Follow Up Flush SampleLead in water sample taken due to elevated lead results during the first round of sampling. Flush sample indicates that the water was run for 30-120 seconds prior to collecting a sample from the fixture. Typically done to determine if the source of the lead is from the fixture or from piping within the plumbing.

The analytical method used for lead in water samples has a limit of detection of 0.5ppb, so any samples that have lead concentrations below 0.5ppb, the analytical method cannot measure concentrations below this. This result is synonymous with a "none detected" result.
