This is the group I work with, so for change in this area, the information was not at all useful.

Virginia MerrittChannel OneKeeps me/us up to date on what's going on in the community that effects our clients. Convenes people with common goals to get the voice of low-income and under-represented people in the community out into the public sphere - i.e. the work that was done around transportation.Yes7:30-9:00 AM, 8:00-9:30 AM, 1:30 - 3:00 PM, 3:00 -4:30 PM7:30-9:00 AM, 8:00-9:30 AM, 10-11:30 AM, 1:30 - 3:00 PM, 3:00 -4:30 PM7:30-9:00 AM, 1:30 - 3:00 PM, 3:00 -4:30 PM7:30-9:00 AM, 8:00-9:30 AM, 10-11:30 AM, 1:30 - 3:00 PM, 3:00 -4:30 PM7:30-9:00 AM, 8:00-9:30 AM, 10-11:30 AM, 1:30 - 3:00 PMYesI used it in state-wide grant presentations when I was still at LAOC.

Officer Ray Caban is the Human Rights Commissioner, perhaps having more connectors to participate in coalitions going on. Not surebringing awareness of the immediate need and focus on next right thing to do in this town. What is missing, but not feasible right now, it is outreaching to minority/ underserved groups. So CNG needs to continue inviting coalition groups, faith organizations, to learn about the great work and coordination of advocacy for the immediate needs.

Courtney LawsonNAMI SE MN- Staying updated on current initiatives that lie outside my day-to-day interactions but are critical to know or the big picture (e.g. DMC developments, planning, etc)
- networking w/ other people I don't see on a regular basis
YesLegal services:
- what organization to refer particular types of cases (eg. LAOC, SMRLS, etc)
- what about people who fall outside those types of cases (but qualifying income-wise) or still financially stressed but don't qualify
- employment law -- instance of alleged discrimination/other employer violations, especially vs large employers (and people have $) when even large firms won't take cases
YesGrant applications/information

This could be more useful to my work if it had better metrics for mental health & illness. Rates of psychiatric hospitalizations aren't very useful because there are many who need hospitalization but there are no beds, so they are sent away. I'd like to explore a meaningful metric that is more early-intervention focused and reflects true need.
