Assigning tasks
15
The team leaders and each team member should communicate and establish reasonable and achievable goals for each week. The tasks should be clearly described with measurable deliverables. Once the tasks go up on the sheet, it is assumed that every team member is comfortable with the task for that week. It is critical to ensure and communicate to every team member that this is so, and that it is their responsibility to voice any concerns and suggestions on the day of the task assignment - which is usually class time, the week before. The dates/weeks on the sheet columns are the due dates for the assignment(s). Please read the syllabus and ask the instructors/TA for more information.

Color coding
18
It is the role of the producer (unless otherwise agreed upon), to color code the sheet each week for every team member. A green color background indicates full completion of the assigned task, a yellow indicates partial completion of the task and a red indicates an incomplete task for the week. Blue color background may be given if a task and personal stretch tasks have also been completed. If this is the case, document the extra work done. Colors once assigned should not be changed and it is ok to put down multiple oranges and reds to accurately indicate the status of the project. This would help the instructors and the TA to assist the teams in redistributing, reassigning or reevaluating the tasks in a timely manner.
