The reason I think she is lonely is beause 1.) She bored of living on the ranch. 2.) She's dissatisified with her boring old husband 3.) She is desperately lonely & has broken dreams of a better life.4.) She flirts with Lennie

12/15/2013 21:12:35eesquivel@mchrschool.orgCurley SmallHe says its mean. He's old and stinks. George says that Lennie is a nice fella but, not very bright. Slime is a jerkline skinner with an ageless hatched face. He usually heard more than he was told, and his slow speech had overtones not of thought, but of understanding beyond thought. I think that Lennie is lonely. I think what makes him lonely is the fact that he is always following George. I think this makes him lonely because George knows that he isn't very bright so he dosen't let him speak so often.

Slim was the jerkline slimmer, prince of the ranch, capable of driving ten, sixteen, or even twenty mules with a single line to the leaders. I think Crook is lonely because he has his own room and he feels like hes the only black man.

12/17/2013 11:54:09aagudo@mchrschool.orgCurleySmallThe people were mean The dog is no longer good for anything They were childhood friends and he promised Lennie's Aunt Clara that he would look after him and keep him out of trouble.Slim is the "prince of the ranch." He's the consummate Western man: masterful, strong, fair-minded, practical, non-talkative, and exceptionally good at what he does.Lennie because he is confused because half of the time he doesn't know what anybody is talking about almost half of the time.

He asks when they can leave to make their farmland dreams come true.It stinksGeorge says that Lennie is not bright, but he could work very well on a job. He also says that he is his cousin and that he told his mother that he`ll take care of him.Slim is a tall man. He has long damp hair. He was a jerkline Skinner. He was ageless and looked young, his hands large and lean.I think Curley is lonely because he is a young, white man that got married with this foolish wife, who is very flirtatious with other men and doesn`t care for him. He doesn`t have friends, according to the book and for that he is a lonely man.

I told his old lady I would take care of him." -GeorgeSlim is a jerk-line skinner that works on the farm with George and Lennie. He is like they're manager. From when he first meets the pair, you can tell he is a nice person. He is very welcoming and friendly.I think Curley's wife can be considered lonely. She is the only woman on the farm, and she could use some "girl talk."

I think the only reason she acts out like she does is to get attention, and it definitely working

12/17/2013 12:07:57nsolomon@mchrschool.orgcurleysmallHe was frightened by how frantic george was, and georges' reaction was due to lennies' attraction to curleys wife. he doesnt want another replay of lennies being accused of raping a woman because he liked how her dress felt the dog is usless, old, and fills the cabin with an odor. He is no longer useful to them.He said they were "Cousins" and promised the old lady, being lennies' aunt, that he would take care of him.slim is the "prince of the ranch"
he had power, authority, he was good at what he did.
I feel crooks is loneliest. He is without his family, he likes to keep to himself, which prevents him from making any friends or acquaintances, and he isn't the kindest, which is never good in the social arena. crooks is African American, and he has been beaten down by loneliness and prejudice so much so, that he is suspicious of any kindness he receives.

I told his old lady I'd take care of him. He got kicked in the head by a horse when he was a kid. He's awright. Just ain't bright. But he can do anything you tell him."Slim is the jerkline skinner. He was the prince of the ranch. He had authority, and there was a gravity in his manner.I think that Crooks is lonely. He has no family and no friends to be with. He is a African American male, age is unknown.

12/17/2013 12:09:15asolomon@mchrschool.orgcurly smallhe diosnt want any troublebecause the dog is old it stink and shooting the dog will do it a favor to the boss: we are distance cousins

to slim: i use to joke with him and make him do thing and when we were young i had made him jump in the lake and he nearly drowned till i got him out then he said thank you for saving my life forgetting im the one who told him to jump so when his aunt was dieing i promise to take care of him
he was a jerkline skinner, the prince of the ranch, capable of driving ten sixteen, even twenty mules with a single line to the leaders. he was capable of killing a fly on the wheeler's butt with a bull whip without touching the mule Candy because his dog is know dead and his to old to keep up with the others
15
12/17/2013 15:12:45gjimenez@mchrschool.orgCurleySmallLennie says that he wants to leave the ranch because Lennie says that they are to aggressive.Carlson said "well, looka here, Slim. I been thinkin'. That dog of candy's is so Gad damn old he cant hardly walk. Stinks like hell, too."George said, " He's my... cousin. I told his old lady I'd take care of him. He kicked in the head by a horse when he was a kid. He's awright. Just ain't bright. But he can do anything you tell him." Slim is the jerkline skinner. His hatchet face was ageless. He might have been thirty five or fifty. His ear heard more than was said to him, and his slow speech had overtones not of thought, but of understanding beyond thought. His hands, large and lean, were as delicate in their action as those of a temple dancer.I think Lennie feels lonley. I say this because when Lennie found the dead mouse he felt with company, he felt relaxed with him, but George threw it away.
16
12/17/2013 15:15:46thall@mchrschool.orgCurleySmallLennie says he wants to leave the ranch because he says it's mean there. He's not lying, either. Curley is just so agitated and attempting to attack Lennie for no reason. He thinks Candy should shoot his dog, because he thinks the dog is too old, and "can hardly walk. Stinks like hell, too. Ever' time he comes into the bunkhouse I can smell him for two, three days...Got no teeth, damn near blind, can't eat. Candy feeds him milk. He can't chew nothing else." First, he says George is his cousin. He says, "I told his old lady I'd take care of him. he got kicked in the head by a horse when he was a kid. He's awright. Just ain't bright. But he can do anything you tell him."Slim is a jerkline skinner, "the prince of the ranch, capable of killing a fly on the wheeler's butt with a bull whip without touching the mule." Slim had a gravity to his manner and a quiet so profound that all talk stopped when he spoke. His authority was so great that his word was taken on subject, be it politics or love. Slim moved with a majesty only achieved by royalty and master craftsman. I think Lennie is a character to me who can be described as lonely. You can tell from the way he acts. George is all he has. If George leaves, Lennie is helpless. Also, Lennie found comfort in a dead mouse he found. He didn't want to part with it, but George took it away from him multiple times. Lennie enjoyed the company of the mouse...

