Protocol inherent risk: There is inherent smart contract and platform risk involved with managed vaults, this is evident through past exploitations of specific yearn vaults.

Managed Vaults: Each vault contains their own individual strategies. The protocol will rotate funds between these strategies to determine what has the most optimal yield for that particular asset. The strategies vary in risk and they also incur the risk of each platform. Each platform contain their own smart contract or platform risks

Farming Strategy

General Strategy: Olympus' intention is to take idle reserve assets such as DAI & wBTC and deposit them into managed yearn vaults to earn yield.

Protocol Pool(s): yDAI and ywBTC

Pool Components: yDAI and ywBTC, however, depending on the underlying strategy the assets will potentially be exposed to centralized assets.

Pool APR: Varies based on the underlying strategies per vault.

Historical APR: 1-4% for yDAI and 0.3-2% for wBTC.

TVL, Daily Volume and Liquidity Utilization: yDAI TVL at 322M. ywBTC TVL at 59M.

Pool Asset Total and Breakdown: yDAI & ywBTC, underlying strategy may pool deposited assets with other assets such as 3CRV.

It is imperative that Olympus continue to bolster it's treasury to further the backing of OHM. Yearn is one of the gold standards of managed strategies. Outsourcing the management of assets helps the DAO to focus it's efforts toward other initiatives to help bring demand and value to the protocol.
