouses -- and the entire audience! (Maybe not the latter... Bob's trying to get in on this.) TW Deanna, RU Cynthia. SC#1: Two Bedrooms Big Banana Passcase. Grand Piano Grand Prize. Deanna passes. SC#2: Rod The Ambassador. Today's YouTube Clip of the Day. Province of Changhai in Thailand -- 6n trip to Bangkok. Blue jacket, red sash for more Fashion with Rod. Grand Prize Chevy Caprice Sedan. They juiced up both Showcases, Deanna wins hers with the Caprice. $37,887 for Deanna in a BIG BIG WIN...
| 2025-11-17 | 5:30 PM Pluto/5 PM 11/18/25 BUZZR | 7112D | No | Oh, we've got a live one here.... PG#1: 50-100-50-OPEN THEM ALL, including the top prize snowmobile! IUFB#2: Three of the first five contestants are male -- a rarity for the show. IUFB#3: Another guy for Contestant #6 -- strapping young dude Scott, who gets a quick chat with Bob before we start. Bob points out that the group Contestant #1 Ralph came with is making him a wreck -- but at least he wasn't the one who bid $1 second! PG#2: But Victor got away with the latter! Geo Metro LSi Coupe. ($7150) Bob wants more moaning for the strikes. PG#4: $7600 on the low end -- player piano. Contestant Ralph screaming to the audience for advice. Advisory: Can't start it again. And the range finder completely missed his cue by about $30!! Ralph missed it by more than that. IUFB#5: "Bob Barkerian" tells a story of how he became a hit at a San Fernando Valley event. PG#5: Slight jump of the gun on the eight on the case of OINK. Sudden death... And he wins $8.03 of OINK. ($9147 on the car.) IUFB#6: Fashion with "Hot Rod": Multicolored chalkish jacket and tie, red shirt. PG#6: Cheryl Makes Friends and wins up. And a sloppy dealer appears to show the house had 21 off the rip, so Cheryl may have her work cut out. Neon still out. Nope, the dealer had 19, but Cheryl found the right two products off the bat, so it didn't matter if the house had 21. SCSD#2: Ralph's excitement continues -- he gets 90 in one spin. And Bob's needling of Ralph continues, we have a spinoff at 90 after three close calls to beat him. So he gets 15 in the spinoff... And Bob has to caution him to watch his head when his opponent only gets 5! TW Ralph, RU Victor SC#1: Island Hopping -- first to Catalina via helicopter (Holly in a magenta and black two-piece), Hawaii (Dian in a red two-piece she's almost falling out of), Greek Islands (Janice in an orange one-piece -- trips not chained), Regal Marine Ski Boat Grand Prize. Ralph passes. And Victor's wife revolted at his $5000 bid. SC#2: Starcrossed Showcase, trip to Monte Carlo to start. Gameroom (jukebox, pool table, spa). LOOK OUT, here comes Ralph!!!
| 2025-11-17 | 6:27 PM Pluto/5 PM 11/19/25 BUZZR | 7113D | No | Contestant #3 George's T-shirt: "I Love Barker's Beauties" He confesses he likes Bob, but the Beauties better. PG#1: John Makes Friends and wins up. John caught what the game was on the television set prize. He claims to be an LFaT. Needed to get there the long way, but did it perfectly. IUFB#2: Contestant #5 Ronald from the Air Force ejected his way on down. PG#2: Buick Skyhawk Coupe. Rod needed to find the fourth gift's copy. $2,058 in prizes, including $611 in cash. Goes for it. And the one change she needed, you can figure out -- as is usually the case in Temptation. Sporatic (and seemingly random) Pluto errors throughout the initial airing. IUFB#3: Janice bumps Contestant #6 Joanne with the prize on the way off. All-overbid. PG#3: George wins up. And, in continuing with the recent inflation theme, this is the final playing of Bullseye with the $5-6 winning range. George confuses with Grocery Game. More bounce edits after SCSD#1. IUFB#4: Energetic Older Contestant #7 Clyde leads to a discussion of Navy Cadet Clyde "Smackover" Scott for some strange reason. And they all overbid the PYL Flokati Rug. PG#4: Holly successfully navigates the Gibson kitchen! Another edited postcard plug -- PHG returns soon! PG#5: Ronald Makes Friends and wins up. Subaru GL Sedan ($10,156) 2 SP - for 4 cards. Bails with the $2000. R-C-R-C... And I think Bob said he might have 2 C's and 2 R's... IUFB#6: Contestant #9 Joan almost fell in her row and barely made it to Contestants' Row. PG#6: Janice doesn't quite re-close the cabinet. SCSD#2: Close call. TW Ronald, RU John -- another rare double-male Showcase. SC#1: Department Store. Grand Prize African Safari. Ronald passes. SC#2: ("Close Encounters of the Third Kind") Holly has a "Close Encounter.... Camping equipment, from which the UFO steals a video camera, motorcycle, and Grand Prize Jeep Wrangler S. So then they take Holly -- you can clearly see the safety wires. LFaT John wins, Ronald slightly overbid. A denotation of edit for broadcast is made.
