Wake Forest University / Crosby Scholars Scholarship$2,000; Renewable for up to $8,000Wake Forest University will award three $2,000 scholarships annually to graduating Crosby Scholar seniors who have been admitted to WFU. The Wake Forest University/Crosby Scholars Scholarships will be offered to certified Crosby Scholars from historically underrepresented populations or families whose parents did not attend college, who rank within the top 20% of their graduating classes, demonstrate financial need, and successfully complete all requirements of the Crosby Scholars Program. Joyce Kohfeldt Determination Award$1,000The Program will award a non-renewable $1,000 scholarship to one graduating Crosby Scholar senior who will enroll in a two- or four-year college or university, who actively participates in community service and extracurricular activities, and who clearly expresses in an essay how any events or special circumstances have impacted his or her educational experience as well as any adversities he or she has overcome. Friends of Bernardine Rea$500The Program will award up to five non-renewable $500 scholarships to graduating Crosby Scholar seniors who faithfully participate in service to others and who plan to enroll in a two- or fouryear college or university. Bernardine’s friends wish for this scholarship to assist deserving students in continuing their education with fervor and drive according to their unique abilities, while never forgetting that life is not just about what you accomplish, but how well you treat your neighbors and friends. Mona W. Mona W. Lovett Excellence in Volunteer Leadership Award$1,000The Program will award a non-renewable $1,000 scholarship to one graduating Crosby Scholar senior who created, spearheaded, or recruited others to participate in a service activity and who describes the journey as a volunteer leader in a clearly-written essay. 2/17/19Crosby Scholars Student Portal

Mona W. Lovett Outstanding Commitment to Service Award$1,000The Program will award a non-renewable $1,000 scholarship to one graduating Crosby Scholar senior who completed a minimum of 100 hours of volunteer service during high school and who demonstrates in a clearly-written essay the sacrifices necessary to perform so many hours of service alongside the many demands of academics, extracurricular activities, part-time employment, and/or other commitments. Goodwill Willpower Scholarship$1,500The Program will award a non-renewable $1,500 scholarship annually to one graduating Crosby Scholar senior who has weathered adversity resulting from a personal choice and has emerged with a remarkable story of willpower and determination. Advancing Capitalism Scholarship$1,250 Renewable for up to $5,000 The Program will award up to three renewable $1,250 scholarships to graduating Crosby Scholar seniors who will enroll in a four-year college or university with either Business or Economics as their intended major, has a cumulative weighted GPA of 3.0 or higher, and who submit an essay utilizing one of three available essay prompts. The scholarship is renewable through four continuous years of undergraduate study for a maximum cumulative award of $5,000 as long as the recipient maintains a 3.0 GPA, a major in business or economics, and provides an annual update on their progress through school. 3/3/19Crosby Scholars Student Portal

AAMPED Scholarship$1,000 The Program will award one non-renewable $1,000 scholarship to one graduating Crosby Scholar senior who has participated in an AAMPED activity, who will enroll in a two- or four-year college or university; has a cumulative weighted GPA of 3.0 or higher; who has successfully completed all requirements of the Crosby Scholars Program from grade 9 through graduation; and who has performed a minimum of ten community service hours during their senior year. Harry Scofield Memorial Book Scholarship$300The Program will award a non-renewable $300 book scholarship to four graduating Crosby Scholar seniors who will enroll in a two- or four-year college or university, who attended the Senior Academy on Scholarships, and who demonstrate academic achievement by holding a cumulative unweighted GPA of 3.0 or higher. Preference will be given to scholars whose parent/guardian is employed by an educational institution; however,

Bigs for Success Scholarship$1,000 The Program will award up to three non-renewable $1,000 scholarships to graduating Crosby Scholar seniors who will enroll in a two- or four-year college or university, have a cumulative weighted GPA of 2.5 or higher, who successfully completed their match for the year, and who joined the Bigs for Success Program during their junior year. James L. Einstein College Scholarship$3,000; Renwable The James L. Einstein College Scholarship provides one $3,000 renewable scholarship to a graduating Crosby Scholar senior who will attend a two- or four-year college or university with a cumulative unweighted GPA of 2.5 or higher; who demonstrates participation in community service; and who demonstrates financial need. Mary Katherine Dixson ScholarshipVariesThe Program will draw from the Mary Katherine Dixson Trust to award academic scholarships of varying amounts per academic year to graduating Crosby Scholar seniors who require special services in order to succeed in their post-secondary education endeavors. Students must enroll in a two- or four-year college or university or in another post-secondary program of study. Dean Smith Integrity Award$1,000The Program will award a non-renewable $1,000 scholarship to one graduating Crosby Scholar senior who will enroll at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and who exemplifies the virtues of integrity, loyalty, and open-mindedness. This award is to honor the memory of Coach Dean Smith and his commitment to both the Crosby National Celebrity Golf Tournament and the Crosby Scholars Invitational Golf Tournament.
