|Atlanta Survival Program Food4Life||Free grocery delivery for those impacted by COVID-19||Atlanta, GA Area||https://firstname.lastname@example.org|
Based on projections, we expect that the new coronavirus will have a severe impact on people in Atlanta. Before long, everyone will know someone personally who's impacted by the pandemic, and institutions will not be able to keep up with the need for aid. Official support will not be available to everyone, particularly those already marginalized and unprivileged.
Time is short, we need to act now to organize ourselves to care for our communities. While the most immediate needs are for medical care, most of us are not medical experts. But everyone can support each other by caring for other vital needs.
No matter how you're affected by the pandemic, the Food4Life program exists to help everyone survive.
WE SUPPORT ANYONE WHO: **Is already self-isolating because their age and/or medical conditions put them in serious danger if they contract the virus; **Can't afford expensive grocery delivery services must either risk exposure or go hungry.** Is sick and cannot leave home for fear of infecting others. **Can't afford groceries because of lost work or structural poverty **Lives in a food desert. Lack of access to healthy food weakens the immune system, putting everyone in greater danger.
THE PROGRAM IS STRAIGHTFORWARD IN PRACTICE: Bulk food is donated by charities, grocery stores, community groups, and farmers. / Volunteers are provided with protective equipment and training for preventing the spread of contagions. / Organizers dispatch volunteers to make deliveries on a schedule, and handle logistics. / Grocery drop-offs are made directly outside the homes of people in need, avoiding direct contact.

A hub to connect individuals in communities across the state with the support and resources they need as Maine grapples with the COVID-19 pandemic.
Mainers Together on Facebook
We are Mainers from across the state who have experience in organizing, journalism, and building a movement for change. In this time of crisis, the Maine People's Alliance has decided to dedicate organizing resources to supporting community-based efforts to respond to the community distress caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and protect our most vulnerable friends and neighbors.
We've started a $25,000 fund for community assistance that we hope you can help us grow and we're all dedicating ourselves to helping Maine people pull together to help one another. If you reach out through one of the action items on this site, an MPA organizer or a Beacon reporter will get back to you as soon as possible to share information and make sure help gets where it's needed.

Westview High School Community Mutual Aid Network
The WHS Community Mutual Aid Network grew out of the impromptu food drive setup by teachers, staff, and community volunteers in the wake of the COVID-19 school shutdown. We were ale to deliver groceries to around 36 families, and 101 kids. Because of the massive support that everyone showed, organizers have been able to regroup and create a more efficient system for supporting our families in need.
The mutual aid network seeks to provide resources and logistics to willing volunteers to support Westview families with groceries, toiletries, deliveries, and any other emergency support possible. While we cannot guarantee that our entire community will get everything they need, we can do our best to ease the burdens of this prolonged shutdown. We will continue support as long as we have resources and willing volunteers.

|Asian Unification Project|
As Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic spreads throughout the world, most countries are strongly encouraging folks to begin social distancing and don't make any unnecessary trips.
COVID-19 is especially dangerous for older folks (50+) and immunocompromised individuals. Elderly Asian individuals are arguably the most affected by this. Not only do they face discrimination, they also have barriers of accessibility, mobility, and language.
The goal of this project is to provide support for these people by delivering groceries or running errands, minimizing the contact they have with the outside.
(note I'm not part of this project, heard about it from Facebook friend who is one of the organizers so I copied the description from their website)