| 2025-11-17 | 8:20 PM Pluto/5 PM 11/20/25 BUZZR | 7114D | No | Whooping during the open has Bob joke there are Indians in the audience. That didn't get edited? IUFB#1: And it's Holly (and Janice) and a Gibson refrigerator -- which the bottom bar of it falls off when they try to open it! PG#1: And another two pick wipeout on the truck. Thought it was 9800, it was 9200 after picking the 8 for the first pick... IUFB#2: Contestant #5 Carole is a warrant officer in the Marine Corps. All-over. PG#2: Charles, of the Navy, wins up. Only wins one additional X, but didn't need the other! IUFB#3: CHUGGS. PG#3: Holly dresses up as a kangaroo for the Australia trip. PG#4: Contestant April is handed the remote to her television set prize by Holly. And, true to the inflation, this is the last playing of Check Game with the $3000-3500 range. While Bob explains the game to April, Janice is trying to fix Bob's hair on the picture of the screen! She gets the explanation down clean without further incident... AND ACES IT ON THE NUMBER! (see note) IUFB#5: Early Fashion with Rod: Four-colored striped jacket and tie -- with flirtatious model (probably Dian) with her hands all over his face... PG#5: Kathleen Makes Friends, Carole wins up. Subaru DL Wagon. ($10,606) Carole says she is a horrible putter. Won't have to be good now -- she's got $500 and a nine-inch putt! Inspiration: Drained. Contestant: After Janice got her to calm down a little, she drains that for the $10000+ station wagon. IUFB#6: Holly plays the electric guitar, we think... A great 3/3 second half. TW Kathleen, RU Theo. Two rather mundane Showcases. SC#1 was a Frickin' Random Boat Showcase saluting San Francisco, with a limo tour of the city during a trip. Kathleen passes. SC#2: Living Room Second, Spa Grand Prize. Audience is polled, they choose Theo first, he was within a thousand dollars, Kathleen went over by a small amount, Lois is urged to congratulate her husband during the spay and neuter call. Long credit roll.
| 2025-11-17 | 9:15 PM Pluto/5 PM 11/21/25 BUZZR | 7115D | No | Moved to March 23, 1989 due to Bush the Older's inauguration. Rod struggling to go over the crowd on the First Four. Bob's initial adulation is his favorite part of the show. PG#1: DiAnna Makes Friends and wins up, only because Josephine was $5 over. PG#2: Older Energetic Contestant #5 Alfred wins CLANGERS. (Not the guy next to him that bid $1.) Wife does all the shopping, Alfred a bit all over the place, but gets it done. Before IUFB#3: With the right spot 2/2, the rest get the business. And Josephine wants in the lucky spot! Contestant #6 Rebecca is a bride three days ago. Bob talked to Timothy, her new husband, about economics during the previous commercial. PG#3: Lincoln Continental. She guesses $12557 and Bob doesn't think she has them all. Only ONE right. She might just ace it easily. And then changes the 1 to a 3... Goes to $30,737 -- has the first three right (one more change to verify) and Pluto glitches. SCSD#1: $1,000 winner. IUFB#4: Holly almost bonks someone (herself?) in the head with the golf clubs. PG#4: Josephine Makes Friends in an unusual manner (bidding one above the highest, rather than giving the number) and wins up. She hustles pretty well for an older person, and prices VERY well! IUFB#6: Fashion With Rod: Shiny blue vest, purple shirt. Thirteenth consecutive (production) show with either 3 or 4/6. Only both car games lost. TW DiAnna, RU Todd. And now DiAnna has Bob tongue-tied -- her name was mispronounced the entire show! SC#1: Things for Kings. Chess set, King Kong on a big-screen TV with VCR, King size bed, Grand Prize MOTORHOME. Chapparal 21' Motorhome. DiAnna bids, and poorly. Todd wins SC#2: Dining Room Second. Grand Prize Honda VTR 250 Motorcycles.
