A novice user might need a different starting point for search where the Clearinghouse offers training for the Clearinghouse's features before or as the search is being performed. For example, the Clearinghouse might allow a "decision tree" type workflow or provide instructions in the forms of bullets/screenshots.

An experienced user might like to access the Clearinghouse inventory quickly using an "expressed" mode, such as using the controlled vocabularies/categories.
