Good afternoon Dixon and Anne, and happy Wednesday.

On behalf of STAR staff, I wanted to express my gratitude for the fantastic presentation last week. The team appreciated listening to Dixon’s story and learning more about AA’s history, structure, and philosophy. The resources/handouts were also well received, and each site is looking forward to building a working relationship with respective points of contact.

Thank you once again for taking the time to share your time and knowledge with us. We enjoyed having both of you in our meeting and would certainly like to repeat this presentation for the team in a few months. I’ll reach out when I have clearer guidance to have someone from AA speak to patients.

I mentioned the presentation to the SUD Program Director at Durham VAMC (the position is comparable to mine, she oversees all specialty SUD services for Durham VA) and she was interested in learning more as it could benefit those Veterans and providers. Who can I connect her with/How can I help?