| 2025-11-24 | 5 PM/7 PM | 7121D | No | Bob notes he always has the audience under control. PG#1: Michael has anger for someone Making Friends on him (Kathleen), but she doesn't win either - Margaret does. IUFB#2: Energetic Older Contestant #5 James. PG#2: Bill then Makes Friends with Kathleen (Bob notes the revenge!), but James wins. And then he wins all four punches: 100+Second Chance (500)=600-1000 (keeps). Last two: 50 and 500. Bob has Janice aid in the throw to commercial. IUFB#3: Contestant #6 Deborah was in shock at getting picked and took a bit longer! Bob gets tongue-tied. PG#3: No Making of Friends this time -- Kathleen wins up. MGHSH for a Nissan Sentra E. ($8869) Bob mocks Kathleen needing to know what kind of car it is. SCSD#1: Close call for Margaret. Before IUFB#4: Bob confuses Michael for Phil when the wife of the latter wants Phil to win a car! Contestant #7 Darlene is all business -- not only does she take off her coat and she feels warm and excited, she comes right on the stage and wants it straight! GOBACKEN SIDONNA!! PG#4: Phil wins up, but it won't be for a car at this point. Williams Fire! Pinball Machine is one of the prizes. (One of about 7700 made.) Phil is a firefighter. Outsmarted the audience. IUFB#5: Contestant #8 Gregory is a quick bound across CR to get to his place. PG#5: And quickly gets on stage when poor Darlene misses by only $6 over. IUFB#6: Fashion With Rod: Yellow and blue striped coat with tie, red shirt. Bob misdirects the camera to the CR-bound IUFB#6 clock -- meaning he blames the cameraman. PG#6: Michael tries to Make Friends again, Deborah wins up. YouTube Clip of the Day for a Mercury Tracer. ($9126) Full count after a slow start. 5/6 day, including the fifth PG#6 win in production order, and four such for PG#4. SCSD#2: And Gregory hangs on the peg to lose a grand. TW Phil, RU James -- another all-male SC round. SC#1: Spice Up Your Life. Ski Boat Grand Prize. Glastron 16'. Phil bids. SC#2: Train Depot, including a very complicated quick change for Holly. Spa Grand Prize. Dian in two-piece red swimsuit for both Showcases. Bob with tasteless comment as a response. James wins, audience was right that Phil went over, but probably by not as much as they thought.
