In scouting (part of my culture), we value types of learning and need science that applies to outdoor survival and cooking outdoors. Recognizing that all students have cultural knowledge and all cultures have funds of knowledge is important as we create schools that are safe, welcoming, and nurturing for ALL of our students. | ||||||
