The seams are smooth and the large double cap is well applied. ExcellentThe predraw has a nice resistance and a sweet baking spice flavor. GoodI was getting a sweet coco aroma from the wrapper, with hints of mineral notes from the foot. GoodMildLight-MediumA bit of a charred oaky to get this review started on the first couple of puffs. As I made my way through the third I began to pick up some white pepper on the retro hale. The cigar had very little smoke out put during the first third but the draw was great. Towards the end of the first third the cigar began to swell and cracked closer to the band. We will see if this becomes a problem down the road. GoodMild-MediumLight-MediumThe smoke output has up ticked and with it came some sweet coco and fresh roasted coffee flavors. The toasted oak notes continued to be in the background rounding out the profile. The wrapper has continued to crack and swell in the final third. It has not effected the review yet. SubparMild-MediumLight-MediumThe final third seemed to have mirrored the profile from the second. But it did not reach its full potential as it started to fall apart from the swelling and cracking. Once I removed the band all hope was lost. Very GoodAt the beginning the draw felt a bit snug. It did open up nicely by the end of the first third, and was great till the end. Very GoodThe burn started out as a true razor burn from the first puff. It did start to get a bit wavy as the review went on. I never felt it was out of hand or needed a touch up. GoodEven with the wrapper swelling and cracking near the band since the beginning, the construction held very well. It was not until I got into the final third where the cracking was did I encounter and problems smoking. GoodWould I reach for this again? Short answer is maybe. The profile never seemed to pick up much and was relatively muted through out the review.