12/17/2013 15:17:46jmai@mchrschool.orgCurleySmallhe thinks it's not a good placeCarlson thinks the dogs is so old that it can barely walk and it stinks tooGeorge says that Lennie is his cousin. He told the boss that Lennie was kicked in the head by a horse when he was a kid.Slim was the jerk line Skinner, the prince of the ranch, capable of driving ten, sixteen even twenty mules with a single line to the leaders. In chapter 2 no one is lonely

12/17/2013 15:18:53tlong-rivera@mchrschool.orgCurly Small Lennie wanted to leave the ranch because he didn't want what happened to him to him before to happen again. heHe says he can smell that dog from a mile away. It doesn't have teeth, near blind, and he can't eat.He said that Lennie is his cousin and that his old lady told him to take care of him beacause he got kicked in the head by a horse when he was younger."He was jerkline skinner, the prince of the ranch, capable of diving ten, sixteen, even twenty mules with a single line to the leaders. This was Slim.I think Lennie is lonely because no one really understands him, his condition, or how he thinks.
19
12/17/2013 15:20:24malmonte@mchrschool.orgCurley SmallHe says he wants to leave the ranch because, as Lennie said "I don' like this place, George. This ain't no good place. I wanna get out of here." The reason he said this was because he was scared that Curley was going to do something bad to him. He thinks Candy should shoot the dog because the dog is old and can barely walk. "Stinks like hell too.", as he said in his own words. The dog has no teeth, is nearly blind, and can't eat.George said that he was Lennie's cousin and that he told Lennie's mother he would take care of him. Slim is described as a tall man with black, damp hair strait back. Like the others, he wore blue jeans and a short denim jacket. The author described his movements as graceful, "he moved with such majesty only achieved by royalty and master craftsmen".In this novel, I believe that Curley was lonely, from what I've read so far. His wife does not seem to truly love him, always flirting with another man. He always strives to show his strength to others and has to need to prove himself. He feels the need to get attention, as most lonely people do.

12/17/2013 15:20:30ndao@mchrschool.orgCurleySmallbecause "its mean here"The dog is told and can barley walk or eat and it smellsGeorge promised Lennie's Aunt Clara he would take care of him and keep him out of trouble and the were also childhood friends. Lennie is also really good at hard, laborious work on the farm. Slim is another worker on the farm, although he is described as the "Prince of the ranch, capable of driving ten, sixteen, even twenty mules with a single line to the leaders." The men have a lot of respect for him considering he is a good man and very courteous. He is also described as a good looking man, with everyone's eyes on him he really stands out, in a admirable way.Curley wife is lonely because she is the only girl.

12/17/2013 15:22:01kzapata@mchrschool.orgCurleySmall Smallits mean here The dog stinksHe says that Lennie is his cousin and when Lennie's Aunt died George told her he would take care of Lennie. He said Lennie was kicked in the head by a horse and it made him slowHe is the head Skinner on the ranch. He is the leader of all the working men. He's a tall man in his 30's to 50's loneliness tremendously affects the behaviors and thoughts of the characters. the loneliness and isolation Crooks faces lead to his desperate attempts at making friends with Lennie. Crooks' actions show that a person needs somebody to be near him, no matter who this person is, to fill his loneliness.

12/17/2013 15:24:07ereyes@mchrschool.orgCurley SmallLennie says he wants to leave because he was scared that Curley would do something to him.He thinks Candy should shoot the dog because it was old and can barely walk. He also says it stinks like hell.He says that Lennie is his cousin and his mother told George that he can take care of Lennie.Slim is described as a tall man with long black straight hair. The author describes him as the prince of the ranch capable of driving ten sixteen even twenty mules with a single line to the leaders. I think that Curley is lonely because he always tries to get attention since his wife does not really love him. She is mostly flirting with other men.
23
12/17/2013 15:24:49acaraballo@mchrschool.orgCurleySmallHe didn't think it was a good place and he feared he would get into trouble. He didn't like the dog because the dog was so old it could barely walk, smells bad, has no teeth, was nearly blind, and couldn'e eat. He said that Slim could give Carlson one of the new puppies. He says that he's taking care of Lenny because Lennie is his cousin and he had promised Lennie's mom that he would take care of him, since Lennie had been kicked in the head by a horse when he was younger and wasn't very bright.Slim is the jerkline skinner. He is described as tall with long, black hair that goes straight back and a hatchet face that was ageless. His hands were large and lean, but delicate. He moved with a majesty and there was a gravity in his manner and a quiet so profound that all talk stopped when he spoke. He was the prince of the ranch.I think that Lennie is lonely because, even though he has George, he doesn't have anyone else and George acts harsh towards him often, even though he doesn't mean it. He killed the mice that were given to him and when Lennie begins to like Curley's wife, George warns him to stay away from her and says that she is just trouble.

12/17/2013 15:30:13tbreakenridge@mchrschool.orgcurlysmall "its mean her" it stinks and no goodhe promised his aunt that he would take care of him and he is a good workerhe is a high skilled mule driver and the prince of the ranch
25
12/17/2013 15:41:41jjones@mchrschool.orgcurley small because he lied he said he was a little slow and he was his cousin Slim is the "prince of the ranch." hes a leader most likely i think crook is the most lonely because he has no family and everyone on the ranch discriminates against him
