Smoke Seller, dog, woman, purses, stage--LOTS of adjectives and can use before and after with question ¿Cómo es...? vs ¿Cómo está? and pause to share emotions; physical/personalty descriptions are: young/old, small/big, bad/good, pretty,good-looking/ugly, tall/short, +many more including hair colordance, sell, rob, trick/deceive, to like, Coming soon! Basically while watching, I had my kids circle verbs on a wordle sheet I created that "Bob" (we created a name for the main character before talking about him) does on a normal day *I explained he sells things first though (intro to verb vender with some of my "Acting" skills)---used some PQAs like does your mom/dad sell things on a normal day? Then discussed meaning of title and "humo" smoke. During video too--lots of pauses and ¿Cómo está so and so? vs ¿Cómo es so and so? At the end, kids love what happens! discuss in Spanish why and then share aloud what "Bob" did on a normal day/Teacher write ideas on board--Teacher just writes infinitive, whole class conjugates together then together share ideas at end answering ¿Cómo es "Bob?"--opposite from what he was at the beginning; reinforces idea that yes, these "permanent" things can change---they are descriptions of people & not emotions. Again, the ending is great! I leave the verbs up on board and then relate back to a few students' parents from beginning PQAs--does your mom dance on a normal day? run? steal? makes it more fun and gets some more laughs :)Great for NoviceLow/Mid
