(AHAM) Asociación Hispano-Americana de Mujeres Scholarship Program
$2,000 - $10,000March 31, 2025On Saturday, October 18th 1997 -- an enthusiastic group of visionary women from Greenville and Spartanburg met with the purpose of organizing events that could benefit our community.

To this date, the women of AHAM have raised and awarded a total of $496,000. They've organized Hispanic Heritage Festivals where they've shared the richness of their countries of origin with our Upstate community. They've held silent auctions, galas, and volunteered countless hours -- all with the goal of making higher education more accessible to our Latino youth. Thanks to the women of AHAM, and all of its supporters, we have made college more accessible to 174 exceptional Hispanic students in the state of South Carolina.

Coastal Community Foundation$500-$2,000Mid March 2025Coastal Community Foundation awards hundreds of thousands of dollars in scholarships to regional students each year, made possible by donors committed to improving access to education in our communities. Duke UniversityFull tuitionDeadline for 2025 TBDBeginning in the fall 2023 semester, Duke University will provide full tuition grants for undergraduate students admitted to Duke from North Carolina and South Carolina whose family incomes are $150,000 or less.

For Duke students who are residents of the Carolinas with family incomes of $65,000 or less, Duke will provide full tuition grants, plus financial assistance for housing, meals and some course materials or other campus expenses, without the need for student loans.

Golden Door Scholarship4-year tuition; room & boardOctober 2025Golden Door Scholars provides scholarships for DACA & undocumented students. Students may be high school seniors or recent graduates. GOYA Foods Culinary Arts Scholarship Program$5,000 or $20,000March 3, 2025Goya Foods has established a scholarship program to assist incoming college freshmen majoring in Culinary Arts or Food Sciences. Renewable scholarships are offered each year for full-time study at an accredited two- or four-year college or university of the student’s choice.

This program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarships and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Eligibility for individual programs is determined at the sole discretion of the sponsor, and eligible applications are reviewed by Scholarship America’s evaluation team.

McDonald's HACER Scholarship$5,000-$100,000February 6, 2025The McDonald's HACER® National Scholarship Program offers scholarships to up to 30 outstanding Hispanic students from all over the country. Funds are aimed to help recipients finance their college tuition, and there are three tiers. Tier 1 recipients are awarded up to $100,000. Tier 2 recipients receive $20,000 or $10,000 and Tier 3 recipients receive $5,000. Recipients are selected based on their academic achievement, community involvement, personal statement and financial need.
