Instructions for "Outline" Sheet

Enter start date of classes in the highlighted box

Enter correct formula in A3 to properly count up from start

For Monday, Wednesday, Friday class:

Drag the formula from A3 down column A until last day of classes

Column B, Day of Week, automatically fills in.

Manually mark any holidays using an X in Column C

Class Numbered Day, Column D, automatically fills in, skipping holidays

Fill in your class's daily information in Columns E, F, G

Column E is for one line of BOLD, RED text in the calendar, e.g. for special notes like important due dates.

Column F is for one line of BOLD text in the calendar, e.g. for the topic of the day.

Column G is for two lines of regular text in the calendar, e.g. reading assignments, homework assignments.

Use CMD+OPTION+ENTER to insert a line break in Column G.

Enter the year in the FIRST CALENDAR in Cell B1

Enter the month for the FIRST CALENDAR in Cell C1 (Select from dropdown list)

All subsequent calendars will fill in automatically.

All calendars are 5 weeks + 2 days. Dates that do not correspond to that month will be grayed out.

The 3 cells under each calendar square's date will automatically fill in with information from the Outline sheet.

There are 6 months included in this spreadsheet. I'm happy to add more if needed!

Modify the header and footer with e.g. instructor name, course number, semester

When Printing:

Make sure to "Scale To Fit" to 1 page wide, using Landscape

Make sure to only print the pages you need (e.g. if your class is only 5 months long)