| 2025-11-25 | 5 PM/7 PM | 7122D | Yes | Rest of the episodes for Thanksgiving Week 2025 were mismarked as 7021D on Plex. Taped November 30, 1988 -- Dian Parkinson's 44th birthday. Barker through normal door, dots on the floor, you know what that means!! Audience member from the previous taping reminds Bob to thank the home audience for keeping TPiR as highly-rated as it is. PG#1: Grand Prize: $33,548 Corvette (MGHSH). Stall time, including wanting to pull the Seacrest. Spiffy second segment: Contestant #5 Brenda in her Air Force uniform, winning contestant Doris in her outfit, and Dian giving Bob and the audience a birthday present of her own in her high-cut swimsuit. (CancelBob) Advisory: Can't start it again. IUFB#3: Quick Fashion With Rod after a discussion on robot monotone voices: Red and blue striped coat. Holly picks off Bob -- and we finally get Dian her flowers for her 44th birthday. SCSD#1: Brenda not only so chintzes the Wheel, she gets booed, she gets a talking-to from Bob! IUFB#4: Karaoke "Singing Machine", to which Rod sings the copy -- in what would turn out to be a new arrangement for when he was occasionally on-camera before calldowns, an insert.. PG#4: Draws: Sixes full of zeros. Doesn't know poker, she keeps due to the audience, Bob jokes a bit. Other Hand: Nines up on fives. IUFB#5: Popcorn machine -- for which the models, all three of them, present to Bob and the contestants a little bonus -- some popcorn! PG#5: Dudley wins up, is offered some of Bob's popcorn after he leaves his in the row, refuses both. Bob sets it aside to grab Dudley's pennies. YouTube Clip of the Day, including a slight error in the prove-out reveal. IUFB#6: The insert, this time lower-left, makes it's debut in it's to-become-normal spot. Pet Adoption Segment to boot. PG#6: Buick Skyhawk Coupe. And another trick setup: All the double-numbers from 11 to 99. This version of El Cheapo stymies her a bit. ($9955) SCSD#2: Dudley snags a grand. Wheel did not need to be reset for his bonus spin. TW Doris, RU Dudley. SC#1: Splendido Living Room Passcase. (w/ clock with chimes) Projection TV Grand Prize. Doris passes. SC#2: Lights. 62 | 2025-11-26 | 5 PM/7 PM | 7123D | Yes | Did Mike Richards time travel for this episode??? IUFB#1: The prop department manipulates that Holly sank every ball on the break. PG#1: Blanche Makes Friends on Mary who Made Friends on someone else -- Blanche does win up. Bob has to stop himself -- the car (Subaru Justy 4WD) is SECOND in Any Number... Down to Sudden Death for Blanche. All Hail the $4.12 case of OINK. (Car was 8963 -- the other was a 0 and Bob thought it might be the car, washer-dryer was 750.) IUFB#2: Energetic Contestant #5 Monroe Leon decides he's too good for CR to start... GOBACKEN SIDONNA!!! PG#2: Mary tries to Make Friends again -- but, as often happens (but didn't two days ago), Monroe wins up! His wife watches the show on a 40" TV in their bedroom -- while he sleeps!! He had bid 15 on the first prize (changed to 25 -- was 21) and then 25 on the second (changed to 18 and is in trouble -- was 35!). Picked for his personality, AND NOTHING ELSE -- YouTube Clip of the Day, and one of the WORST Cliff Hangers playings in history! The evidence of Monroe sleeping through TPiR airings his wife watches is evident for the rest of his involvement on the show! There was a streaming edit of something Bob said. A "Confucious Say" comment by Bob... sigh -- some days, Barker... PG#3: Mary Makes Friends a third time -- and, if she had a fourth after the All-Over, she'd have come up this time. SCSD#1: Monroe almost looks like he's standing at attention, oblivious to the entire process! And Monroe vigorously bows to the Big Wheel after his victory. Oh God. IUFB#4: Energetic Older Contestant #7 Philip is a retired LAPD sergeant. PG#4: Contestant does very well, avoiding an odd trap the show set. 846 for the first prize, 848 for the second! IUFB#5: Contestant #8 Karen vigorously hugs Contestant #7 Philip. PG#5: Mary finally wins up. Geo Metro LSi Coupe at the end. Only two Zero Rule violations -- one was forced by a loud audience member. IUFB#6: Fashion With Rod: Three-toned (brown/black/tan) striped coat, no inset today. PG#6: Not a good day for Making Friends, especially third, Karen! 3/3 second half, 4/6 show, another goodie! TW Allison, RU Monroe. SC#1: Dining Room Passcase. Subverted with a Firebird Trans-Am GTA!!! Allison bids with that fiery red Firebird Trans-Am! SC#2: The Visit To the Dentist Office -- with echo! Ladies and gentlemen, one of the worst knowledge contestants in history. Monroe bid TWO THOUSAND DOLLARS on that. Freeze-frame of Dentist Rob getting HIS tooth pulled during the credits.
