Advocate for creation of regulations for smoke shops.Richard Furlow joined October meeting and shared legislation plans. Continue to express support of legislation as BOA reviewing it.

Complete projects funded through NEOC grant.In progress.

Determine and carry out a project that will allow us to support our community with input from the broader WEB team.Hosted lead paint education session and connected health department to other organizations for additional sessions. Will do Arts and Ideas funded project in May or June.

Build relationship with new district manager.Continuing to communicate at WEB meetings and in between.

Encourage residents to bring concerns around ongoing issues to district manager.Share regular reminders at meetings.

Advocate for additional police presence and resources in our district.Gary Hogan hosted meeting in September focused on Ward 28, and we partnered with Gary on follow up in December.

Continue to advocate for traffic calming throughout our district.Invited Sandeep Aysola to a winter meeting. Working on Goffe traffic calming project as part of NEOC grant. New stop signs installed at Bellevue and Glen. Advocating for additional improvements on Dyer and Crescent.

Strengthen communications with WASSD.Met with Allen McCollum in November. Working with WASSD on NEOC project.

Engage local businesses by inviting them to participate as “merchants of the month.”Allen is sharing with WASSD membership.

Encourage in person participation at CMT meetings while continuing to meet in hybrid format.Good attendance in person with many speakers coming in person. Exploring returning to substation when we have a screen there.

Increase alder participation in meetings.Good participation at fall meetings.

Ask alders for help with specific issues.Worked with Tom Ficklin on Sam's Mart issue before he passed. Evette Hamilton helping with substation technology. Met with Gary Hogan to discuss where he can support.

Invite key city departments to present at meetings.Esther Rose-Wilen (City Plan) presented October. Working on invites for winter/spring.
