Unit 1: Concentration Ideas

Students will work on ideas for their concentration. Through sketchbook assignments that raise questions of why we create art, students will develop a central theme or ideas for their portfolio.

Within this portfolio students will choose 5 pieces that will be submitted under the quality section of the portfolio. These pieces should represent the best craftsmanship the student has to offer.

Unit 4: Portfolio Submission

Students will be creating a body of work consisting of 15-20 pieces with a central theme or concentration. Within this portfolio students will choose 5 pieces that will be submitted under the quality section of the portfolio. These pieces should represent the best craftsmanship the student has to offer. These pieces will be assembled into a portfolio that will be submitted both digitally and physically to the AP Board for jurying/grading.
