12/4/2020My Audi Q3 has just had 2 new front shock absorbers replaced. I was very happy with the service I received from Wakefield Audi and the car was returned to me beautifully cleaned but I was somewhat surprised that:
a) The shock absorbers needed replacing before the car was 3 years old and
b) The shock absorbers were not covered under the three year warranty.
Can you please explain why?

12/12/2020Wakefield Audi always offer a great service & I have a good relationship with some of the staff. I am still waiting to decide on whether I can afford to move from a Q5 to a Q7. It’s just the initial deposit that is causing the issue. But keep up the good work guys. Always a pleasure dealing with you

12/17/2020I have recently purchased a vehicle from Audi Wakefield. The whole experience has been first class. Liam was extremely helpful and friendly. He arranged for me to test drive a few cars, offered me lots of advice and information, and kept me updated throughout the purchasing process. The finance staff I dealt, Scott and James, with were also very pleasant and helpful. I felt looked after by the whole team, from arriving at the showroom, doing test drives, going through the sale and dealing with finance - everything was well taken care of. I am super happy with my car and the service I received. I would highlight recommend Audi Wakefield to anyone looking to buy a car.

12/24/2020 11:28:40On bringing two cars to your branch for MOTs on Monday 14th December we were dealt with in a professional manner with all the covid restrictions in place.
One of our cars passed the MOT but the other didn't the failure included a cracked windscreen.
When we checked this this had been damaged while in your possession and we were not informed of this during the mornings work.
On chasing this further and speaking to the service manager they said this had been caused when the car was put onto the service ramp, this had previously been through two MOTs with no problem, something i'm still struggling to understand how this caused the windscreen to crack. he accepted responsibility and agreed to replace the windscreen at their cost.
Having being a customer of yours for 6 years this was not what we expected of Wakefield Audi, disappointed that we were not informed at the time of the damage caused to the windscreen, and how this happened.

He wasn’t pushy in the slightest. He is the best salesman I have ever met. He was attentive and full of knowledge and managed to find the car I had always wanted. I will definitely be returning and recommending Wakefield Audi. Please praise these members of staff for their work.

1/2/2021 9:17:49Liam Connell was great. He found me exactly what I wanted, his communication with me was excellent throughout the process. I didn’t feel pushed at any time to make a purchase. Everything was organised smoothly and quickly and had a new car within a week of making my enquiry even though it was the Christmas period.

1/2/2021 11:59:31Absolutely pointless. I contacted you with regards purchasing a RS6 and asked for the best price you can do with the car and my part exchange of a range rover. I was asked to supply details of my car and even pictures. You even sent out gap insurance information, a video of the car and specs.

But what is the point of all this if you cannot be bothered to get back to the customer? I'm quite amazed considering its a £105k car and you do not bother coming back to the person who wants to buy it

1/18/2021 21:55:16I ended up buying my new vehicle at Blackburn Audi as they did what I asked namely supply the car I wanted in the colour I wanted at the price I wanted to pay.

Unfortunately you guys did give me a price for the car I wanted but did send me a quote for gap insurance!!! It made me feel you were more interested in selling insurance rather than the actual car!!.

Now I have to decide whether I use you guys or York to service my new Audi.

1/29/2021 19:26:19Excellent customer service from everyone I had dealings with. Particular mention must go to Matt and Charlotte who did everything they could to resolve a major problem that was effectively outside of their control.
My overall experience has been marred because my first choice vehicle was found to have a damaged gearbox, less than an hour before I was due to collect. This has cost me, not only financially, although I have been suitably compensated, but also in time and inconvenience.
I appreciate that this was a situation that could not have been foreseen and every effort was made to resolve it quickly however, I was disappointed that a courtesy vehicle could not have been made available to me whilst the repair was being done. As it is, I have spent more on an older and higher mileage vehicle, albeit with a higher spec. Time will tell whether this is a better purchase.
Huddersfield, to their credit put in a lot of effort to ensure I was supplied with a vehicle quickly and with a minimum of effort on my part. Jonathan was extremely helpful and worked tirelessly to improve what could have been a particularly poor experience. All credit to him.

2/28/2021 12:13:31Whist satisfied with how I was dealt with on that date I am less than happy with the reason for having to make this visit. Having been to a local garage for a puncture repair this could not be done as I had no locking wheel nut in the tool box. At the garage they advised me to go to where the last service had been carried out suggesting it had not been replaced at that service so I had to drive to Wakefield Audi with a semi flat tyre.
The young man fixed me up with a replacement locking nut and suggested as one would not have been used at the service in November there must not have been one in the vehicle when I bought it. As he could not have the puncture fixed I the had to drive elsewhere for the repair. I have previously raised concerns regarding my last service.

I enquired last week about purchasing a new Audi A3 from you, but was advised delivery was uncertain and may be up to week say 50. I have received quotations from Audi Doncaster and Audi Huddersfield who anticipate possible delivery as early as July. Whilst I appreciate the extreme difficulties at this time, I am disappointed that my local Audi once again fails to take part in my purchase of a new car.

3/25/2021 12:14:33Submitted a query for a car, didn't get any email asking if you could help. The odd call but was at work each time.

Then you send me, days later, an email about GAP Insurance. Which given you've not sent anything about why I was contacting you seems a bit strange. Then today I get a request for feedback. Based on this experience, it's been poor.

Just to give you a comparison. I submitted a query to BMW Wakefield, the same hour as your contact form. Within a few hours, I had an email from someone there, a full quote and through a few more emails, had more quotes based on changing specification.

Within 24 hours of my initial query, I had been given a proposal of the final spec, ordered, provided application details and had my finance approved.

This is exactly how purchasing a car should be when the buyer (me) knows exactly what he wants. I have always bought Audi since my first car back in 2001 and it's the first time I am getting a BMW solely because of the service received.

Maybe this will give you feedback about your sales process, especially at a time where people cannot come and visit you, to make things easier for those that simply want a price, want re-quotes if things need to be changed slightly and close a deal quick.

I do believe you solely worked on phone calls and because there was no email, I moved in to the easier and more efficient option meaning Audi lost out on a £65k PCP sale.

From an enquiry to phone calls from William Parker and a video of a car I originally was interested in, to coming to Wakefield Audi to view a car and having my car valued was so easy. Also Ricky and Charlotte. I never felt pressured in any way to buy a car and I liked that. Having all the paperwork sent via email was good too as it meant I could take my time to read everything through before I gave my signature.
Collecting my Audi A1 today, so excited.

4/7/2021 16:43:03My software fault still hasn't been fixed and no-one at the branch has called me back about it despite it being raised with Audi UK. Audi UK have been in touch several times to say that Wakefield Audi should have been back in touch with me. This is the worst customer experience I've had with any company. Apparently Derek (some sort of manager) has confirmed twice with Wakefield Audi (22nd March and 31st March) that he's spoken to me. He hasn't.

4/8/2021 18:13:24Clicked on the send a video button. All I received were emails regarding services which were not requested. In addition numerous calls were made by the salesperson one of which asked mr to have decency to return the call. I have purchased a car which cost £29,000. The whole experience taking around ten minutes. No sales pitch, no pointless calls about nothing. Perhaps you should take into account when you offer a video of a car you could at least send it then start talking business. Certainly not the Sytner I know.
