BSCC Sunday Ride: Instructions

Who:All men and women - just choose the distance and pace that you are comfortable with.

Distance (approx:)Long: 70 miles / 110 km
Medium: 60 miles / 95 km
Short: 45 miles / 70 km

Pace:High Pace: 17.5 – 18.5 mph / 28 - 30 km/h
Medium Pace: 15.5 - 17.0 mph / 25 - 27 km/h
Steady Pace: 13.5 - 15.0 mph / 22 - 24 km/h

Peletons:We ride in pelotons of up to 8 riders.
If you want to lead a ride put your name down as a ride leader - anyone can do this and instructions are given at the start. Otherwise just put your name down in any peloton you choose. Please just add your name to a new peloton group if the previous one is full.
Final pelotons and ride leads will be arranged at the start as necessary. Depending on numbers the max size for one peloton is 11, otherwise we split into two groups of 6, etc.
