This has serious implications in how we conduct and evaluate research with populations from diverse cultural backgrounds within and outside the United States. In particular, human development is deeply embedded in local cultural contexts, and these contexts must be taken into account in our research. This course is restricted to COE PhD/EdD students; as well as Psych PhD students in CAS; all others should receive permission from the instructor.
