Voters Must Vote at Assigned Polling Place
We’ve noticed that volunteers have repeatedly told voters in NJ that, if they cannot get to their assigned polling location, they can go to any location and request and cast a provisional ballot, which will be counted only as to “state races.” That is technically correct, but there are NO STATEWIDE RACES in NJ this election. People have to go to their assigned locations to vote. Please advise voters that they need to vote at their assigned (or otherwise allowable) voting districts for their ballots to be counted. Check FAQ # 7 for rules on allowable districts for voters who have moved recently.

Mercer County Scanners Down
Voters in Mercer County are still able to vote by paper ballot, and those ballots will be counted. Please do your best to convince voter not to leave without voting! Polls close at 8PM tonight and we have volunteer Election Protection volunteers on the ground to help voters at many polling places.

Mercer County - Scanners Down
In Mercer County, the scanners are down at all polling locations. Voters are to vote on REGULAR PAPER BALLOTS or EMERGENCY BALLOTS, not by provisional ballot. Regular ballots are to be dropped in slots at the back of the machine. The county will scan or hand-count all such ballots.

If Mercer County poll workers resist, please escalate the tickets.