| 2025-11-27 | 5 PM/7 PM | 7124D | No | Bob playfully chides a more-politely applauding group up in the corner. PG#1: "Bowed to rising prices" (per Bob), this is the first playing of the $20-21 range for Grocery Game. And it breaks the Grocery Game losing streak! And he makes a "big numbers" tasteless joke at Janice. IUFB#2: Energetic Older Contestant #5 Bessie. PG#2: Teresa Makes Friends second, Richard wins up to try to win a Toyota 2WD truck. ($8363) Nails two of em (multiple dings for a correct pick) and the Army man has a truck! IUFB#3: Contestant #6 Floyd was shocked to be picked! Then he tries to look at Bessie's necklace in CR for comparison! PG#3: Teresa Makes Friends and (barely) wins up. YouTube Clip of the Day. Too slow (age) and nothing... SCSD#1: Theresa also has trouble getting the Wheel around, but she does win. PG#4: Floyd also is stupefied when he finds out he wins up! Nasty setup: 73015 And gets bit at $7315. IUFB#5: Early Fashion With Rod: Rod hairstyling a bit different in his three shades of blue and red shiny jacket gets some playful banter with Bob. PG#5: Contestant #8 Charles hesitated to Come On Down, didn't hesitate to get his chance to play Plunko! Only ONE small prize, so two chips: 0 and DOUBLE ZERO. Bob claims first time for a full zero, and our researchers indicate he's right! (See note.) IUFB#6: Contestant #9 Edward only needed one step over. PG#6: And he makes it three in a row from the left slot. Pontiac Grand Prix Coupe. Guesses $14565, 3 of them correct. We're almost into February of 1989, that's only the second 2/6 of January 1989. SCSD#2: Even rarer than two men in the Showcase round, all three in the Showdown are guys. And they all LOST their pricing games... TW Floyd, RU Theresa. SC#1: A taste of Italy. Capuccino Machine, ObTrip to Italy with $500 (already converted into lira!), and a JACKPOT Grand Prize -- an Alfa Romeo convertible! Floyd bids! SC#2: Splendido Bunk-Bed and Bedroom Second. 64 | 2025-11-28 | 5 PM/7 PM | 7125D | No | Marty Wagner's birthday is noted before we begin the festivities. PG#1: Carol Makes Friends and wins up. Model chat after ME. All three are asked to give birthday wishes to Marty. IUFB#2: Not-As-Energetic Older Contestant #5 Anton. PG#2: The money-winning begins early this segment, Darcy wins CLANGERS. Interestingly, probably to save time, Darcy is not asked to reach into the pocket. And the reason for all those edits before the IUFB#5s is revealed: We're finally off seasonal hiatus and it's the return of the Phone Home Game! Home contestant is from Tomahawk, KY. Two awards: 1000-2000=$3000. Phone contestant wishes Merry Christmas -- kinda giving away the December tape date. That entire segment was done double-parked: They never even did the prove-out, especially interesting because a prize was missed! Before IUFB#3: Spontaneous applause and a rather serene Anton get noted by Bob. PG#3: Marit gets a chance to win a Subaru GL Wagon. Rolls: 6-4 (correct)-4 (also correct!)-1 (CLINCH WIN -- $11,446.) IUFB#4: Rather large Contestant #7 William forces Bob to get a promise not to have his foot stepped on! IUFB on CHUGGS. PG#4: Check Bob's feet -- here comes William! (They're safe.) William notes something straight out of the Golden Road idea: Bob takes precisely fourteen steps to get the microphone from Janice, according to our contestant. Holly is asked about that bit of trivia before we head to halftime. PG#5: Cher Makes Friends with the wrong person, but is saved with an all-over. And we get a second one here. And then appears to suicide on the third try! But wins with CLANGERS after Anton Makes Friends second! Cher is frightened on her try to win the car. Only one SP, so three cards, this is a $1500 bailout. Three A's. IUFB#6: Fashion with Rod: Blue and Yellow jacket today. Tennis Machine, no demo, but Holly tosses one of the balls to Bob -- who throws it to a lucky audience member! SCSD#2: Cher and two biggies, Anton and William. Anton chintzes. William doesn't want to break a nail! TW Merit, RU Anton. SC#1: Tripcase. Camera and luggage to go Around The World. Portugal-India-Japan. Marit passes. Audience does not like Anton's low bid. SC#2: Ready To Roll. FRTS. Marit wins, as expected -- but only by $85 as they really lowballed the ATW Showcase!
