URL Builder for UTM Parameters
3

4
5
Step 1: File > Make A Copy
6
7
Step 2: On the URL Builder tab, fill in the fields not highlighted in gray.
8
The only field that's really required is the URL. But you're here for the others, so use them as needed.

I've written a quick rundown of UTM Parameters here:

Custom Tags
14
I've included two columns to help you add Customer Tags in Key:Value pairs.
15
Name your tag in one column, add the value to the next.
16
I recommend leaving these blank unless you've added a Custom Dimension.

BITLY Integration
19
If you want to use this spreadsheet to shorten your URLs into Bitlys and keep track of them, you can do that! Follow the instructions below:
20
21
1Sign up for a Bitly Account if you don't have one. Sign in if you do.
22
https://bit.ly
23
24
2From your dashboard, select the Hamburger menu in the upper right.
25
Select Your Username/Email > Generic Access Token
26
Input your password and click "Generate Token"
27
Copy the token for the modal
28
29
3Paste your token into Admin!B2
30
(here)
31
32
4In Column K ("Shorten?"), select "Yes" to tell Bitly to shorten your link.
33
I recommend this step only AFTER you've built your URL completely. Any changes made to the URL will change the bitly, also.
34
Bitly columns will remain blank if the Token field is empty OR "Yes" is not selected.
