General Difficulty Changes

Borderlands 2.5 has several key balance changes to make gameplay more engaging. As seen below, stats for Players and Enemies have been adjusted, along with more dynamic enemy gear and tactics.

On top of this, Moxxi Healing has been removed from the game to put more emphasis on defensive builds and gear. On the offensive side, Slag has been wildly revamped into more of a support element instead of a "slag and forget" type of application. HP / Shields

HP and shields for both Players and Enemies scale upwards with lvl even into OP10! Enemies get a better deal out fo this as they become even harder than before

Enemies have much better Resistance curves based on lvl difference compared to vanilla despite the higher HP, making for a smoother leveling experience. You also gain bonus XP for defeating higher lvl enemies now!

Enemy Gear

Enemies have way better loot this time around, and they use it! They can spawn with green-purple quality gear, including E-tech weapons and specialty shields.

Animals get a boost too, with better melee damage and HP than before.

Enemy Tactics and Stats

The Pyshcos have adapated to the 2.5 environment with faster and more diverse reactions to your tactics!

Some are dodgy and fast, others like to turtle up more, and some take advantage of unique gear like Amp Shields or Grenade Launchers.
