MATS "aims to find promising [AI] alignment theorists and connect them with mentorship, funding opportunities (grants), and a cohort of similarly promising peers." Candidates would work part-time from when they begin to 6/6. Then they’d be full-time for the duration of 6/6 - 9/16 (potentially continuing beyond this). Candidates must be willing to relocate to Berkeley over the summer (specifically from 7/25 - 9/16). Expenses will be covered by MATS.
